Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 578: Chapter 578: Guests Behind the Curtain

Seeing Hu Zhongping’s face change, Ye Haochuan chuckled with a heh, ”Motherfucker, that’s for being arrogant, for thinking you’re above everyone else!”

”I didn’t say anything, I just saw that Doctor Hu, you have such an imposing aura, truly a role model for our peers. I thought you must be a top graduate from a national first-tier medical university. Didn’t expect you weren’t, which is a bit disappointing,” Ye Haochuan laughed with a heh.

”You...” Frustrated by his mix of overt praise and covert sarcasm, Hu Zhongping huffed, ”So what school did you graduate from?”

”Embarrassing, embarrassing, I’m just a graduate from a third-tier college of Traditional Chinese Medicine, nowhere close to Doctor Hu,” Ye Haochuan chuckled again with a heh.

”A graduate from a third-tier college of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and you have the nerve to show off in front of me?” Hu Zhongping sneered, too lazy to waste more words, ”Alright, step aside, I’m going to start the examination.”

Fuck, where do you get your sense of superiority? Aren’t you just a graduate from a second-tier college?

Ye Haochuan shook his head and sighed inwardly, no wonder Traditional Chinese Medicine is in such decline, mainly because our people worship everything foreign and lack confidence in the medical arts handed down by our ancestors.

Thinking this, he vowed silently that he must make Traditional Chinese Medicine flourish under his care, to restore its standing at the pinnacle of the world once more.

The two nurses had already adjusted the professional examination equipment, and Hu Zhongping began to get busy. However, looking at the normal charts and data displayed on the machine, his face turned, and he muttered to himself: ”This is unscientific, it just can’t be!”

Motherfucker, now let’s see what you have to say for yourself?

Ye Haochuan gave a small smile, but did not speak.

Jiang Shangwen and Wang Lihua, the husband and wife, upon hearing Hu Zhongping’s words, couldn’t help feeling worried and quickly asked what was wrong.

”This...” Hu Zhongping was quite dejected and didn’t know how to answer properly.

The examination results showed that the child’s brain trauma had healed and the hematoma inside was cleanly dealt with.

If not for the instrument showing that the child’s brain indeed had a significant wound, he would have really thought this family was fooling him.

But this also indirectly proved that Ye Haochuan truly did heal the child’s brain injury, but as a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, without performing any surgery, how could he have healed the child?

It was incredibly unbelievable!

”Doctor Hu, say something, what are the child’s examination results?” Ye Haochuan crossed his arms, chuckling with a heh.

This was also why he had refused to say much earlier, only by deliberately appearing weak and allowing Hu Zhongping to become overconfident, would it hurt more when he fell from his high horse.

Hu Zhongping was greatly embarrassed, but to admit defeat to a doctor from a third-tier college of Traditional Chinese Medicine was something he couldn’t bring himself to do. He huffed and said reluctantly, ”The examination results aren’t very satisfactory; further treatment and care are needed, otherwise, the child won’t wake up. I suggest we send him to the hospital immediately...”

”Ah!” Jiang Shangwen and Wang Lihua were immediately anxious.

Fucking hell, this guy is spouting nonsense, just to beat me down, he’s deliberately saying this.

Ye Haochuan snorted and laughed with a heh, ”Listening to Doctor Hu, it sounds like you’re saying my treatment wasn’t successful.”

Seeing his mocking smile, Hu Zhongping felt somewhat guilty and couldn’t look at him, gritting his teeth, ”That’s right.”

”So according to you, if we don’t send him to the hospital for further treatment and care, the child won’t wake up, right?” Ye Haochuan continued to press.

However, Hu Zhongping was very impatient, ”Are you annoying or what, asking endlessly, it’s settled, send him to the hospital quickly, any delay and he might never wake up...”

He had barely finished speaking when Jiang Shuying suddenly cried out in surprise and joy, ”Dad, Mom, Brother’s awake, he’s awake...”

”What?” Hu Zhongping’s expression instantly froze.

Damn it, how fucking ironic, I had just said the kid wouldn’t wake up, and here he is waking up. Heaven, you’re not playing with me, are you?

Hu Zhongping was utterly speechless, his face as red as a monkey’s ass.

What he didn’t know was that Ye Haochuan had deliberately chosen the moment to secretly transmit some Longevity Gang Qi over, helping the little guy Jiang Shuqing wake up ahead of time, so Ye Haochuan had played it magnificently, slapping Hu’s face metaphorically.

The parents, Jiang Shangwen and Wang Lihua, who had just been worried that their son wouldn’t wake up, were now so excited they could hardly contain themselves, especially Jiang Shangwen, who couldn’t control his emotions and began to weep and unusually started to apologize to his son.

Seeing his always stern father apologizing to him, Jiang Shuqing suddenly felt aggrieved and started crying loudly.

It took a while before Jiang Shuqing calmed everyone down. Ye Haochuan, taking into account that the boy had just recovered from a brain injury and needed rest, asked everyone to leave, leaving only Wang Lihua in the room to take care of him.

After leaving the room, Hu Zhongping had completely lost his temper and skulked off with two nurses in tow, not even having the face to ask for the consultation fee Jiang Shangwen had offered.

Following this incident, Jiang Shangwen fully realized that he had misunderstood Ye Haochuan. Recalling how he had previously rejected him, Jiang Shangwen’s old face blushed with shame, and he was embarrassingly at a loss for words.

Ye Haochuan was well aware of this but didn’t care at all.

As it was already late, and because Wang Lihua had to take care of her son, she asked her daughter, Jiang Shuying, to arrange accommodations for Ye Haochuan.

Since Jiang Shuying usually wasn’t home, her room was often used as a guest room.

After Jiang Shuying had made the bed and prepared some hot water for him to wash up, she led him to the guest room to rest.

Upon entering the room, Ye Haochuan was greeted with the faint scent of jasmine that filled the air, delightfully refreshing.

”Master, our home isn’t very well-off, so you’ll have to make do for the night,” Jiang Shuying said.

”No problem at all, the conditions here are quite good,” Ye Haochuan replied as he looked around. Noticing that the room was full of items for a young girl, an idea crossed his mind and he said with a laugh, ”Shuying, if I’m not mistaken, this must be your boudoir, right?”

”What boudoir? Master, all you do is make fun of people,” Jiang Shuying said, her head bowed in embarrassment, her cheeks flushed.

”Boudoir or not, it’s still ultimately your room, right?” Ye Haochuan laughed, ”By the way, does that make me your esteemed guest?”

Guest my foot, you’re just a wolf in the West Chamber.

Seeing him tease her, Jiang Shuying didn’t dare stay any longer and, leaving with ”Master, you should rest early,” she fled like she was escaping.

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but laugh to himself, this female disciple of his was so thin-skinned, she couldn’t take a joke at all!

That night, everyone tacitly went to bed early.

The next morning, Ye Haochuan got up early and, while having breakfast with the Jiang family of four, the little guy Jiang Shuqing suddenly asked him, ”Uncle Ye, can I study martial skills under you as your disciple?”

Next to him, Jiang Shangwen immediately scolded, ”At such a young age, what do you want to learn martial skills for? To make trouble, get into fights, and brawl?”
