Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 172: Chapter 171: He Saw Her Pink Panties

Maxwell Peary furrowed his brow, casually wedging his phone between his ear and shoulder. Reaching for his pants with his right hand, he swiftly put them on, then picked up his phone again.

”Send the list of medical and nutritional expenses to Mr. Rafael. Also, I demand that from now on, our shipments there are exempt from toll charges.”

Every time goods were shipped, toll charges were a huge expense. Mr. Rafael had been pocketing all of it. This time, Maxwell not only intended to eliminate future tolls but also to make Rafael Diaz cough up everything he’d previously taken.

While speaking, Maxwell held up his pants with one hand, struggling to fasten his belt with the other.

Nia Mitchell wrapped herself in the blanket, only her large eyes visible, blinking rapidly. She watched Maxwell simultaneously talk on the phone and wrestle with his pants and belt.

”I can help you.”

Nia finally couldn’t bear to watch him struggle any longer. She sat up abruptly, pulling the small blanket around herself, scooted to the edge of the bed, and stretched out her small hands.

Maxwell raised an eyebrow. Listening to Alan Morgan’s report on the phone, he walked over to the bed.

Nia’s face flushed crimson. She stared at the black belt, acutely aware of his intense gaze boring down on her from above. What should have been a momentary task felt like it was taking her an eternity.

When she finally fastened the belt, Nia looked up and sighed in relief, only for a brand-new shirt to be placed into her hands.

”I need to change,” he managed to say to Nia before returning to his phone conversation.

He unbuttoned his shirt with one hand. Though it was slow, it didn’t take too long.

Nia sat stiffly, awkwardly clutching the blanket wrapped around her. When she looked up, he had already unbuttoned his shirt and was taking it off. Instantly, it felt as though all her blood rushed to her head, her face burning.

In the blink of an eye, he was completely bare. His taut, honey-colored skin was enough to make anyone’s face flush and ears burn. His physique formed a perfect inverted triangle, his eight-pack abs clearly defined.

It was just a change of clothes, yet an amorous tension filled the air.

He hadn’t even finished putting on the new shirt when his call ended.

”Do you want to sleep a little longer?” Maxwell asked, looking down at her as he straightened the shirt she had helped him with.

She was kneeling at the edge of the bed, the blanket draped over her. She looked so cute, he mused, like she needed a pair of little animal ears.

”I can’t sleep anymore. I have to go to work later too. I can’t be late after working only half a day, can I?”

She bit her lip and forced a bright smile.

Maxwell nodded and didn’t press her.

”I’ll head out first then.” Maxwell bent down, pressed a kiss to her forehead, then turned and left.

Watching Maxwell leave and close the door, Nia let out a huge sigh of relief and flopped onto the large bed.

AHHHHH! What on earth had she just done?!

Her hands flew to her burning cheeks, and she couldn’t stop herself from rolling back and forth across the bed, again and again...

”Wait!”

Having just left, Maxwell remembered something and suddenly pushed the door open again.

What greeted his eyes was Rabina Mitchell rolling around on the bed.

COUGH.

Her fair thigh was exposed.

COUGH!

He thought he’d caught a glimpse of her pink panties.

”AH!” Nia cried out in shock, scrambling to adjust the blanket and cover herself as quickly as possible.

”Pervert!”

This was the second nickname Nia had bestowed upon Maxwell, after ’Uncle’.

”Nia Mitchell, you can’t just lie in bed being restless all the time.”

What’s all this rolling around? She has no sense of how to sleep properly.

He said this as he walked towards her. Alarm bells clanged in Nia’s head, and she watched him warily.
