Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1227: Chapter 14 Encounter with Interstellar Pirates Again【Burst Update 2/3】

In the Orion Arm Star Field, there are not many powerful empires, and due to distance, some are even unaware of each other’s existence.

Aside from the Ru Lan Empire, there is the Auster Empire, a powerful empire with comparable strength!

Another formidable empire, feared as a formidable enemy by all surrounding empires for its exceedingly terrifying combat power, is the Biochemical Empire!

On the border of the Auster Empire, fifteen light-years away from the Empire Capital Star of the Auster Empire, a fast-moving spacecraft flashed through the universe like streaming light, swiftly appearing and then vanishing into space.

This was Jia Yan’s space cabin.

It has only been a little more than half a month since he departed from the Capital Star of the Ru Lan Empire aboard the space cabin.

If the creatures of the Orion Arm knew of Jia Yan’s flying ability, they would probably be incredibly shocked. After all, the envoy groups of the two great empires used the fastest spacecraft of their respective empires, yet it would take them decades to travel back and forth.

Yet Jia Yan had reached the border between the two great empires in just over half a month, which was alarmingly fast.

”The Auster Empire consists of creatures with appearances similar to humans. In this nation, technology is slightly more advanced than in the Ru Lan Empire, and everything places emphasis on practicality.”

Jia Yan was reading materials related to the Auster Empire.

After some time, however, his expression turned somewhat odd.

It turned out that the Auster Empire was not like he had imagined; similar to the Northern Star Domain, the entire empire was embroiled in conflict.

This empire was indeed an empire, and all the powers within it ostensibly obeyed the central government’s commands, but in reality, there were seven or eight big and small factions within the empire constantly engaged in internal struggles, and occasionally, large-scale civilian battles would erupt, backed by the major powers.

And yet, under such internal consumption, this empire still managed to balance its power with that of the Ru Lan Empire, which spoke volumes of its formidable combat strength.

Just as Jia Yan stepped into the theoretical territory of the Auster Empire, it did not take long for him to witness a scene described in the materials.

It was a space living material created by artificial technology.

This entire living material spanned a massive five or six kilometers. Although Jia Yan didn’t find the technology particularly strong, considering the technological strength of this star domain, it might be a decent place.

Within the five or six kilometers, a power akin to bandits was wreaking havoc.

The people of the Auster Empire who lived in the interstellar living space seemed no different from humans. Chased by groups of bandits, they screamed and fled in all directions.

”Huh? Is this living space not guarded? Attacked by a gang of bandits, they lack not only strong ones but also defensive weapons and technology?”

Jia Yan was somewhat curious to see that within this residential area, only a small portion of ordinary Auster people were resisting.

The most formidable were two Mecha, one piloted by an adult male and the other by a boy that seemed to be around thirteen or fourteen years old.

”Run, Adan, we can’t hold them off,” the adult kept urging the other Mecha to escape.

”No, I won’t let them hurt my parents, kill!”

The young boy on the other Mecha seemed to have gone berserk. His Mecha had suffered extensive damage, one arm lost, but he still refused to flee.

A large crowd of civilians was right behind him. If he fled, the interstellar bandits would swarm out and kill all the civilians.

”You take your family and leave, I’ll hold them back, go!”

The adult male shouted at the boy to leave and then maneuvered his Mecha in front of the bandits, continuously firing Mecha Heatline Weapons.

”Interesting.”

Jia Yan spotted this scene from over a hundred kilometers away and was now somewhat interested to see the outcome.

The adult male’s Mecha piloting skill was naturally impressive, but faced with a gang wielding advanced weapons and also seven or eight Mecha, he only held them off for a while before being engulfed in gunfire.

”Teacher...”

The boy had just picked up a middle-aged man and woman and a small girl who seemed about five or six years old.

”Adan, let us go and run away yourself,” the man and woman on the Mecha’s arm shouted at the boy operating the Mecha.

Meanwhile, the little girl did not understand what was happening and simply wailed loudly.

”No! I have to protect you! Ahhh!” The boy’s eyes were bloodshot as he bravely drove his Mecha into the midst of the bandits.

On one side, the Mecha fired at the boy’s Mecha, piercing the chest of his Mecha in one strike.

The massive Mecha fell to the ground, and the boy inside the operating cabin screamed loudly.

”Mom! Dad! Sister!”

The family of three had lost consciousness from the impact as the Mecha fell. The boy appeared to see three lifeless bodies and roared in anguish, attempting to save his loved ones.

But he was powerless to do so.

”So it turns out that this Mecha operator was just a little kid? Heh, these must be your parents, right? Since you’ve inflicted such great harm on us, we will not spare your family. That’s only fair, isn’t it?”

A middle-aged man jumped down from a bandit’s Mecha. Seeing the boy shouting in the battered Mecha’s cabin, he couldn’t help but reveal a cruel smile.

Then, the man took the pistol from his back, walked over to the boy’s father, raised the firearm, aimed at the middle-aged man’s head, and was about to pull the trigger!

”Dad! Ah! Let go of my dad!” The boy inside the mech was yelling, tears streaming from his eyes.

”Sigh.”

Just at the moment when the robber was about to pull the trigger, a faint sigh reached his ears.

”Who’s there?!” Although this man’s strength was probably only at Earth Level, his vigilance was still extremely high. Hearing this sound, he immediately looked around cautiously.

At the same time, he did not pull the trigger he was about to press.

The robber mechas and ground soldiers, who had gathered to enjoy the show, were suddenly startled by the sound and tried to look around in shock.

But no matter how they looked, they were unable to see the source of the sound.

While the strong ones were on alert, they didn’t know that on the side of the boy’s mecha, a man who didn’t look much different from the Auster people, was slowly approaching the boy’s mecha.

”Young man, do you want to save your parents and sister?” the man asked softly.

The boy in the cockpit looked up, but the light in space was dim at the moment, and he couldn’t see the man’s face clearly.

He just felt that the man’s eyes were bright, shining like the stars in the night sky.

”I want to save them.” The boy didn’t know why, but when he saw the man, he felt a sense of calm. It seemed that those eyes had the power to reassure.

”Okay.”

The man turned his head.

To the boy’s amazement, as the man turned, the dilapidated mecha beside him automatically disassembled piece by piece, creating a path for him to escape.

The commotion here finally drew the attention of the suspicious robbers to this spot.

Their faces changed drastically.

In front of the boy’s mecha, there was a man with black hair standing?!

Even though they were supposed to be observing, they couldn’t believe that someone had just walked into the center of the battlefield under their noses without them noticing before.

It was as if there was a power that prevented them from perceiving this existence.

Of course, they couldn’t understand that this was the power of a Strong One, a being far stronger than them, capable of easily manipulating the senses of the weak.

”You, who are you?” The middle-aged robber, upon seeing this man, had a bad premonition at the bottom of his heart.

As an Earth Level Strong One, he knew that in the interstellar space, there were some Strong Ones you couldn’t provoke, especially the revered ’Star Space Level’ throughout the Starfield, the foremost among Strong Ones.

Encountering any Star Space Level individual, his robbery crew would be easily annihilated without leaving a single survivor.

Now, this middle-aged man felt like the man with black hair before him might be a Star Space Level existence the moment he saw him!

The black-haired man did not respond to the middle-aged robber’s words but walked step by step towards the unconscious middle-aged couple, who had a little girl in their arms.

”Alright, if you know what’s good for you, then leave on your own. I don’t want to waste time adjusting the natural rules of your Auster Empire.”

The black-haired man, looking at the unconscious family on the ground, didn’t even lift his eyes as he addressed the robber.

”You bastard! How dare you speak to our second boss like...” One of the infrantry robbers, upset, started to speak...

Pff!

His head burst open.

Red and white, colorful innards and such spilled on the ground.

”Ah! Let’s go, hurry!”

Seeing this scene, the middle-aged robber had no thoughts of resistance and quickly shouted out.

As a group of robbers living on the edge, after witnessing the appearance of the black-haired man, they all understood that they had encountered a presence they couldn’t provoke.

Naturally, robbers knew how to save their own lives, and hurriedly fled in panic.

The fighting elsewhere also began to diminish in volume.

In the vast living area, it took less than five minutes for silence to fall.

The boy noticed that outside in the starry sky, the battered battleships were hastily fleeing as if they were escaping.

”This person is so impressive, he killed just one person and managed to deter so many robbers.” The young boy looked at the black-haired man with some admiration.

And at this moment, the black-haired man shook his head self-mockingly.

”I actually couldn’t help but take action. Blame it on this kid’s family composition; it reminds me too much of my own...”
