Invincible Little School Doctor

Wang Yingjun, who was nowhere near as thick-skinned as he, couldn’t bring himself to refuse even though he didn’t want him there, and he let out a dry laugh, ”You’re Miss Jiang’s friend, of course I have no reason to refuse. Naturally, we’ll go together.”

”Haha, Brother Handsome is indeed generous!” Ye Haochuan chuckled mischievously and gave Wang Yan a provocative look.

This guy, she hadn’t expected this twist, Wang Yan’s heart was biting with hatred at this moment, but she could not say anything more, she could only annoyedly glare at Ye Haochuan.

Seeing her helpless look, Ye Haochuan felt secretly thrilled inside. Damn it, you wanted to get rid of me, right? Well, I won’t let you have your way.

”Miss Jiang, is there a nice cafe around here?” Wang Yingjun naturally wouldn’t miss a chance to bond with his crush.

Jiang Shuying didn’t want to go, but given the situation, she couldn’t refuse. Besides, with Ye Haochuan sending her a reassuring look, she relaxed. Who cares, with her master there, what was there to fear?

”There’s a Starbucks near our TV station building, let’s go there,” Jiang Shuying suggested after thinking for a moment.

”Great, Miss Jiang certainly has taste. Going to a quiet and elegant place like Starbucks is more than appropriate,” Wang Yingjun praised tirelessly to earn a favorable smile from her.

What the heck, as if going to Starbucks is all quiet and elegant and other places aren’t?

Ye Haochuan felt disdainful and couldn’t help saying, ”Shuying, Starbucks is fine, but it’s not a place I, a common Huaxia guy, enjoy. Besides, we Huaxia people don’t need to be promoting a United States joint, do we? We should support our own national enterprises. That’s the proper thing to do.”

Wang Yingjun was startled, obviously not expecting Ye Haochuan to undermine him. He felt as if he had been slapped in the face.

By this point, he was beginning to feel that Ye Haochuan was targeting him, cursing in his heart. Damn it, if you, a common guy, don’t like Starbucks, then don’t go there. What’s all the fuss? You’re just an ordinary friend of Miss Jiang, who gave you the right to speak?

However, he couldn’t express this thought aloud. Firstly, he didn’t want Jiang Shuying to think less of his character, and secondly, he wasn’t as shameless as Ye Haochuan.

Unexpectedly, upon hearing Ye Haochuan’s suggestion, Jiang Shuying quickly changed her mind, ”Then where do you suggest we go?”

”On the way here, I saw a teahouse nearby called Tingfeng Pavilion. How about we go there?” Ye Haochuan suggested, glancing at Wang Yingjun with a chuckle, ”Brother Handsome, you, having studied abroad, must have grown accustomed to coffee. Today might be a good day to appreciate the profound tea culture of our Huaxia.”

Jiang Shuying immediately echoed with a smile, ”Haichuan, you’re right, insightful and profound. Then let’s go to Tingfeng Pavilion.”

Damn, all the good words are taken by you alone.

Seeing his crush so jubilant, Wang Yingjun felt a tinge of jealousy but, being deeply influenced by Western gentlemanly culture, he didn’t voice any opposition and agreed instead.

Meanwhile, Wang Yan was extremely annoyed, seeing that Ye Haochuan was deliberately making things difficult, but fortunately, that guy had the decency not to reveal his identity as Yingying’s boyfriend right there. So she decided to let it go.

However, deep down, she had made up her mind. Once they got to Tingfeng Pavilion, she would definitely find a way to get rid of this guy, to create a chance for Yingying and Young Master Wang to be alone.

Afterward, Wang Yan told several subordinates waiting outside in an SUV to handle their tasks without worrying about her, and the foursome walked toward Tingfeng Pavilion, chatting and laughing along the way.

It has to be said, Wang Yingjun, educated in the West, really was a bit verbose. All along the way, he incessantly talked about his overseas study experiences, how he studied and worked hard, how he saved money while studying, and even dropped a few phrases in English every now and then, which bored Ye Haochuan and Jiang Shuying almost to sleep.

Wang Yan, trying not to let the atmosphere grow cold, would occasionally chip in to liven things up.

Upon reaching Tingfeng Pavilion, the four sat down around a table.

A waiter soon approached with menus in hand: ”What would you like to drink?”

Seizing the opportunity to impress his crush, Wang Yingjun quickly took the menu and smiled, ”What would you like? Today, it’s on me.”

”I’ll have a glass of plain water,” Wang Yan stated first.

”I share the same taste as my aunt. I’ll also have a glass of plain water,” Jiang Shuying followed.

”It seems like you both know quite a bit about staying healthy, drinking plain boiled water is good, as it enhances metabolism and promotes circulation, haha...” Wang Yingjun laughed and snapped his fingers, ”OK, I’ll also have a cup of plain boiled water.”

Good lord, it’s just boiled water, why make such a fuss over it like it’s some kind of profound wisdom?

Ye Haochuan was speechless.

At that moment, Wang Yingjun turned his gaze to his face and smiled, ”Brother Haichuan, what about you? What would you like to drink? Just go ahead and order, don’t be shy with me!”

Damn it, I’ve never even known the meaning of being shy! If I don’t rip you off big time today, I’m taking your last name!

Ye Haochuan chuckled and brazenly said, ”I’m not fussy, I’ll just reluctantly have a cup of top-quality Longjing tea from West Lake.”

Thud!

It was then that a nearby waiter almost stumbled, for Longjing tea from West Lake, such an expensive tea, is hardly affordable for most, and he said with a troubled face, ”Sir, we don’t have top-quality Longjing tea from West Lake.”

Ye Haochuan secretly lamented, what a great opportunity to fleece someone, wasted!

Meanwhile, Wang Yingjun was speechless, thinking, ”Don’t you even check the menu? Does it even list Longjing tea from West Lake?”

”Brother Haichuan, here’s the menu. Order from this,” Wang Yingjun said as he handed over the menu.

”Ah, how can your teahouse not have Longjing tea from West Lake? It really lowers the class. You need to improve!” Ye Haochuan shook his head as he glanced at the waiter, then took the menu and started to look through it.

”%$#&...,” the waiter beside him didn’t dare utter a word, just forcefully holding back his voice.

Ye Haochuan glanced through the menu and since he was intent on fleecing, he didn’t need to worry about the prices. He specifically chose the most expensive, but unfortunately, this teahouse catered to low-end consumers; the highest price was only a few dozen yuan per cup.

In the end, his gaze stopped on an item in the menu and he chuckled, ”I’m quite fond of ’bursting chrysanthemums’; let’s just have a cup of chrysanthemum tea then.”

So vulgar! Absolutely vulgar!

Both Wang Yan and Wang Yingjun cursed inwardly.

Jiang Shuying also felt extremely awkward, thinking how could her master say such vulgar things? It was truly embarrassing.

Ye Haochuan didn’t care at all, thinking, ”This is just who I am, so what? Since I’m supposed to be helping my female disciple, I might as well take this chance to annoy Wang Yingjun a bit more while my identity isn’t public yet. It’s pretty satisfying.”

Soon, three cups of plain boiled water and one cup of chrysanthemum tea were served.

The four had just started chatting, and feeling quite thirsty, they all took their drinks and started sipping.

At that moment, Ye Haochuan’s mouth started causing trouble again: ”Chrysanthemum is incomplete, the pais full of hurt.”

Spit!

Wang Yingjun immediately sprayed out the water he was drinking, not only covering his face but also filling the air with mist.

Seeing this, both Wang Yan and Jiang Shuying felt a bit nauseous, losing any desire to continue drinking. They took out tissues from the table and started wiping.

”Oh dear, Brother Handsome, your mental resilience couldn’t be this fragile, could it? I was just expressing some feelings, and you started spurting like that?”

As Ye Haochuan spoke, he chuckled inwardly, thinking, ”Damn, I’m too talented. Using ’spurt’ is just spot on!”
