Worthless Profession: Dragon Tamer

Chapter 663, How About Coming to My Territory?

So, comprehensively speaking, returning to the Dragon Domain was not a favourable choice for them.

Rather than returning to the Dragon Domain, it would be better to find a remote Forbidden Area on other Maps and claim it as their territory.

With the strength of the four Rootless Dragons, even Divine Beings would easily get torn apart.

When that time came, they could find a decent place and re-establish a new Valley of Life.

Of course, finding such a place was also a problem…

However, implementing this sort of plan would certainly be much simpler than returning to the Dragon Domain.

Seeing that the Life Dragon King and the four Giant Dragons were also troubled by this matter, Lu Fan took the initiative to smile and said. “If you want to find a new place to settle in, why don’t you consider my Territory?”

Lu Fan’s words attracted the attention of all the Giant Dragons.

The Two Headed Dragon said in surprise. “You mean you want us to live here?”

Lu Fan nodded. “That’s right. As you’ve said, the best solution is to find suitable land again, start life anew, and construct a new Valley of Life. Rather than finding another place again, why not stay in my Territory? It is at the edge, far from Humans. At the same time, it doesn’t lack resources or Monsters. If you have the need to hunt, you can even go out to the ocean.”

“Moreover, my Territory also has Fortune Glowing Spring, that’s been enhanced by Divine Tempering Liquid. I believe the Life Force contained within should be able to supply what the Life Dragon King needs, right?”

“It would be very difficult for you to find a second place as wonderful as this. Rather than going through the trouble of leaving here to find another suitable dwelling, why not stay here with me? What do you think?”

After hearing Lu Fan’s words, the several Giant Dragons looked at each other. The Two Headed Dragon even smiled and said. “Dragon Tamer, we Dragons speak in a straightforward manner, so I’ll speak plainly. Your invitation to us…”

Lu Fan directly interrupted the other’s words, saying honestly. “That’s right. Actually, I also want you to help me guard this Territory. But I feel that this arrangement would not be problematic for both parties. I’m not exploiting you either. Strictly speaking, it’s mutually beneficial. I provide you with a place to live, and you provide protection for my Territory. There’s nothing unreasonable about this, right?”

The Giant Dragons looked at each other again.

It was evident they were quite satisfied with Shadow Isle.

Remote from Humans, it was basically a place no one would come to disturb them.

There were Monsters, there was the ocean, and the scenery was quite nice too.

More importantly, this island definitely had resources continuously emanating energy.

This energy could be used to nourish the Life Dragon King.

Previously, when the Valley of Life was invaded, the Life Dragon King had absorbed quite a bit of contaminated Life Force. So, her current state was quite precarious. If she could recuperate here for a period of time, she would surely be able to recover quickly.

Since there were resources here that the Life Dragon King needed, then why should they not stay here?

Although this was Lu Fan’s Territory, it had never been said that Humans and Giant Dragons could not coexist, right?

If they truly could not coexist, why would this Dragon Tamer have so many Pet Dragons?

So, staying here seemed like a good choice.

The Life Dragon King was also wise, immediately affirming Lu Fan’s proposal.

“What you say is reasonable. Our staying in your Territory is indeed mutually beneficial. We actually don’t have any reason to refuse.” The Life Dragon King paused, then continued. “But, just because we’re homeless and you can provide us with a decent living space doesn’t constitute a reason for us to stay here. Actually, if we were willing, naturally there would be more people who could provide us with better conditions.”

Lu Fan’s heart sank. He had not expected the Life Dragon King to be so sharp witted, immediately pointing out the key issue.

Indeed, his Territory Shadow Isle was a Territory that was difficult to find in the world.

But other Forces could also create Territories even more suitable for them to live and thrive in.

A single Starry Sky Dragon could create the Murong Family, a First Tier Ancient Noble Family. Then, the value of one Life Dragon King plus four Giant Dragons need not be mentioned.

It could be said that if a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family had such an opportunity, they would certainly bankrupt themselves to create a place comparable to the Valley of Life for these five Dragons to inhabit.

With their protection, unless it was that sort of special unknown existence like in the Valley of Life, who could challenge such a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family?

Originally, Lu Fan indeed had some intention of ‘taking advantage of their misfortune. Bringing the Life Dragon King and others to Shadow Isle was precisely to keep them here.

If Shadow Isle had these five Giant Dragons, The Magic Crystal Cannons and Lightning Waterfall Overcast would all become minor supplements to its overall strength!

Whoever dared attack Shadow Isle would die!

Unfortunately, Lu Fan’s calculations still fell through. The Life Dragon King immediately saw the key to the problem and did not go along with agreeing to stay on Shadow Isle.

…

Lu Fan gave an awkward smile, scratching his head. “You’re right. Never mind other Races, even amongst the Human Race, as long as you publicly appear, there would definitely be no shortage of people wanting to provide you with accommodation. When all’s said and done, I’m just a Level 70 Player. Compared to some behemoth-like Forces, I actually can’t really compare. So, if you want to seek other places, then there’s no helping it. I will respect your choice. Right now, I’m just showing my sincerity. Whether you go or stay is up to you. If you want to seek other accommodation and need anything, I can help you as much as possible. After all, I’m a Dragon Tamer. Taking care of Dragons is what I should do.”

Speaking thus far, Lu Fan opened his Mission Panel, listing out the Missions that the Wind Dragon and other Giant Dragons had issued to him.

“These are my credentials for discussing with you about staying in my Territory. They are the Missions you’ve issued to me. I’ve already completed all of them. Well, except for this Mission, which the Starry Sky Ancestor commissioned me. It is to ask you for a Life Fruit. He wishes to obtain one to live out his second life. I don’t know if you can still help me complete this Mission in your condition, so let’s set it aside for now.”

“There’s also this Mission, which is a Night Terror Difficulty Mission to kill the Devouring Dragon King, use the Flying Dragon Divine Tree Seed to soak up her blood, and collect the Reward from the Life Dragon King. I’ve already done this, and the Mission Item is right here.”
