Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 692, Rebuke

As expected, upon seeing the Wind Dragon, the Bronze Dragon and Flame Dragon immediately became obedient.

Particularly Flame, who actually grabbed the Yamata no Orochi carcass and voluntarily presented it before her with an expression full of flattery. “We… we discovered something good, so we temporarily didn’t have time to deal with these ants! Besides, with us here, how could we possibly let them escape? We could capture them back with ease. Speaking of which, you should try this! It’s delicious!”

Seeing this scene, the Bronze Dragon beside them looked utterly incredulous. [Hey, didn’t we agree to split this spicy strip in half? Not only did you fail to hide it, but you’re actually voluntarily offering it to her!?]

Seemingly sensing the Bronze Dragon’s gaze, the Flame Dragon made an expression that said ‘what would a naive male Dragon like you understand?’ then once again looked at Wind Dragon with flattery, hoping for a response.

Wind Dragon looked at the ‘spicy strip’ in the Flame Dragon’s hand with disgust, apparently knowing that this sort of thing could hardly stimulate any appetite.

“What is this thing? How absolutely revolting!”

“It’s a spicy strip. It’s very tasty…”

“You actually eat this sort of thing? Please maintain a certain distance from me in future!” The Wind Dragon immediately stepped back two paces, making a ‘no way’ expression.

Instantly, the Flame Dragon’s expression crumpled.

Meanwhile, though the Bronze Dragon was a ‘naive male Dragon’, he could still see that the Flame Dragon’s ‘bootlicking’ behaviour did not earn the Wind Dragon’s favour.

Thus, he also began laughing from the side.

Thus, a world where only the Flame Dragon was hurt had been achieved.

Just then, another resounding Dragon Roar sounded as the Two Headed Dragon also arrived from another part of Shadow Isle.

“I still sense the aura of outsiders. Have you not yet helped the Dragon Tamer clear them out?” The Two Headed Dragon’s massive body landed, immediately causing the ground to tremble.

The two Patriarchs imprisoned within the Wind Prison did not react in time and actually stumbled, falling to the ground.

For experts of their calibre to display such an embarrassing state was truly inappropriate.

However, there was no helping it. The successive scenes that had unfolded gave them far too much shock, even making them forget they were experts.

When one thought about it, any expert would be like an ant before Adult Giant Dragons. Being unable to act like experts in front of such beings was entirely normal. After all, they were now trapped within a Wind Prison, without even the strength to resist.

Moreover, compared to the previous three Dragons, the Two Headed Dragon could be considered the strongest.

Without the Life Dragon King issuing orders, his words were basically absolute commands.

This existence, which ranked as an expert even amongst Dragons, was an unmistakable transcendent existence compared to Kage Tenshi and the others.

With Two Headed Dragon’s appearance, all four Adult Giant Dragons had now appeared on site. The accumulated shock left Kage Tenshi and the others already on the verge of collapse.

They did not even have thoughts of struggling anymore.

Facing four Giant Dragons, what use was struggling?

Unless the other party wanted to spare their lives, as long as the other party harboured a tinge of killing intent, they absolutely would not be able to escape.

The Two Headed Dragon’s arrival made both the Flame Dragon and the Bronze Dragon settle down.

The two Giant Dragons nodded slightly, clearly showing particular respect for the Two Headed Dragon.

The Bronze Dragon stammered for a while before actively speaking. “We are almost done. If we wanted to clear out these invaders, it would only take a slap. But, we didn’t want to slaughter them so quickly. We wanted to play with them for a bit, so…”

The Two Headed Dragon glanced at the roasted meat in the Flame Dragon’s hand, eyes narrowing slightly. “So, you started roasting a Monster here and nearly let the enemies escape?”

“Er…” The Flame Dragon laughed sheepishly, quietly hiding the Yamata no Orochi’s carcass behind himself, saying. “Though we’ve been a bit playful, we know what we’re doing. We definitely couldn’t have let these invaders escape. This roasted meat does taste quite good. We saved some for you. Why don’t you try it later…”

“Don’t cheekily grin at me!” The Two Headed Dragon usually had a fairly gentle temperament, but when matters arose, he became much stricter.

If not for this, he could not intimidate the Bronze Dragon and the others.

Sure enough, the Two Headed Dragon’s severity filled the Flame Dragon and the Bronze Dragon with shame.

The Flame Dragon even put down the carcass in his hand, completely losing his appetite for the spicy strip.

Seeing this, the Two Headed Dragon continued. “We live in the Dragon Tamer’s Territory, enjoying such a fine environment. We should naturally contribute our strength to protecting this place. This matter cannot be treated carelessly. If your carelessness and underestimation of the enemy truly caused this Territory to suffer mishap, how would you account to the Dragon Tamer!?”

All the Giant Dragons remained silent.

Seeing this, Lu Fan hastily smoothed things over, saying the Bronze Dragon and the Flame Dragon had promptly arrived.

The opponents were indeed not particularly powerful, so their less-than-rigorous attitude towards dealing with them was understandable.

After all, he, as the Territory Master, had never considered Kage Tenshi a significant threat from beginning to end.

Throughout, though he had deployed many Territory Defensive Measures on the island, it was actually just to experiment with them, treating Kage Tenshi as experimental tools.

With Lu Fan mediating, the Two Headed Dragon did not excessively blame the Flame Dragon and the Bronze Dragon.

The two Giant Dragons breathed sighs of relief, casting grateful glances at Lu Fan.

“Next, let’s discuss how we should deal with these few invaders.” The Wind Dragon, who had remained silent, lowered her head to examine Kage Tenshi and the others, showing no intention whatsoever of withdrawing her Wind Prison.

Two Headed Dragon nodded. “En, right. The immediate priority is to kill them.”

Speaking thus far, he looked towards Lu Fan. “Dragon Tamer, these people came to attack your Territory. How to handle them should theoretically be decided by you.”

Lu Fan said without hesitation. “There’s really nothing to decide on. Just kill them. Their only use was to help me test how effective my Territory Defensive Measures are. Now that I have a clear understanding, they’re of no further use to me.”

These words left Kage Tenshi and the others feeling bitter.

They, the mighty true rulers of Cherry Blossom Country, were merely tools in Lu Fan’s eyes.

How could this Dragon Tamer’s foundation possibly be so terrifying? With these four Giant Dragons, who would dare challenge him in future?!
