Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1514: Chapter 22: Surrender! [Please subscribe to the official version]

”Encountering Jia Yan, you must not be careless.”

The large creature, reaching over three hundred meters, retrieved such a communication letter and glanced at the star chart panel before him.

”Lord, we’re nearing Earth, and throughout this journey, we haven’t seen any particularly advanced technology. They haven’t even detected us. What is so peculiar about this Earth that necessitates us sending three fleets with Semi-permanent Star Level strong ones to besiege it?”

The creature that had just read the communication casually looked at his questioning subordinate and then shook his head.

”The headquarters are in chaos due to Jia Yan; it seems they fear him. However, we have nothing to do with several military routes, so coming to this Solar System for a meeting is also good. In any case, hurry it up. I don’t want others eating meat while we drink soup.”

This conversation’s creature was aboard an extremely large battleship, with over a thousand similar battleships surrounding it.

This is yet another terrifying Biochemical Starfield Forces battleship!

...

”What? Intelligence system detected another fleet rapidly approaching Earth, and the identification signal indicates they’re enemies?”

Jia Yan was startled upon hearing this news.

”That’s right, and Mars just sent word that the defensive battle isn’t going well; the entire defense line is on the brink of collapse.” The communications soldier looked pale, his expression almost one of despair.

In the battle here on Earth, they used human lives to push the enemy out of the range that could threaten Earth, only to hear news of another fleet with similar combat power arriving at Earth.

Mars is even worse off; some enemy warships are said to have landed on the cities on Mars’ surface and carried out massacres.

This Biochemical Starfield Forces dispatched three fleets for Earth’s civilization; with only one fleet, the Earth people might have actually had a chance to defeat them.

Despair, this is the kind of situation being described?

The command personnel inside the command ships were all silent, with almost everyone feeling an unprecedented pressure.

”Don’t rush to be afraid; tell me, how long until that newly arrived fleet reaches us?”

Suddenly, a strange light flashed in Jia Yan’s eyes; he stopped thinking too much and asked the intelligence soldier directly.

The soldier immediately lowered his head to check, then raised it.

”Lord, based on their current speed, they will arrive at Earth’s east in approximately eight hours.”

Eight hours!?

Upon hearing this time, the light in Jia Yan’s eyes grew increasingly bright.

”Despite this, there is still a two-hour time gap, there’s no other way but to fight...”

Jia Yan murmured a few times, then looked at the battlefield before him.

The opposing fleet seemingly realized that the Earth Fleet was not easily handled and gradually retreated while fighting.

Although during the previous Earth defense battle, the Earth people sacrificed battleships dozens of times greater, it was to exchange for the safety of Earth. Now that Earth is out of their artillery fire’s attack range, the Earth Fleet, which can enter subspace, becomes an extremely difficult existence to deal with.

”But they should have received news of our other fleet’s presence by now, likely causing morale throughout the entire fleet to plummet; they might not even resist our few attacks coming up.”

”But there’s no rush; I’ll drag it out until the other side’s formidable fleet arrives and vanquishes Earth together, otherwise this fleet of mine will be too damaged, and I’ll suffer losses when it’s time for merit and rewards.”

In the enemy’s fleet, the presence of the Semi-permanent star exuded a mysterious intent in its eyes, deciding not to rush to annihilate the Earth Fleet, knowing that if he acted now, his fleet would surely not benefit.

After all, their opponent’s stronghold is here; they can’t escape. Once the other fleet arrives for a joint attack, the Earth Fleet, the Earth, will be effortlessly slaughtered by them.

But just as the Semi-permanent star was contemplating actions, the Earth Fleet had already made a decision.

A tiny figure slowly emerged from the flagship-led battleship of the Earth Fleet.

”Hmm?”

Inside the Biochemical Starfield Forces fleet, the Semi-permanent star creature was slightly stunned, then revealed a hint of curiosity.

”This Jia Yan actually left the command ship? It’s said only he can conduct this tactic through command. If I seize this moment to fly out and decapitate him, wouldn’t the battle easily conclude?”

This Semi-permanent star creature’s face slightly brightened, filled with temptation.

But he didn’t expect that the diminutive creature flying out of the battleship didn’t go to another battleship or elsewhere, instead boldly flying slowly toward the center of the battlefield.

”What? What on earth is Jia Yan planning?”

The Semi-permanent star creature’s expression suddenly changed; he doubted the famed Orion Arm’s strongest Jia Yan would do anything mindless. Seeing his unusual behavior now, he was extremely alert.

”Biochemical Starfield Forces, I am Jia Yan.”

As they arrived at a place where the distance between the two fleets was merely a few kilometers, Jia Yan spoke up.

A creature directed an inquisitive voice at the semi-permanent star creature aboard the command flagship, and after pondering for a moment, the semi-permanent star creature shook its head.

It was not planning to attack Jia Yan but wanted to see what the seriously injured foremost strong one of the Orion Arm intended to do in such a desperate situation.

”You have come to visit our Earth civilization, and I express my gratitude. However, your actions have been somewhat overbearing, which I’m sure you are aware of. If the war continues this way, the casualties will only be among the soldiers from both sides. I have a suggestion here: why don’t we both pause the battle for a period and discuss any terms? Even if it means Earth has to surrender, it’s not an untouchable topic. What do you think?”

”Surrender? Is this Jia Yan actually thinking about surrendering?”

Within the enemy fleet, the semi-permanent star creature was momentarily stunned, a strange cold light flashing in its eyes.

”Lord, this Jia Yan definitely has some trick up his sleeve. I reckon it’s better to take this opportunity to directly kill him.”

The adjutant near the semi-permanent star commander shared his suggestion.

”Is he planning to surrender? If he does surrender, he could provide us with the Pi over Yu tactics of the subspace group, which would be like a tiger gaining wings for our forces. If we can really subdue him, it might be a great achievement for me?”

”Moreover, Earth is not an easy target. If he really wants to stubbornly resist us, there’s a chance our fleet might suffer substantial damage.”

The more the semi-permanent star creature thought about it, the more it felt correct.

No matter how one considered it, it couldn’t fathom any possible conspiracy from Jia Yan against them.

In the face of absolute power, any conspiracy is rendered ineffective.

”Jia Yan, feel free to tell us how you plan to surrender.”

The semi-permanent star creature casually spoke from within the enemy battleship.

Its brainwave power was far more formidable, surpassing that of Jia Yan’s voice manifold times, causing the watching Earth soldiers at the rear to change their expressions drastically.

”Lord Jia Yan was rash. The semi-permanent star strong one on the other side is surely much stronger than the current lord. If he directly kills the lord, not only will the lord perish, but without the Pi over Yu tactics, our fleet is bound for extinction as well.”

”Sigh, what kind of tactic is it the lord is using? No matter how I look at it, there seems to be no chance.”

”You’re doubting the lord? Ha, with your intelligence, you want to understand the lord’s combat plan? If you were that capable, you would be Lord Jia Yan. Just wait, the lord will surely bring us good news.”

Under the gaze of a variety of creatures, a semi-permanent star creature similarly appeared at the enemy battleship’s location.

A group of Earth people looked at this creature, nearly trembled in their demeanor.

The previously seen external secondary-level creature was already a massive creature beyond the imagination of Earth people, but this semi-permanent star presence was actually larger than that secondary-level, with a height of over 300 meters, head to tail being over 400 meters, taller than a small mountain peak on Earth.

However, Jia Yan did not exhibit any signs of surprise, and upon seeing the opponent’s appearance, he even seemed to feel a slightly relieved look in his eyes.

The opponent seemed able to sense Jia Yan’s demeanor, slightly narrowing its giant monstrous eye from thousands of kilometers away.

”Jia Yan, tell us what sincerity you have for surrendering.”

”I am willing to offer my Pi over Yu tactics, as well as some treasures I obtained in the outer star area, such as the star core.”

”Pi over Yu tactics, star core!?”

After hearing Jia Yan’s words, the semi-permanent star creature’s gaze once again flashed with a strange light.

It scrutinized Jia Yan up and down, then revealed a cold smile: ”I thought you, as the so-called first strong one of the Orion Arm, were native. Turns out you have also been to our outer world.”

”Of course, I have indeed visited several external star areas, aware that beings like you at the semi-permanent star level are beyond my capacity to contend with,” Jia Yan replied amiably from afar.

”Naturally, but you are quite capable, able to slay our force’s secondary level despite having only the body of honorable. Apart from your space talent, your inherent talent is probably commendable,” the opponent rarely praised Jia Yan.

Jia Yan exchanged some polite gestures with the opponent.

”Alright, Jia Yan, if you’re truly sincere, then come to my battleship personally, and then I will trust you,” the opponent calmly suggested, glancing at Jia Yan.

”Uh, this... isn’t good,” Jia Yan hesitated, speaking somewhat apprehensively.

”Whether it’s good or not isn’t for you to decide! Since you want to surrender, yet can’t even offer this bit of sincerity, there is no need to discuss further.” The semi-permanent star creature sneered, then turned away: ”Negotiations have failed. All battleships... commence fire!”

Each external battleship lit up with the main cannon’s glow.

”No! I’ll go! Lord, I choose to trust you, but please don’t break your promise,” Jia Yan hastily shouted aloud.

Then he dejectedly hung his head down, reluctantly drifting towards the enemy fleet.

Beside the semi-permanent star strong one on the enemy battleship, there was an additional pinnacle of space deputy.

”Hehe, seems like the so-called foremost strong one of the Orion Arm isn’t much. Lord, our previous assessment of Jia Yan appears to have been too high.”
