Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1219: Chapter 6 Daphne’s Current Situation [Subscribe to the Official Version Please]

Among the vast starry sky, a fleet of spaceships and battleships that looked far from advanced moved slowly through space.

This was a group of interstellar spaceships.

It was composed of a large variety of ships, and although there were some battleships among them, it would be an overstatement to call it a fleet; at most, it could only be called a fleet of ships.

However, this fleet of vessels, large and small, despite not having the best spaceships or equipment, still navigated stubbornly through space.

In the vast universe, they seemed to have been flying for a very long time.

Some ships were linked together by metal, some battleships seemed to have lost power long ago, or even might have been broken, now serving merely as living spaces, being towed by other battleships.

Among this group of ships was one particularly large two-kilometer vessel where tens of thousands of creatures lived.

A large number of creatures huddled together; the huge ship housed many creatures, but each one was skin and bones, some had even starved to death, who after simple funerals, were cast into the starry sky.

These creatures survived on simple synthetic food every day, but due to insufficient energy on the ship, they could not activate a powerful temperature control system, and it was extremely cold.

This was another reason why many creatures froze to death.

Today, a group of creatures gathered, as they did at this time every day, waiting for something.

”Hello, everyone, dinner is served.”

A petite and charming young girl walked out from one side of the ship.

She appeared in mid-air on the ship, walking and hopping along.

At the same time, the little girl began to sing.

”To those faraway people...”

”Do you know the fragrance of green grass, do you know the warmth of the earth.”

”Do not lose hope, do not lose motivation.”

”...”

As the little girl sang, a boy of about her age followed behind, his face alert, fingers on the handle of a knife at his waist, calmly watching the creatures below.

Meanwhile, behind them, rows of beings pushing carts also hurried out.

The creatures on the ground surged forward like they were seeing gold and diamonds, desperate to get their hands on what was in the carts.

”Please, don’t fight over it,” called out the little girl from above in a soft voice.

Under her call, the noisy creatures paused a bit, but they still continued to squeeze forward frantically.

It turned out that the carts contained something like porridge, synthetic food of an unappetizing color and taste, which might dampen the appetite of Earth people within days.

But the creatures here looked at the food as if it was the finest of delicacies.

Some creatures were instead enjoying the song of the little beauty above. They didn’t push or fight, because everyone knew the food distribution was absolutely fair.

The voice of the girl above, though often heard and grown weary of, was genuinely pleasant to the ears. Some creatures felt uncomfortable without their daily dose of her singing.

”Lulu! Keep it up!” These beings shouted as if looking up at an idol, admiring the little girl jumping and singing above.

Finally, after a long process of food distribution, this level’s proceedings came to an end.

And the little girl, still singing, went on to another battleship level.

This was how the creatures living in this battleship made it through each day.

But in another place on this huge ship, there was a different scene.

Here, various elite beings with cold expressions walked from post to post. They were the strong ones or those with certain skills, relatively scarce within the fleet.

In this small fleet, there was also a complete operating system, like a small world. And this place was the central point of the entire small world, the command center of the entire fleet.

”How much further is Earth?”

A pleasant voice emanated from the command center.

The speaker was a female with fiery red hair and delicate, charming features, an allure that could captivate anyone.

Of course, this beauty had little effect on creatures of other species.

”Lord, we mentioned three days ago that we are approaching the edge of the Solar System; if the calculations are not extremely wrong, perhaps we could reach Earth in three months.”

”Only three months left, huh? Sigh.” The beautiful woman with flaming red hair shook her head helplessly.

”Lord, after a long and arduous journey, our Earth power has reached this place. Is it really right to come to Earth? It’s said that Lord Assassin is no longer on Earth. The last communication was two or three years ago; we don’t even know if Earth has been wiped out by the Ru Lan Empire’s semi-battle-class carriers.”

A monster stood by the side of the beautiful woman, speaking with some dissatisfaction.

On the other side, a Frog Monster also expressed its discontent.

”It’s true, if Earth is already gone, our power, having come a long way across the stars, might end up walking right into the enemy’s attack upon arrival, falling into their trap.”

The two deputies were somewhat discontent with the beautiful woman, but they also somewhat feared her personal strength. Coupled with a faction of loyal followers within the fleet, the fleet still made it to the Solar System.

”Heh...” The beautiful woman merely gave the two deputies a cold glance, sending shivers down their spines.

After all, over the years, the beautiful woman’s handling of the entire fleet had broadened their horizons; offending her, no one knew what kind of punishment would ensue.

”Alright, I have my own plans for everything.” The beautiful woman waved her hand somewhat helplessly, signaling her subordinates to leave the command room.

The so-called command room was also the dwelling of the great beauty.

Space within the fleet was extremely tight, to lead by example, she was the first to save space.

And looking at the whole fleet, the name, it seemed, was on the tip of the tongue!

Yes!

This was a power established by Jia Yan back in the day; it also witnessed the rise of Jia Yan, the Big Mosquito, from the Grey-Yellow Star.

Beings from the Grey-Yellow Star, creatures that had either joined or been forced into the Earth power, were still barely surviving within the fleet!

Although there had been deaths, there were also births; a wave of little monsters were even attending school established within the fleet.

Even without Jia Yan, the fleet that should have fallen apart was still under the control of this great beauty.

This showed the mastery of her methods.

And the name of this great beauty was none other than the bio-engineered beauty that left a deep impression on Jia Yan—’Daphne’!

After many years, Daphne seemed to remain unchanged; she was still as beautiful, and her figure was still as attractive.

As the first to engage in conversation with Jia Yan, especially plotting against him, and bringing him a series of opportunities, Daphne’s impression on Jia Yan had always been vivid.

Now, this great beauty, faithful to Jia Yan’s orders, has controlled the Earth power’s fleet for over a decade, making the distant voyage from Grey-Yellow Star to the Solar System.

The purpose is to come to the aid of the Earth people, to help them fend off the ’semi-battle-class carriers’ of the Ru Lan Empire.

But what they don’t know is, what kind of threat is there from any ’semi-battle-class carriers’ on Earth now?

The current ’semi-battle-class carrier’ has long become a research object for Earth’s scientists; if anything, it has already become a boon to the Earth people.

The fleet of Earth power has no idea about this; they don’t know that every extreme long-distance communication with Earth requires the use of the old Gravity Wave System, each time consuming astronomical amounts of energy, and a fleet barely able to produce food can not afford to communicate anymore.

”It’s said to be three months to Earth, but isn’t it just half a month to the edge of the Solar System? Once we’re there, we can use radio communication to check the current situation on Earth.”

Daphne looked into the distant Starry Sky with some concern; the main stellar Sun of the Solar System shone brighter than other stars in front of her beautiful pupils, indicating the fleet’s proximity.

Daphne felt tired; despite controlling the entire fleet, such constant scheming occurred daily, and after all these years, several factions had formed within the fleet. Her subordinates, each with considerable power, were very difficult for her to deal with.

Now Daphne only hoped that her group of subordinates wouldn’t turn traitor just when they were about to rush to the aid of Earth.

As Daphne continued to ponder these concerns within the fleet,

A superfast Aircraft, much faster than the fleet, sped towards the ragtag fleet like a beam of light from behind.

Inside this super small Aircraft was a young man resembling Earth people; the familiar sight of the approaching broken fleet brought back a flood of memories.

”This fleet, it really hasn’t changed much from ten years ago. I didn’t expect Daphne to actually keep her promise to me and come to the Solar System...”

The man piloting the superfast Aircraft was naturally Jia Yan.

At this moment, Jia Yan looking at the forward-moving fleet seemed missing a few ships, but the remaining ones were very familiar, though compared to ten years ago, they looked even more broken.

The two sides were separated by more than a hundred kilometers, but the fleet was completely unaware of Jia Yan’s Aircraft.

After examining the fleet ahead, Jia Yan directly took control of the Aircraft and dashed towards them!

His Aircraft was much faster, and he quickly arrived at the back of the fleet.

Here, the entire fleet’s detection System still hadn’t discovered Jia Yan’s Space Cabin.
