”Don’t underestimate him, being able to find an opportunity to surrender in this situation is already the best decision he could make. Even if it were me, I wouldn’t be able to think of a better way to save my people. But, will I let it go as he wishes?” The semi-permanent star creature smiled slightly.

Jia Yan slowly approached the enemy fleet in front of him.

In this fleet, the semi-permanent star creature, whose body was several hundred meters large, also watched the slowly approaching Earth person.

The appearance of Jia Yan’s avatar looked just like an ordinary Earth person, his features not easily understood by other species, appearing very common overall.

Moreover, within his body, the Power of the Venerable flickered with a hidden pulse, nearly collapsing below that of the venerable level, indicating how severe his injuries were.

”The troublesome existence we’re fighting against is merely this so-called honored being... Sigh, if this Jia Yan weren’t a strong one inside the Orion Arm, perhaps we could have accommodated him.”

The semi-permanent star creature shook his head a bit regretfully, but soon his eyes flickered with a terrifying killing intent.

Things don’t have ifs; even if Jia Yan chose to surrender, once he got close, he would reveal his assassin, directly killing this unstable number one expert in the Orion Arm!

An honored being’s surrender, even a suspected genius one, wouldn’t make him hold back, after all, this genius was a variable, and surely had hatred against their forces.

On Jia Yan’s side, it was unclear what emotions showed in his demeanor, keeping his head down while quickly approaching.

Soon after, he flew to the front of the opposing battleship.

The gunner on the first battleship wanted to fire at him, but considering that the opponent might not necessarily die, he mockingly let Jia Yan pass.

The second battleship, the third battleship, the fourth...

Jia Yan slowly lifted his head as he flew past each battleship.

In his gaze, as he got closer to the semi-permanent star creature, a unique sharp gleam belonging to the strong became increasingly bright.

If one could see his gaze clearly, they would understand that this strong one would definitely not surrender.

”Humph, this guy sure has a plan. But standing before me, what can he scheme?”

The semi-permanent star level creature noticed the look in Jia Yan’s avatar’s eyes, understanding that Jia Yan wouldn’t honestly surrender, but he showed no caution. After all, an honored being, especially a wounded one, even if legendary top genius, should have no resistance before a semi-permanent star-level strength.

”Jia Yan, your willingness to surrender is excellent.”

Jia Yan flew within merely a few hundred meters of the semi-permanent strong one, close enough that the opponent could reach him with an outstretched hand.

”Lord, did I ever say I would surrender?”

The cold gleam in Jia Yan’s eyes grew unprecedentedly bright at this moment.

”Heh, then what’s your purpose in coming here? Do you think that as you are now, you can assassinate me?” The semi-permanent star creature also showed coldness in his gaze.

Then his arm swung toward Jia Yan like a terrifying human-sized hand: ”Since you won’t surrender, then die for me!”

The opponent attacked fiercely, almost several times Jia Yan’s avatar’s speed; at such speed, the avatar couldn’t avoid it at all.

”That’s right, I’m here to assassinate you.”

Jia Yan smiled, and then beside him, a black sphere emerged directly from subspace.

This black hole was transported from deep within subspace; even the opponent’s detection tools hadn’t noticed it.

And now its whole surface echoed with a rumbling sound, the space stone controlling it constantly shifting, causing spatial vibrations inside the black hole, teetering on the verge of eruption.

”I knew you’d choose this move, Jia Yan, you’ve forgotten that this black hole was made by a subordinate of my Biochemical Empire, didn’t you? We have the ability to create it, and the ability to prevent it from self-detonating!”

That semi-permanent star creature seemed to have predicted Jia Yan’s action, laughing loudly while his brainwave power activated, triggering certain staff in the battleship to press specific control buttons.

Indeed, he understood that the only tactics left for Jia Yan now, besides charging the battleships with self-destruction to perish together, involved this black hole detonation, a technology originating from their starfield, still well remembered by him.

Jia Yan shook his head amidst his opponent’s wild laughter.

”You predicted I might self-destruct the black hole, but not preventing it, is your greatest mistake.”

As Jia Yan spoke, he lightly stepped back into the space behind him.

Incredibly, he crashed directly into the black hole!

Boom!!

At that moment, his entry seemingly worsened the instability within the black hole, and the opponent’s black hole technology seemed to have immediately failed.

Indeed...

Jia Yan truly had no other choice now; the decision he made was to...

Trigger the avatar’s space talent, crash into the black hole, causing this artificial black hole to explode directly with his body!

At this moment, inside the entire Earth Battleship, a group of soldiers, through ultra-long lenses zooming in, watched this scene and almost simultaneously cried out in grief.

At this moment, on broadcast TV all over Earth, everyone saw this last moment of Jia Yan’s self-sacrifice, almost everyone shedding tears.

Lord Jia Yan was so resolute for Earth.

And just as everyone didn’t have time to express more emotions, the semi-permanent star-level being, also because he never thought Jia Yan would make such a decision.

As Jia Yan’s avatar crashed into the artificial black hole, it exploded with a loud bang!

Black hole explosion, Jia Yan had done it once before, and this time was the second time.

Although this black hole was not more formidable than the previous one, it was not far off, knowing that the previous one could severely injure high-level semi-permanent star registrants, cause countless intermediate semi-permanent star registrants to die, and even lead to the entire stretch of the starry sky being destroyed, this black hole, even if lesser, definitely wouldn’t differ by much.

Moreover, Jia Yan had moved into the very center of the opponent’s fleet; now the black hole explosion was absolutely inconceivably powerful.

In the universe starry sky, there was first a faint collapse of black, which then shrank, and within a billionth of a second, exploded violently!

The entire starry sky seemed like space was shattered, and heaven and earth shook.

In the not-too-distant Earth Fleet, battleship after battleship was pushed away at the moment of explosion, the furious power made one ship after another seem like tiny boats in a storm, almost capsizing.

Even on Earth, hundreds of thousands of kilometers away, people felt the gale coming from the distant interstellar reach, with even local disasters appearing on Earth, fortunately, due to the distance, these disasters were not at a terrifying level.

And at the explosion’s center, it was like waves upon waves constantly washing over by the power.

Enemy ships, like no longer powerful external battleships, fiercely exploded, and none could withstand for a second before breaking apart.

A thousand battleships, in less than two seconds, were completely annihilated.

And that semi-permanent star-level being flying in the starry sky, at the moment Jia Yan’s body crashed into the black hole, already had a ringing alarm in his mind, wanting to turn around and flee, but his speed was not nearly as fast as the explosion’s.

If he were a secondary space ability holder, he might have had a slight possibility to escape, but unfortunately, he wasn’t. Didn’t even fly out for one second before the explosion arrived behind him!

”Dammit...” This semi-permanent star-level strong one almost spat his last words of frustration.

Knowing beforehand that Jia Yan might trigger the black hole, but never calculated that Jia Yan would be so resolute, directly crashing into the black hole.

Even if he could calculate, he would not think that Jia Yan could truly crack the program controlling the black hole; knowing generally, creatures even if crash into the black hole to self-detonate would have no stopping effect.

Without more time to think, the explosion’s shock wave reached his body, along with the battleship wreckage yet to be vaporized, almost instantly shattered his entire body.

Wave after wave of energy impacts, the entire starry sky’s agitation was unending.

Just over a minute afterward, at the energy agitation site did it finally slowly calm down.

And some of the Earth Fleet’s warships, even while energy was still raging, couldn’t hold back, despite the noodle man substituting command constantly prohibiting them, they still charged into the energy turbulence without regard for danger.

Battleship after battleship rushed into the high temperature, the battleship’s surface energy defense layers were being worn away, alarms inside repeatedly sounding.

Yet they paid no heed, trembling all over, eyes red, tears continually flowing.

”Lord Jia Yan! Lord Jia Yan... How could it be like this. How is it possible!”

”Impossible, the Lord is so powerful, how could he die here, I don’t believe it!”

”Ahhh!”

Almost every soldier had been training and fighting alongside Jia Yan for a long time, this long duration not only did not decrease their respect for Jia Yan but rather deepened these feelings because the person was more real, and now seeing Jia Yan sacrifice himself, triggering the black hole explosion to eradicate the enemy, their hearts trembled.

Not only Earth soldiers here, but on Earth, one by one Earth people almost couldn’t believe their eyes, tears rolling from their cheeks, then along their faces rolling to the ground.

Yet they couldn’t even bother to wipe them away.

Tens of billions of people watched this scene on TV and media, that bleak battlefield, only remaining enemy battleship fragments making them realize that Jia Yan, beloved by Earth people, actually in this Earth defense war, sacrificed himself, died protecting Earth!

”I don’t believe it! The Lord definitely didn’t die!”

”Lord Jia Yan, why would it be this way.”

”Heavenly Dao is unjust, heavenly Dao is unjust!”

All over Earth, those stomping their feet were stomping, those weeping loudly were weeping, even some directly fainted.

Always, because of Jia Yan’s existence, Earth had achieved its status, and because of Jia Yan’s existence, it hadn’t been attacked by other civilizations, and even previously could evade annihilation when Auster Empire warships arrived.

But now, this hero of all had actually died in yet another crisis during battle?!
