Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Men, wipe out this Earth Fleet directly!”

Under the orders of the semi-permanent star commander, the external fleet surged forward with increased momentum, directly charging toward the Earth Fleet.

On the Earth Fleet’s side, many Earth soldiers were shaking, some were in despair, and others almost instinctively wanted to flee.

Without Jia Yan, it was as if the great mountain that sheltered them from the storm was gone; they felt like ants at the mercy of the enemy, about to lose their lives at any moment.

Everything about the Earth people wasn’t originally in line with the level of their civilization. To put it plainly, some of them were people who had survived from the old Earth era, with thinking stuck in the primitive ground civilization, no different from natives. How could they possibly handle universal warfare thinking?

The past glories, the past prestige, everything was almost accomplished standing on ’Jia Yan’s shoulders. Now, upon losing that, they found no one standing in front to shield them, instantly panicking.

”Listen to me!”

Inside the battleship, Kari’s voice sounded.

His voice was calm, yet full of power.

”You should all know, I am an alien creature brought from the Grey-Yellow Star by Lord Assassin. Under the favor of both Lord Assassin and Lord Jia Yan, I have tread twenty years in the position of Earth Fleet’s Marshal. In these twenty years, I have witnessed Earth’s strive, witnessed Earth’s rise. I have forever fallen in love with this civilization.”

”I love Earth’s civilization. Today, with Lord Jia Yan gone, I am willing to give up everything for Earth’s civilization! Even if it means losing my life, even if it means trading my life for Earth’s freedom from the scourge of war, I am willing. Warriors, are you willing for Earth to be engulfed by this battleship’s fire?”

”No!”

”Even Marshal, an alien visitor, is unwilling. We have family on Earth, so we are naturally even more unwilling.”

Kari’s words finally brought Earth soldiers back from their terror.

”Very well, since you don’t want our homeland to be destroyed by war, now with Lord Jia Yan temporarily absent, it’s time to take the baton, to become the shield for our family and homeland... Fight!”

”Fight!”

”Fight, fight, fight, fight!”

”Roar!”

Moments ago, frightened and wanting to flee, the Earth soldiers now had red eyes, some even gritting their teeth as they left behind letters for their loved ones, sending these messages towards Earth before rushing to their posts.

The cosmic war’s distance was immensely far, so while Earth soldiers experienced much here, the enemy battleship was only just reaching 1.2 million kilometers.

And just as the opposing forces thundered closer, they fired!

Over a thousand battleships lit up with fierce cannon fire.

”Retreat, retreat, retreat. Our range is less than theirs, fight as we retreat!”

Amidst the cannon fire, a dozen Earth fleet battleships’ defensive lights were snuffed out almost instantly, then erupted into a terrible fireball.

”Spread out, our task is to buy time. Lord Jia Yan said that as long as it’s two hours, two hours later, everything will change.”

Kari within the battleship was almost glaring at the screen, continuously conducting split-force commanding operations.

His glow, though always overshadowed by Jia Yan, couldn’t shine through but his real commanding abilities were absolutely present.

The Earth Fleet lagged behind the opponent’s era by too much, but he has already formulated a strategy.

Only two hours, not much, he was pondering solutions, if there was a way, he wished to bring back as many Earth sons as possible.

As for any turnaround after two hours, he wasn’t considering it, because Lord Jia Yan... no, Lord Assassin had spoken, and so he believed without reservation!

Believe in that Lord!

”I’ll use all my abilities, even if it means death!”

Kari’s eyes turned red, and his fingers continuously moved on the screen.

The Earth Fleet, almost inadequately trained, dispersed into universe, spreading across the entire starry sky, hiding within a nearby small interstellar substance. If nearing 500,000 kilometers from the opponent, they would pop out and fire their cannons!

This terrain had always been Kari’s prepared battlefield.

In the starry sky, bursts of cannon fire were sparkling.

And this war, tens of millions of kilometers from Earth, was once again broadcasted live back to Earth through a particular signal ship.

”Ahhh! Another one. Why is Earth so weak, each battleship has at least hundreds to thousands of people, they’re our Earth’s most promising sons.”

”Damn it, I regret not passing the exam back then, otherwise I could’ve defended my home country like them.”

”Come on, Earth sons.”

Witnessing Earth battleships visibly explode one by one, then another Earth battleship immediately stepping into the exploding one’s position, blocking the enemy’s path, the entire planet’s people, went crazy.

They hated, Earth’s people were too weak, civilization level too low, otherwise, they wouldn’t lose so completely.

They hated even more, that Earth people couldn’t share even a tiny burden with Jia Yan, or else that Lord wouldn’t have disappeared, maybe already dead by now.

”If I can survive this calamity, I will strive even harder for Earth, even if it means sacrificing my life!”

”I was too complacent in the past. Without Lord Jia Yan, Earth is nothing. We’ve realized this too late.”

Earth people are almost heartbroken, but this does not help the war. They can only watch helplessly as the live broadcast shows the Earth Fleet, which was difficult to defeat in battles just outside Earth, now exploding one by one, with Earth soldiers dying one after another.

Without Jia Yan, the Earth Fleet is almost crushed.

But what the Earth people don’t know is that they are already doing well.

”Haha, foolish Earth people, they still think they can resist us without Jia Yan’s bizarre tactics. They come one by one to die, merely stalling for time!”

”Do you think stalling for time will save you? Naive, this is the naivety of a low-level civilization.”

Within that alien fleet, aboard each battleship, the creatures are like shooting targets, continuously firing cannon shots. Although Earth people’s dispersed tactics and some terrain usage have slowed down their pace a bit, they don’t care.

”This performance doesn’t even compare to the low-level civilizations we’ve wiped out before. This Earth civilization is really useless.”

On the fleet’s general commanding battleship, the Semi-permanent Star Level being casually takes a giant cup, drinks the Strong One’s Drink inside, and smiles slightly.

Facing such a battle doesn’t require his command; it’s entirely unnecessary.

”That’s right, the previous Renqi Fleet was annihilated entirely because of Earth’s Lord Jia Yan, who, astonishingly, led such a fleet to annihilate Renqi Fleet. He is indeed a respectable opponent.”

The deputy at his side spoke about Jia Yan.

”Who would say otherwise? Unfortunately, we can’t face him now. Without him, Earth people are hardly frightening.” The Semi-permanent Star creature shook his head indifferently.

”Hehe, when I investigated the history of Earth’s civilization, I found they once believed in a species called the Giant Mosquito, which was even more important in Earth’s people hearts than the so-called Jia Yan. I wonder if Earth people are praying for the appearance of the Giant Mosquito now.”

”Only an ignorant and foolish species would have beliefs. If there truly exists such a Giant Mosquito species, we would wipe them all out and see what Earth people still worship!”

”Haha, Lord, you’re still so humorous. That was just a legendary species according to Earth people, so how could it really appear? But, according to their records, who knows, it might actually exist. Even if it did, it’s too weak for us. We would just obliterate it.”

”It would only be interesting if it were stronger; otherwise, there truly isn’t any fun in this trip.”

Among the alien battleships, as they bombarded the Earth Fleet, they surprisingly chatted idly.

It seems that the Earth people fleet, in their eyes, is like children, almost devoid of any fighting desire.

Boom!

In fact, this is the truth. Each Earth people’s battleship is quickly being destroyed under the enemy’s bombardment.

Even when close to the enemy battleships, one shot isn’t enough to break through the opponent’s defense. The previous illustrious achievements of killing enemies under Jia Yan’s leadership seem like they were false.

”Can’t beat them, but will still fight! One ship for ten seconds, no, two ships for ten seconds is fine!”

”Yes, kill!”

Earth soldiers, seeing their attacks ineffective, laughed bitterly but did not retreat. According to Marshal Kari’s guidance, they attacked the enemy even more frantically.

They fight not for anything else, just because they believe.

They believe in what Lord Jia Yan had said before: in two hours—no, now it’s only an hour and a half—the tide of the war will turn!

But the opponent’s combat power completely surpasses the Earth Fleet’s capability.

Only half an hour has passed, under the almost distressed gaze of countless Earth people below the Earth’s land, more than fifteen hundred of Earth Fleet’s four thousand ships are completely destroyed, truly exploded, and all the soldiers inside perished.

”It’s over, Earth is over.”

Many Earth people managed weak, bitter smiles.

”They’re all good lads, sacrificing their lives for us ordinary people. But even so, it’s still unstoppable. Alas, bless them, we may join them soon.”

Earth people are in despair.

Countless people, at this moment, are chanting prayers to various deities.

Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, various churches.

But among these church beliefs, there is one belief far surpassing others, and in this final moment, most Earth people suddenly realize their inexplicable devotion to this peculiar belief!

”Giant Mosquito God!”

”Mosquito God Sect!”

Similar beliefs, at this hour of lost hope on Earth, almost erupted!

”Giant Mosquito clan, I was wrong back then, even spoke ill of the nobles. Please come and save us again, save our poor lads!”

”I beg the nobles, even if we die, those poor lads died too tragically, please save them, nobles.”
