Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 563: Chapter 563: Karma in This Life

Having seen Ye Haochuan encourage her to accept, Jiang Shuying annoyedly glanced at him and thought to herself, ”This master of yours is really something. You were supposed to pretend to be someone’s boyfriend just so that this Mr. Wang would give up on pursuing me. But here you are, making things worse.”

”This... Mr. Wang, I appreciate your sentiment, but this jade pendant is so valuable, I simply cannot accept it. If you really want to give it away, you could give it to someone very close to you, like your parents—especially Director Wang. He’s getting on in years yet still works hard for the station every day. I would be really happy if you gave it to him,” Jiang Shuying hurriedly declined.

Damn, my female disciple really knows how to save her own skin, huh? Look at the way she spoke—absolutely skillful! She’s indeed a journalist.

Ye Haochuan silently admired her in thought.

On the other hand, Wang Yingjun, seeing that his beloved refused to accept it, felt frustrated. Although what she said made perfect sense, he still wished she would accept it so he could further pursue her, right?

So, he continued, ”Miss Jiang, you overestimate the situation. Although this jade pendant is precious, it is nothing compared to your importance in my heart. Even though my father really could use this jade pendant, I believe he would support me even more if I gave it to you. Please, Miss Jiang, accept it.”

Helplessly, Jiang Shuying seemed to have made up her mind and simply didn’t want to accept it.

Wang Yingjun’s determination also seemed to harden, insisting she must accept it.

Damn, this guy’s persistence in chasing girls could really be tiresome. Did his time studying abroad make him a fool? Does he not understand Traitor Wang’s tactics of indirect approach?

Ye Haochuan didn’t know how else to describe Wang Yingjun. The girl clearly didn’t want it, yet he kept pestering her—that’s just foolish. Thus, he interjected, ”Look here, Brother Handsome, Shuying’s parents didn’t have it easy, you know. They raised her from nothing, and now that they’re older, accidents can happen, and well, the jade pendant... you know...”

Giving him a hint, Wang Yingjun suddenly came to his senses, ”Right, right, right, I’m such a blockhead. Brother Haochuan, you’re absolutely right. I understand now, I understand...”

Seeing his reaction, Ye Haochuan knew he had understood the implication. Smirking, even though it was somewhat backward assistance, it eased his conscience a bit for cheating them out of a diamond ring.

However, nearby, Jiang Shuying was growing increasingly frustrated. This master was terribly wicked, way too wicked. Just a moment ago, catching her off guard with a kiss was one thing, but now trading her off for a diamond ring to someone she didn’t like? How could he?

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became. Finally, she steeled herself, thinking he wants to disregard me, huh? Watch this—I’ll expose your pretense and make it so you can’t ignore the situation.

With that in mind, she bluntly told Wang Yingjun, ”Mr. Wang, I’ll tell you the truth—I already have someone I like. Hence, I can only appreciate your kind offer, I’m sorry.”

”What? You already have someone you like?” Wang Yingjun was incredulous. ”That’s impossible, absolutely impossible. Miss Jiang, your aunt confirmed again and again with us that you are still single...”

”That’s because my aunt doesn’t know.” Jiang Shuying explained.

In that moment, Wang Yingjun’s face lost all color, and he trembled, ”Who is it, who is the one you like? I want to see who dares to compete with me for a woman?”

His last sentence was almost a roar, showing how furious he had become.

”Far in the horizon, yet close in sight,” Jiang Shuying said, feeling a mix of shyness and irritation, and glanced at Ye Haochuan.

”Is it him?” Wang Yingjun suddenly widened his eyes and stared straight at Ye Haochuan.

Seeing his female disciple directly reveal the truth, Ye Haochuan felt both admiration and helplessness. This girl is obviously not pleased with my recent antics, getting desperate, otherwise she wouldn’t have revealed it so soon.

At this thought, he had no choice but to chime in with a laugh, ”Shuying, what are you blabbering about some hard truth? Look how you’ve scared Eldest Young Master Wang! Ugh—”

Just then, Jiang Shuying unexpectedly leaned in, and her rosy red lips suddenly stamped onto his big mouth. Instantly, his brain exploded, damn, instant karma! I had just forcefully kissed her, and she immediately returned the favor with a forceful kiss of her own!

Wang Yingjun was completely stunned by the side. He could never have imagined that these two, who were clearly just ordinary friends, could suddenly change their relationship like this.

Although Jiang Shuying initiated the forceful kiss, she, being shy, quickly pulled away, and her bashful demeanor was heart-stirring.

Ye Haochuan, with his incredibly thick skin, licked his lips and said, ”Tastes good, from now on, you’re in charge of that, haha.”

”It’s all your fault for not standing up for me, I’m so annoyed,” Jiang Shuying said, clearly irate, as she moved forward to wrap her arms around his and secretly pinched him hard.

”Ye Haochuan, Jiang Shuying, dare you play me like this?” Seeing their intimate moment, Wang Yingjun was infuriated. All of a sudden, he understood all the odd behaviors Ye Haochuan had been directing at him, it all made sense now. No wonder he had been targeting him, they had been hooking up behind the scenes all along.

Damn it, what adulterer and slut?

Ye Haochuan furrowed his brow. Getting scolded himself wasn’t much of an issue, but how could Shuying, a girl, withstand such a vile label?

”I mean, Eldest Young Master Wang, to think you’ve studied abroad, and this is the class you show? If you can’t speak decently, how about I teach you a lesson today?” Ye Haochuan sneered.

”Damn it, I’ll finish you!” Wang Yingjun slammed the table, his face simultaneously contorting into something rather fierce.

Next, he leapt up and threw a punch at Ye Haochuan. He had picked up some Western boxing skills during his time studying abroad, and he was usually confident about dealing with petty thieves and hoodlums, so he felt unwarrantedly confident.

Unfortunately, he was facing Ye Haochuan, an Innate Master, and his so-called Western boxing was nothing but trash in Ye Haochuan’s eyes.

Ye Haochuan merely lifted his hand slightly, and Innate Gang Qi silently spread out, forming an invisible wall of Qi that blocked him outside. No matter how hard he tried to charge, it was futile; instead, he was rebounded back and ended up sitting on the floor with a thud.

Just then, a familiar figure flashed out. If not Wang Yan, who could it be?

Wang Yan helped Wang Yingjun up, then glared angrily at Ye Haochuan, ”You, Ye Haochuan, what are you doing? How dare you assault Young Master Wang, who gave you such audacity?”

Just now, she had been waiting impatiently outside the restroom, waiting and waiting, but Ye Haochuan didn’t come out. Growing impatient, she bravely approached the restroom door and called out, but no response came. The more she thought about it, the more something felt off, so she pleaded with a gentleman who was just about to use the restroom to check, only to be informed that Ye Haochuan was not inside at all.

Although she didn’t know how Ye Haochuan had disappeared, she was still furious to the extreme. Thus, as soon as she came out and saw Ye Haochuan using some trick to knock Young Master Wang to the ground, she exploded on the spot.

”Please, Director Wang, which of your eyes saw me hitting Eldest Young Master Wang? He fell down himself, what does it have to do with me? How about we review the tea house’s surveillance footage?” Ye Haochuan snorted.

”You...” Wang Yan was momentarily speechless, but quickly, she exploded again, ”Ye Haochuan, how despicable of you to play dirty like that, making me wait outside the restroom for so long in vain. I’ll settle this score with you sooner or later.”

Damn, playing dirty? So what? It’s already decent of me not to play you!

Ye Haochuan snorted once more.
