Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Jia Yan faced the group of questioning high-level representatives from the aiding civilization with an unchanged expression.

He only shook his head and spoke after the chaotic scene had calmed down somewhat.

”Everyone, I have indeed known about the semi-permanent star-level entity for a long time, but I didn’t mention it. It’s not because I truly wanted to deceive you all, but because I have a way to slightly counter it.”

”What method? Do you just want to rely on that Pi over Yu Tactics? We know your Pi over Yu Tactics are formidable, but to deal with a creature at least five times stronger than you, that’s impossible, isn’t it?”

”Who says it’s impossible?!”

Jia Yan shook his head: ”You don’t know the strength of the Pi over Yu Tactics. In short, after the first battle, you will understand. If the defense line really can’t hold, anyway, it’s our Earth Fleet that stands in front, and by then, you can leave in the confusion.”

Jia Yan’s words made the high-level representatives pause, with a hint of excitement in their eyes.

Since Jia Yan said so, they certainly had to consider it.

But Jia Yan’s words were not merely to give the other party a way out; what he wanted to say was coming next.

”But if during the war, you hold back because you want a way out and don’t fight with all your strength, then I’m sorry, I, Jia Yan, am not a merciful person. If any civilization dares not to put in full effort, you have heard of my temper, and you wouldn’t want to see my revenge.”

These words made the high-level representatives of the civilizations hold their breaths.

Of course, the creatures in the Orion Arm knew Jia Yan’s temper.

Back then, to take revenge, he could single-handedly attack the Orchid Empire, and to demand compensation from the Auster Empire, he even wiped out the biochemical empire army at that time.

Revenge from such a strong one is simply terrifying, and they didn’t want to see that.

”How could we, Lord, we would never just show up without putting in the effort.”

”Exactly, Lord Jia Yan, since we are here, how could we act like that.”

Each high-level representative laughed obsequiously, but their smiles carried a hint of bitterness.

Most of the fleet leadership came here with similar thoughts; they were just taking a look at the Earth Defense Line, and if the battle situation wasn’t favorable, they wouldn’t stay. But now that Jia Yan had ruled out this retreat, they dared not disobey.

Such a strong one, even if the defense line crumbled, could still very likely survive.

Knowing that Jia Yan could exist behind enemy lines, causing trouble alone, even if the other party had a semi-permanent star level, they still believed Jia Yan could survive. If they dared to slack off, they would be retaliated against.

...

Arranging all the issues Jia Yan could think of during the war, the whole Earth Defense Line had gradually advanced, reaching the final phase of closely approaching the enemy fleet.

”Samo Ling, you said the enemy corpse sent to Earth earlier, you think it has little connection with your Biochemical Empire?”

”That’s right, the opposing biological species is nothing like us. If they were the supporters behind the Biochemical Empire or even its creators back then, then I suspect our Biochemical Empire species was created with their technology.”

During the final phase of the war, Jia Yan had a conversation with Samo Ling.

Jia Yan then understood that the Biochemical Empire back then was very likely a species created by the enemy, collecting and optimizing cells from creatures in the Orion Arm. This could explain why the Biochemical Empire’s biochemical technology was so advanced and why it appeared out of nowhere 300 years ago.

”Probably, they used 300 years to study the creatures, civilization levels, and environment inside the Orion Arm. So, this Biochemical Starfield Forces really put in a significant effort for this battle.”

Jia Yan sneered slightly.

Even if the enemy had spent 300 years and seemed to have everything under control, how could they have predicted a strong one traveling from outside in the Orion Arm?

”Lord, the enemy is now within three million kilometers, about to enter their firing range.”

Suddenly, a very tense voice contacted Jia Yan’s communication channel.

Inside the flagship of the Earth Fleet, everyone’s breathing became abruptly intense.

All present were Earth people; Jia Yan’s flagship no longer had other high-level civilization representatives.

The Earth people in this flagship had almost no experience in cosmic group warfare.

Even though Daphne had commanded warships before, compared to now, they were extremely outdated, and that experience was basically useless.

So, everyone looked toward Jia Yan.

”Don’t panic. Their extreme firing range is 1.2 million kilometers. We will deceive them to fire a volley at 1.25 million kilometers, and then use Pi over Yu Tactics.”

Jia Yan smiled faintly, seemingly not worried at all about the current situation.

As the commander, his demeanor set everyone’s mind at ease.

In fact, Jia Yan was certainly not afraid of the opponent’s battleships. He had experienced and personally destroyed a more advanced number of battleships than the current enemy combined, so there was no fear in this situation.

As both sides slowly approached, the Earth Defense Line, with over eleven thousand battleships, saw over four thousand Earth battleships emerging, leaving the major civilization fleets behind and advancing toward the front line.

Meanwhile, the major civilization battleships in the rear began to draw a distance, preparing to accelerate later as per the plan.

Simultaneously, this magnificent scene of war was broadcasted via video to the entire Solar System and beyond. Even through the special terminal quantum acceleration of the Great Empire, it spread to several distant civilizations.

Though there would be a delay in the transmission, saying that this line of defense battle affected the hearts of thousands of billions of creatures from nearby fallen or unfallen civilizations is entirely accurate.

”Haha, what kind of Earth Defense Line are they, with as many battleships as the various lines we’ve encountered before— but they are foolish enough to split into two teams, one of over four thousand leading the charge?!”

”Indeed, it is a novice civilization with no experience in cosmic warfare. Fighting such a backward civilization is an embarrassment for us. It seems we only need to dispatch two hundred battleships to annihilate them.”

On the other side of the defense line, among an external fleet of creatures, they watched as the Earth Defense Line split its forces, sending a fleet of four thousand battleships, and nearly all the creatures laughed uproariously.

Their external fleet had an overwhelming advantage. The only chance for fleets inside the Orion Arm was for an army group to come and concentrate firepower to pose a slight threat, perhaps even destroy a dozen or so. But unexpectedly, this Earth Defense Line split its forces.

”They are too backward; the maximum range is only five hundred thousand kilometers. Prepare the artillery. We will fire at one million two hundred thousand kilometers, and by the time they approach, at most only a few hundred will remain from the four thousand.”

”It’s too funny. This kind of group battle can be commanded with closed eyes. The level disparity is too great, and our command art cannot be fully utilized.”

Facing an enemy fleet ten times their number, their mindset remained as if on a tour.

Rightfully so. Their thousand battleships had broken through from the Kawai Defense Line all the way here with almost no resistance, achieving consecutive victories. Where would there be fear in facing a new round of battle?

”They’re coming. Ready at one million three hundred thousand kilometers...”

At one million three hundred thousand kilometers, the Earth Fleet, carrying the entire Earth’s hopes and the most crucial fist in the defense line, was about to engage the enemy.

This scene was watched by almost all Earth people.

People from Jia’s family watched, logistic personnel watched, workers in factories stopped to watch.

Everyone’s heart was tightly wound, almost screaming ’Come on’ in their minds.

This hastily formed Earth Fleet, facing a group battle for the first time, compared to encounters with one or two Auster or Rulan Imperial battleships, seemed like children’s play.

The only constant was the vast disparity between the sides.

One million two hundred twenty thousand kilometers!

”Come on!” Suddenly, a boy of only three years old on Earth shouted out.

”Come on!” Jia Qi shouted inside Jia’s family.

”Come on!” Jia Ruo shouted.

One million two hundred ten thousand kilometers!

”Come on!” At this distance, Jia Lin also joined in yelling.

One million two hundred thousand kilometers!!

At this instant, all Earth people in front of the screens felt a burst of blinding brightness!

The view from a universe camera behind the Earth Fleet showed the massive enemy fleet, one million two hundred thousand kilometers away, suddenly erupting in light.

The entire starry sky seemed to explode, lighting up instantly!

A thousand advanced battleships from the Outer Star Area burst into a volley of fire, with such horrific power that it seemed as if the universe had gained another sun.

Even on Mars, the sun in the sky seemed to become two at once.

One was the sun, and the other was the enemy’s volley of light.

Facing this terrifying volley were four thousand giant-like ships standing powerfully before the Earth people.

”Ahhh, come on Earth Fleet!”

All of Earth went berserk; everyone seemed to ignite like gunpowder, shouting madly.

Thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions, tens of millions!

Billions!!

All roared together!

”Come on, Earth Fleet!”

It’s not just four thousand battleships nor merely the millions of soldiers within them.

These four thousand battleships carried the hopes of billions of Earth people and were their chance for survival. At this moment, billions conveyed their heartfelt wishes and encouragement, roaring and bellowing, hoping to reach the fleet’s soldiers.

”Listen to my command...”

Amid this hysterical roaring, inside the Earth Fleet, there was utter silence.

Some might have been nervous; some were weak in the knees.

Others, pale with tension, yet none lost their composure.

Those who were nervous regained their focus at the sound reaching their ears.

This was Jia Yan’s voice, the voice of Earth’s Guardian Deity.

They realized they were fighting alongside a deity!

What was there to fear?

”Pi over Yu Tactics... commence now,” Jia Yan’s voice remained calm.
