Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 577: Chapter 577: My Apologies

Ye Haochuan was unaware of Wang Lihua’s thoughts at the moment; he was utterly focused on saving a life.

The brain hemorrhage suffered by Jiang Shuqing was severe, which just showed how desperate the boy had been, feeling utterly hopeless.

At least from this perspective, it had completely negated the failed educational approach of his father, Jiang Shangwen.

With a wave of his hand, Ye Haochuan took out one silver needle after another, accurately and swiftly inserting them into the acupoints of Jiang Shuqing’s brain. Then, with a gentle sweep around his head, he infused the soft Gang Qi into the needles, first stopping the bleeding area.

The whole process didn’t take long, just half a minute.

However, dissolving the blood clots was more draining on Essence Qi, taking up a full five minutes.

”Alright, that should do it,” Ye Haochuan breathed a sigh of relief, gradually removing the silver needles, placing them back into the storage ring, and then continued to support Jiang Shuqing’s frail body with Gang Qi, settling him into a bedroom.

Wang Lihua had been watching the entire process. Seeing such a divine display of acupuncture techniques, her trust in him had grown boundless. However, seeing her son still not awaking, she couldn’t help but express her worry, ”Mr. Ye, but my son hasn’t woken up yet.”

”Wait a bit longer. His brain has just suffered a major trauma. Although I’ve stopped the bleeding and cleared the clots, he’s lost a lot of blood and is extremely weak, so it will take some time for him to regain consciousness...” Ye Haochuan explained with a smile.

”Oh,” Wang Lihua nodded but couldn’t hide the tension on her face.

Seeing that the treatment was over, Jiang Shuying came over to comfort her mother, ”Mom, don’t worry. With my master here, my brother will be fine.”

Wang Lihua nodded and gave Ye Haochuan a grateful glance, choking up without being able to say a word.

Ye Haochuan smiled slightly and signaled Jiang Shuying with his eyes, ”Go and unblock your father’s Mute Acupoint.”

However, Wang Lihua gave a heavy snort, ”Don’t bother with that old thing. Our son was nearly killed because of him. If we don’t punish him and make him remember this lesson, how can we let it go?”

Ye Haochuan and Jiang Shuying exchanged smiles, but Ye Haochuan still said, ”We could leave him immobilized, but it might be best to let him speak. If we suppress him for too long and his blood and Qi become stagnant, it might not be good for his health.”

Jiang Shuying gave an acknowledging sound and left the bedroom to go to the study and unblock her father’s Mute Acupoint.

To their surprise, as soon as Jiang Shangwen could speak, he began to scold Jiang Shuying, calling her an unfilial daughter and ranting about how she dared to turn against her own father.

Unable to stand it any longer, Wang Lihua rushed in and started berating him furiously, leaving Jiang Shangwen without any fight and filled with shame.

Seeing that he truly had repented, Ye Haochuan then allowed Jiang Shuying to release his acupoints and restore his freedom.

As soon as Jiang Shangwen could move, he no longer cared about losing face and hurried to the bedroom to see his son, perhaps a pang of conscience hitting him, and ultimately, ended up crying his eyes out in the bedroom.

It was at this moment that the sound of the ambulance siren from the 120 emergency service came from outside.

”Mom, I’ll go tell the ambulance doctors that they can leave,” Jiang Shuying said to Wang Lihua.

Wang Lihua was thinking the same, but Jiang Shangwen interrupted, ”No, no, no, the doctors are already here, just let them come in and take another look. Otherwise, they might think we’re making a fool of them.”

As he spoke, there was a flicker in his eyes, a hint of guilt. Ye Haochuan knew it very well, damn, the man clearly still didn’t trust my medical skills, huh? Oh well, for the sake of Shuying, my disciple, I won’t take it to heart.

Jiang Shuying also noticed the ulterior motives in her father’s heart and said, ”Dad, is that really necessary?”

”What’s the fuss? Just go and do it,” Jiang Shangwen said sternly.

However, his tone had softened quite a bit. Clearly, his spouse’s lashing had brought about an epiphany, and he didn’t dare to put on airs any longer.

”Yingying, you go open the door. After all, we were the ones who called the emergency number, and if we turn them away, it will only give the neighbors something to gossip about,” Wang Lihua had come to agree with her husband this time.

Although she had great faith in Ye Haochuan’s medical skills, it was after all a matter concerning her own son. Inviting the doctor in for a check would serve as a double assurance.

”Alright,” Jiang Shuying said helplessly, giving Ye Haochuan a look full of regret.

Ye Haochuan responded with a generous smile, ”Go ahead.”

Only then did Jiang Shuying open the door.

Soon after, a young male doctor and two nurses, equipped with professional medical devices, walked in.

However, as the doctor walked in, he complained to Jiang Shuying, ”I mean, it’s one thing that the victim is severely injured, but you can’t just resort to anything in desperation. Traditional Chinese Medicine with Acupuncture Techniques? Can Acupuncture Techniques really cure diseases? What if the needle damages the brain nerves, what then?”

Hearing the incoming doctor’s words, Jiang Shangwen and Wang Lihua, who initially had full confidence in Ye Haochuan’s medical skills, suddenly felt uneasy.

”Who was it that was messing around with the patient just now?” the constantly complaining young male doctor glanced around the room and asked.

Hell, what does he mean by messing around with the patient?

Ye Haochuan felt quite displeased and retorted with a slight smile, ”I did the treatment. Is there a problem with that?”

The young male doctor’s expression darkened as he said, ”I mean, comrade, where is your professional ethics? Stick with prescribing your Traditional Chinese Medicine medicines for things like hemiplegia and headaches. What are you doing tinkering with surgical procedures? Is surgery even something within your scope as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine?”

Damn, what kind of nonsense is this? As a Huaxia person, to so severely look down on Traditional Chinese Medicine, the heritage passed down to us Huaxia People by our ancestors!

Ye Haochuan was thoroughly annoyed, ready to burst out, but then an idea struck him, and he let out a sly smile, unusually refraining from any retort.

Jiang Shangwen and Wang Lihua grew even more anxious seeing his reaction. But Jiang Shuying alone could tell that her master was feigning weakness on purpose. She had been following her master long enough to know he had never been at a loss before.

Seeing Ye Haochuan so seemingly unbothered, the young male doctor grew even more presumptuous, ”Move aside, don’t get in the way.”

Jiang Shuying was furious. This male doctor was going too far. Even if you don’t recognize the value of Traditional Chinese Medicine, you can’t just insult someone like that, especially when it’s her master at stake.

She was about to blow up, but Ye Haochuan waved his hand at her, signaling her to remain calm. He smiled, ”It seems, doctor, that you have been trained in Western medicine, right? Which university did you graduate from?”

”Of course, it’s the trend to study Western medicine nowadays. There’s no real future in studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. As for where I graduated from, it’s not worth mentioning...” the young male doctor appeared somewhat modest.

With that tail of yours wagging high in the sky, still not worth mentioning?

Ye Haochuan inwardly sneered.

At this moment, one of the nurses looked admiringly at the young male doctor and said to Ye Haochuan, ”Listen well, our Doctor Hu Zhongping graduated from a second-tier medical college in our province, he’s a top student.”

Ye Haochuan immediately adopted an air of deep respect, clasped his hands together, and said with a smile, ”My apologies, my apologies. So, Doctor Hu is a graduate of a second-tier medical college in our province. I thought you graduated from a national first-tier medical university.”

Listening to the first part of his statement, Hu Zhongping swelled with pride, mistaking it for flattery. But the last sentence completely twisted the meaning.

Hu Zhongping’s face darkened, ”What did you say?”
