Jia Yan doesn’t have the slightest bit of feelings for Samo Ling at the moment.

”Alright, we can talk about our matters slowly. I know your lifespan is very long because of your strength, and my lifespan as a Perfect Level biochemical being is also long. We have a lot of time in the future... Let’s talk about something else.”

Samo Ling looked at Jia Yan, and the expression in her eyes made Jia Yan’s heart skip a beat. It was as if her eyes were saying: I’m sticking with you!

But she didn’t say it out loud.

”I know what you came to ask me isn’t just about the matter between us. There must be something else, right?” Samo Ling asked.

Jia Yan was startled. She knew his real intention?

He was slightly embarrassed: ”That’s right, my main purpose in coming here was to ask about the affairs of your Biochemical Empire. The news from the Auster Empire probably hasn’t reached here yet. Your Biochemical Empire has conquered the Auster Empire for quite some time now. I can see that the Biochemical Empire is very strong, seemingly not as simple as I thought before. Can you tell me about it?”

Samo Ling also fell into a light ponder upon hearing Jia Yan’s words.

”I was born and raised on Grey-Yellow Star, a native of Biochemical Empire, so I’m not very familiar with the Biochemical Empire itself. Now that you’ve mentioned it, I realize that our Biochemical Empire seems somewhat indifferent to the wars in this starfield. Even my father has a perfunctory attitude towards the war on Grey-Yellow Star.”

”Oh, do you know if your Biochemical Empire has an even larger force in the extraterrestrial domain?” Jia Yan quickly asked this question.

In fact, this was the very question Jia Yan wanted to ask Samo Ling today. The power of the Biochemical Empire was like a thorn stuck in his throat, causing him discomfort.

Earth people are on the path of development, but if any problems arise from the Biochemical Empire, the many years of Earth people’s efforts could go up in smoke, and the entire species could even be annihilated!

Jia Yan had to be cautious.

”I don’t understand this very well either.” However, Samo Ling seemed puzzled, and her expression didn’t look feigned.

But it didn’t take long for her to seem to think of something.

”But my father said that the real territories of the Biochemical Empire lie beyond the Orion Arm, where there are incomparably powerful emperors. As a child, I always took it as a story, but if our empire is really as formidable as you say, then perhaps what my father said is true.”

Hearing Samo Ling’s words, Jia Yan fell silent.

At that moment, he suddenly thought of many things.

He had been thinking all along about the relation between the Biochemical Empire and that ’great existence of the Insect Clan’ that was paying attention to him. But now that he thought about it, these were actually two different forces. These two great forces were allied in the Orion Arm, but that didn’t mean they were closely related in the outside world.

Moreover, there were traces to follow in the history of the Biochemical Empire. Many of its high officials grew up inside the Orion Arm, whereas the Insect Clan was different, they seemed to have appeared out of nowhere before forming an alliance with the Biochemical Empire to wage war together in the Orion Arm.

”If I’m not mistaken, the perspectives of the Biochemical Empire and the Insect Clan in the Orion Arm are different! If the Biochemical Empire has a huge force in the outside world, then their presence in the Orion Arm is merely for refining their juniors, or even just to nurture a new generation. Even if they launch an offensive, it will be like last time, the powerful beings behind them don’t care.”

The more Jia Yan thought, the more convinced he became. At least previously, it was this giant moth creature of the Insect Clan that pursued his Earth power, and then made a Galactic Grade Existence take notice of him.

”If that’s the case, the threat from the Biochemical Empire shouldn’t be significant!”

After thinking for a bit, Jia Yan came to this conclusion. After all, if the other party doesn’t care about this starfield, even if they want to attack, they would only send beings below Stellar level to do so, just like that black and white big goose attacking the Auster Empire.

By the time they realize that there’s a threat in the Orion Arm that could grow to Stellar level, Jia Yan’s true body might have already reached that level!

By then, he will be fearless! Even if he can’t defeat a Galactic Grade Existence, couldn’t he take the Earth people and run?

If he delays further and Jia Yan reaches Upper Celestial Level or even Star River level...

What would he have to fear then? At that time, he could sit on an equal footing with other Galactic Grades and no longer need to worry about any danger!

Thinking this, Jia Yan nodded to himself, having clarified his future path and thoughts.

”Are you going to leave?”

Seeing Jia Yan’s expressions fluctuating for a while before suddenly brightening, Samo Ling asked as if she could read his mind.

”Yes, thank you for your answers. I will seriously consider the matter concerning you and the child,” Jia Yan nodded his head.

”Alright, hopefully you become even stronger.” Samo Ling seemed like she had more to say, but she couldn’t spit it out, her eyes only blinking at Jia Yan with some complex emotions.

Jia Yan nodded again, then stood up to leave the place.

Although a bit embarrassed, he still doesn’t feel much for this female, after all, she was once a monster, and though Jia Yan’s real self is also a monster, he cannot accept it.

”Well, it’s time to talk to my family and then find a place to quietly focus my heart and mind on my true body.”

Jia Yan felt that the power of his avatar had weakened a lot. After years of constant rushing and battling, even though he had been conserving his energy, his current strength had still dropped to around the High-space Level. Although this level of strength still allowed him to kill enemies above his own level, even slaying a Dignitary, it was a significant decline nevertheless.

He now needed to find a place, quietly protect this power, and wait until things stabilized with his True Body before venturing out again.

After Jia Yan left Samo Ling’s house, Jia Rong came out of his room and looked at his mother. Others might not comprehend her expression, but he understood it clearly.

She was very lonely. Especially after watching many Earth people’s films and television works, she became even more melancholic.

”Mom, has he gone?” Jia Rong asked.

”Yes, don’t blame your father. There were reasons for everything that happened back then. It’s all my fault...” Samo Ling didn’t tell Jia Rong about the past, afraid that the child would be unhappy if he knew.

”It’s not your fault at all. Just wait and see, I will become stronger as soon as possible. When I defeat him in the future, I’ll make him acknowledge you!” Jia Rong’s small face was full of unrestrained anger.

His power had already reached the Mid Celestial Level, and under the surge of rage this time, it seemed there was a sign of breaking through to the Upper Celestial Level!

Like father, like son—although Jia Yan’s Beast evolution gift was not inherited by Jia Rong, his cultivation speed was not slow at all!

Of course, trying to catch up with Jia Yan was not just difficult, it was... practically impossible!

The talent of an Evolutionary Creature was already heaven-defying, yet Jia Yan had still experienced so much life and death to reach this point. Jia Rong, who had not experienced much, could he really surpass Jia Yan by sheer effort?!

Jia Yan, not far from the house, even though he didn’t wish to listen, could still hear the child’s words. How determinedly he uttered them, it was hard not to hear.

”Ha... this child.” Jia Yan sighed, but he didn’t think too much of it. Even though he didn’t want to acknowledge the child, the similarity in their stubborn temperaments still made him feel that they were indeed very much alike.

”Uncle Jiu!”

When Jia Yan arrived at Jia Lin’s house, he sensed a different kind of meaning. Unlike Jia Rong, the two little nieces were still childlike, running and playing.

Although Jia Ruo was young, she already possessed Brainwave Power. Her little feet pattered on the floor, running fast with the enhancement of Brainwave Power, while Jia Qi who was ahead of her was flying. The two little ones were playing a game of tag.

Upon Jia Yan’s arrival, Jia Qi almost immediately pounced over.

”Uncle Jiu!”

Jia Yan had just caught her when another little one crawled at his feet—Jia Ruo also came rushing over.

Children are like that, as long as you treat them kindly, they’ll immediately cling to you. Jia Ruo might not remember Jia Yan from two years ago, but she knew Jia Yan was kind to her. After meeting a few times, she became familiar with him and, like her sister, grew incredibly fond of Jia Yan.

”Sis, as soon as you arrive, they don’t want me anymore. I’m so jealous.”

Jia Lin, seeing her daughters cling to Jia Yan like koalas, one after the other hanging onto his neck, smiled helplessly.

She didn’t understand why the children behaved this way, maybe because they knew that the greatest person in the house was their uncle. Seeing him was like seeing their dearest person, holding on and refusing to let him go.

”Hehe, after today you won’t have to worry about it anymore. I’ll be going into closed-door cultivation for a while.”

Jia Yan looked at his sister with amusement.

Jia Lin was already over thirty, but still resembled a teenager, her face only slightly more mature. If people from decades ago saw her, they might even think she was a girl under twenty.

Of course, this was partly because Jia Lin knew how to take care of herself, but the main reason was that the genetics of Earth people as a whole had changed. With medical science nurtured by extraterrestrial technology, human lifespan had greatly increased. Some scientists predicted that this generation of Earth people in their twenties and thirties would reach lifespans of around one hundred and seventy years, and those with Earth-level ability would certainly live beyond two hundred years.

Therefore, Jia Lin still looked like a teenage girl, which was quite normal. Even with Earth’s strongest medical care and medical scientists from the Ru Lan Empire coming over, she might even live beyond three hundred years.

Not just her, the whole Jia family was like this.

”Brother, are you going to close-door cultivation? Just like in the novels? That’s so impressive. No wonder you are so powerful.” Jia Lin didn’t understand the matters of the Strong Ones and merely marveled.

Hearing that her brother wasn’t going away far, she wasn’t worried.

She didn’t know that this brother was just an Avatar.

After greeting Jia Lin’s family, Jia Yan went to visit his parents.

”Mom and Dad, I have to go into closed-door cultivation again for a while. Please take good care of yourselves. The medical scientists from the Ru Lan Empire have also arrived recently. If you feel unwell, make sure to tell them.”

Jia Yan had a similar conversation with his parents.
