Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 576: Chapter 576: Suicide

At that moment, a clear child’s voice reached my ears, ”Big brother, could I become your apprentice and have you teach me martial skills?”

Ye Haochuan looked down and recognized the kid; it wasn’t anyone else but Jiang Shuqing, Jiang Shuying’s little brother.

Seeing the eager look on the kid’s face, Ye Haochuan was hesitating when Wang Lihua came forward and knocked on Jiang Shuqing’s forehead, chiding, ”You little rascal, show some respect. What big brother? He’s your sister’s master, you should call him uncle.”

”Ah? He’s my sister’s master?” A look of surprise appeared on Jiang Shuqing’s face as he asked Ye Haochuan, ”Uncle, is what my mom said true?”

Ye Haochuan nodded, ”If you really want to learn, you can ask your sister to teach you.”

He couldn’t very well agree rashly; the kid’s parents didn’t think highly of him, and they might not consent to it.

”My sister would rather see me be a good boy. She won’t teach me!” Jiang Shuqing huffed.

”Good to know she won’t teach you, so you’ll stop causing trouble,” said Jiang Shuying as she walked up and patted her brother’s head. Her cheeks were still flushed, and she didn’t dare to look at Ye Haochuan, obviously still unsettled from the teasing she had endured earlier.

”What do you mean causing trouble? That jerk was bullying someone earlier, and I couldn’t stand watching it, so I intervened. I was standing up for what’s right,” Jiang Shuqing countered defiantly.

Damn, this kid has a strong sense of justice. Not bad!

Admiration filled Ye Haochuan’s eyes.

However, others didn’t see it the same way, especially Jiang Shangwen, who had gone inside. Hearing his son’s words, he flew into a rage on the spot, ”You little brat, fighting is fighting. What righteous intervention? At your young age, instead of studying, you think about being hero? Is that something for you to consider? You wretched boy, get into the study now!”

Jiang Shuqing seemed to be very afraid of his father and obediently went inside.

Before long, a tirade from Jiang Shangwen could be heard from the study. But Jiang Shuqing was a rebellious character, daring to argue back with his father and refusing to admit fault. Inevitably, he soon faced a beating from Jiang Shangwen.

Ye Haochuan found it dull to listen to this. Jiang Shangwen was supposed to be a teacher of the people, but his educational methods were too crude for praise.

Wang Lihua, on the other hand, was somewhat embarrassed. Although she wasn’t welcoming towards Ye Haochuan at first, after all, he did help resolve a crisis at home and ensured that Mayor Yao and his spouse got what they deserved, she was grateful. Moreover, this young man was her daughter’s master, so by all accounts she should not continue to speak coldly.

Thinking this, she smiled and said, ”Mr. Ye, it’s cold outside. Please come into the house and have a seat.”

Feeling her goodwill, Ye Haochuan naturally did not give her the cold shoulder and chuckled, ”Thank you very much.”

However, just as he was about to step into the house, the sound of Jiang Shuqing’s defiant crying came from the neighboring study.

”I’m not wrong, I did nothing wrong. Why do you say I’m in error? You may think being meek is a virtue, but I find it cowardly. Just now, when Town Chief Yao and his despicable family came knocking, even though they were at fault, you didn’t dare to let out a peep. Are you really my dad? Do you deserve to be my dad? If I had known you were so useless, I wouldn’t have been born into this family...”

Ye Haochuan was dumbstruck upon hearing these outrageous words, both shocked and impressed by the audacity of Jiang Shuqing’s remarks.

Even though the kid was rather unfilial in how he talked back to his father, what he said wasn’t without reason!

Slap!

A loud slap suddenly rang out. While Ye Haochuan, Jiang Shuying, and Wang Lihua were all outside, they could hear it clearly. One could only imagine how hard Jiang Shangwen had slapped him!

”You good-for-nothing thing, how did our Jiang Family ever give birth to such a disobedient son?” Jiang Shangwen was so angry that smoke might as well have been billowing from his seven orifices.

”You keep calling me disobedient, fine, I might as well crash into a wall and die, so you won’t have to be angry with me every day...”

Outside, Ye Haochuan and the other two vaguely sensed something was wrong, and sure enough, just a second later, there was a loud bang, as if something had crashed into a wall.

”Not good! Shuqing that boy actually tried to commit suicide by slamming his head against the wall!” Ye Haochuan’s face turned pale.

Upon hearing this, Wang Lihua and Jiang Shuying screamed and ran towards the study like mad.

When the three of them burst into the study, they saw Jiang Shuqing lying limply on the ground next to the desk, his forehead covered in fresh blood, motionless.

As for Jiang Shangwen himself, he had completely frozen, standing on the side with a dumbfounded look on his face.

”My son, my son...” Wang Lihua sobbed hysterically as she threw herself onto him, but no matter how much she shook him, Jiang Shuqing would not wake up.

”Little brother...” Jiang Shuying also cried and flung herself on him.

At that moment, Wang Lihua glared at Jiang Shangwen with contempt, tugging and crying out to him, ”You Jiang, you’ve killed my son, you’ve killed my son, I’m going to fight you to death, to death...”

Jiang Shangwen was already in tears, with no mood to argue with her, he bellowed, ”Can you calm down? We need to rush the child to the hospital, if it’s too late, it could be troublesome.”

Only then did Wang Lihua come to her senses, glaring at him hatefully and said, ”You Jiang, I’ll settle this with you later.”

The couple hurriedly called for an ambulance, preparing to rush him to the emergency room, when Ye Haochuan spoke, ”This child has already suffered a brain hemorrhage, we can’t delay any longer. If the blood starts to compress the central nervous system, I fear even if he survives, he may still suffer from mental abnormalities. I have some knowledge of medicine, let me try to save him.”

It was then that the couple realized he was a university medical officer, but Jiang Shangwen, already discontent with Ye Haochuan, snorted, ”A mere university medical officer, how good can your medical skills be? Don’t you see how seriously injured my son is? Do you think you can heal him?”

Ye Haochuan frowned, how could this old man be so selfish? Too conservative, right?

At that moment, Jiang Shuying stepped in to support, ”Dad, Mom, Master’s medical skills are second to none. Even the national experts in Huaxia’s capital may not be his match. Please let him treat little brother. If it’s really a brain hemorrhage and it affects my brother’s condition, it will be too late.”

Wang Lihua, hearing this, could not care about anything else and immediately agreed.

Jiang Shangwen still refused, and Ye Haochuan, annoyed, told Jiang Shuying, ”Shuying, keep your father in check and don’t interfere with my treatment.”

”Yes, Master!” Jiang Shuying immediately mobilized her True Qi and sealed his acupoint, making him unable to move.

Jiang Shangwen struggled for a while but remained motionless, with an enraged expression he shouted. ”You disobedient girl, have you lost your mind, even daring to treat your own father like this?”

Strangely enough, in the past, Jiang Shuying was somewhat scared of her father. But now, for her brother’s sake, she threw caution to the wind, completely ignoring him. Even later, annoyed by his constant talking, she even sealed his Mute Acupoint.

At this moment, Ye Haochuan had already activated his Gang Qi and lifted Jiang Shuqing into the air for treatment.

This act instantly impressed Wang Lihua, who was nearby. She had lived half a lifetime; when had she ever seen a doctor who could levitate a patient in midair?
