Chapter 566: Chapter 566: Are You Peeing Standing Up?

As expected, Jiang Shuying’s eyebrows knitted together in worry as she nervously took the call, and began to converse with her mother.

Based on the snippets of conversation between her and her mother, Ye Haochuan became increasingly certain his guess was right: the caller was indeed calling to raise an issue about the recent incident.

Jiang Shuying naturally tried her best to explain, but as her brows furrowed tighter and tighter, Ye Haochuan knew that the matter was not so easily resolved.

After a while, Jiang Shuying hung up the phone and sighed.

”Hehe, your aunt really knows how to play her cards right. When she can’t deal with you directly, she brings your family into it to press you,” Ye Haochuan said with a faint smile.

”Master, what should I do now? My mom said that since it’s a person my aunt approves of, they will support him unconditionally,” Jiang Shuying said helplessly.

”Unconditional support?” Ye Haochuan shook his head with a smile. This girl’s aunt had quite an influence; he had somewhat underestimated her.

”Mm.” Jiang Shuying, blushing, glanced at him again. ”Also, my mom said that she forbids me to be with you, otherwise she’ll disown me as her daughter.”

Although she could dismiss her aunt without a second thought, when it came to her own parents, how could she so easily renounce them?

”Hehe, it doesn’t matter. After all, we are master and disciple,” Ye Haochuan said with an unconcerned smile.

”You...” Jiang Shuying’s expression was somewhat strange, seemingly a bit dissatisfied.

”What’s with the ’you’? Is there something wrong with what I said?” Ye Haochuan felt confused—women’s hearts were indeed as elusive as the needles at the bottom of the sea, the ancients surely didn’t deceive me!

Jiang Shuying stared at him intently for a moment; her expression became even more unfathomable, and in the end, she laughed, ”I mean, Master, you’re right, absolutely correct.”

”That’s it?” Ye Haochuan, sharp as he was, noticed that while she seemed to be laughing, the laughter was clearly forced.

”Yes, that’s it,” Jiang Shuying admitted, looking down guiltily with a voice as faint as a mosquito’s.

Ye Haochuan felt it was not that simple after all, but couldn’t fathom what she was truly thinking. Recalling his previous guess, he joked, ”I’m telling you, girl, you couldn’t have fallen for your master, have you? I must warn you, don’t have any improper thoughts about me. Otherwise, your Junior Mistress will tear me to shreds, won’t she?”

With mortification, Jiang Shuying stamped her foot, ”Master, what are you talking about? Who has improper thoughts about you? You always bully others. You even forced a kiss earlier... hmph, and to think you’re a master, not embarrassed at all.”

”Please, my good disciple, did your master force a kiss on you? Wasn’t that just to cover for you and make your aunt believe we are in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship? And didn’t you also force a kiss on me afterward? How should we settle that account?” Ye Haochuan defended himself.

”Master you...”

Recalling her own initiative in forcing a kiss, Jiang Shuying wished she could hide in a crack in the ground. However, having been with Ye Haochuan for some time, she had picked up some of his shameless tactics. Lifting her pretty little neck, she said, ”Wasn’t I just trying to make Wang Yingjun give up, deliberately doing that? It’s not as indecent as what you’re thinking.”

When I, your master, kiss you, it’s shameful, but when you kiss me, it’s justified? What kind of logic is this?

Ye Haochuan was rendered speechless and let out a sigh, ”Alright, let’s not argue over this needless matter. Let’s just not mention today’s events again, lest your boyfriend finds out and comes after me to fight to the death, which would be very bad.”

”My boyfriend?” Jiang Shuying paused for a moment.

”Yeah, didn’t you just tell your aunt that you already have someone you like?” Ye Haochuan said.

Jiang Shuying suddenly realized and gave him a meaningful look, ”Right, I already have someone I like, so, Master, you can’t tell anyone about today’s events, or your disciple will never let you off the hook.”

Just what capabilities do you have to not let your master off the hook, girl?

Ye Haochuan couldn’t help but laugh, shaking his head, then suddenly said, ”By the way, your mother called you earlier, she must be pressing you to get together with that Wang Yingjun again. What do you plan to do next?”

”How would I know what to do?” Jiang Shuying looked troubled, ”I’m almost fed up now. Just now, my mom even said that I should leave Haishan as soon as possible and go back to my hometown.”

”Then let me give you a suggestion, how about this, just bring your boyfriend back home and say the rice has already been cooked into rice porridge and that you’re also pregnant. Would your parents still break you two apart?” Ye Haochuan suggested after pondering for a moment.

”Master, what kind of bad idea is that? ’Cooked rice into rice porridge,’ and pregnant as well? If my parents found out, wouldn’t they beat me to death? Plus, our family is very strict with education, and my parents are very traditional, especially my dad, who’s incredibly conservative. If he knew, he’d definitely beat me to a pulp,” Jiang Shuying said, a bit frightened.

”No way, is your dad that exaggerated?” Ye Haochuan shook his head, finding the situation a bit tricky, ”Then there’s nothing your master can do, you’re on your own now.”

”Ah!” Seeing that he too had no solution, Jiang Shuying immediately felt disheartened, but then her eyes lit up with excitement, ”Master, why don’t you come with me again? To meet my parents. With you by my side, maybe there’s a chance for things to turn around.”

”What? Go meet your parents with you? And pretend to be your boyfriend? Wouldn’t they beat me to death?” Ye Haochuan recoiled.

”You’re really something, Master. Who said anything about you pretending to be my boyfriend? Just go as my master. My dad, although conservative, has always placed great importance on respecting teachers and the Tao. You’re my master, he’s bound to treat you like an honored guest,” Jiang Shuying explained.

Ye Haochuan finally breathed a sigh of relief, but his expression still showed some difficulty, ”But your master doesn’t have that much time, you know. I have thousands of chickens to manage every day, it’s incredibly laborious...”

”So, you’re not going, Master? If you don’t go, I’ll tell the Junior Mistress about you forcefully kissing me,” Jiang Shuying threatened.

”Isn’t that a bit too harsh?” Ye Haochuan wasn’t afraid of her telling Han Xue’er, since Xue’er was gentle and obedient, easy to appease, but he feared the news reaching his mother which would be troublesome.

His mother Tong Xiangxiu was also a traditionalist, who wouldn’t want him flirting around. If she knew that he even dared to meddle with his female disciple, she’d definitely blow her top. If anything happened, he as a son would be profoundly unfilial.

”I mean what I say!” Jiang Shuying said sternly.

”You reckless girl, even daring to threaten your master. Alright, you’ve scared your master now. So, when do we leave?” Ye Haochuan said reluctantly.

Jiang Shuying thought for a moment and said, ”I had a really unpleasant argument with my aunt today. She’ll definitely try to convince my parents and go see them in my hometown. To get a step ahead, the sooner we leave, the better. Let’s try to meet my parents as early as possible. I’ll buy plane tickets on my phone right now.”

As she spoke, she took out her phone.

”Alright then, I’m not working tomorrow anyway and was supposed to rest for a day. I might as well accompany you on this trip,” Ye Haochuan said with resignation.

While Jiang Shuying was buying tickets on her phone beside him, he, feeling bored, also took out his phone to check WeChat Moments. Just so happened, Zhao Bingqian, that girl, posted a status: Today I did something so manly, felt awesome!

Ye Haochuan found it amusing and felt compelled to leave a comment below her post: Did you pee standing up?
