Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1221: Chapter 8 I am an assassin. [Second Update]

Jia Yan and Daphne’s appearance together, after all, could not be kept secret from so many prying eyes.

Somewhere within the fleet, a Heaven-level existence, who had just had a confrontation with Daphne not long ago, received a report from his subordinate.

”What? You say Daphne left the office unnaturally and then brought an unseen face into the office?!”

”Seems to be one of the Auster people?”

After putting down the communicator, the strong one’s face turned cold.

”Is this Auster person from another survival ship? Could it be that Daphne is planning something? This won’t do, I need to check it out.”

This existence notified a few other extremely powerful cosmic creatures, and they collectively headed towards where Daphne was.

”Hehe, Daphne, it seems your status within the Earth power is still not very stable.”

While following Daphne, Jia Yan suddenly shook his head and commented.

”Eh?” Daphne, somewhat baffled by Jia Yan’s sudden remark, awkwardly smiled and said, ”That’s right, my personal strength is indeed a bit low. If it weren’t for my commanding ability, this fleet would have encountered a major crisis long ago.”

Daphne shook her head helplessly.

”But these creatures are not all that bad; they just don’t want to go to the Solar System to face death. Once I tell them you have returned, they probably won’t think this way any longer.”

Jia Yan paused: ”Face death? Why say that?”

He had almost forgotten about this matter; he had directed the fleet to Earth to assist the Earth people more than a decade ago. He also thought that Earth had been in contact with the fleet, accustomed to the high technology of the Northern Star Domain, he never considered that it was impossible for Earth to contact the fleet. The contact could only be initiated by the fleet expending enormous energy.

Thus Jia Yan mistakenly believed Daphne already knew about the half-combat carrier dangers that he had resolved, but Daphne was actually unaware of it.

”My Lord, it’s like this: after some knew of your disappearance earlier, they didn’t want to go to the Solar System to fight with the Rulan Empire Army. But rest assured, once they learn of your return, they will surely obey as before,” Daphne hurriedly explained.

Jia Yan now understood the situation, then he smiled.

”Okay, let’s first go into your office. Let’s talk when they come together.”

Daphane, not sure what was happening, just nodded and entered her office.

Jia Yan followed behind.

A decade had passed, and the fleet had undergone many changes; what Daphne had once decided upon as a simple residential space, unexpectedly ended up being utilized for so many years, and even had a bit more life breathed into it.

”My Lord.” Daphne wanted to ask something upon entering space.

But Jia Yan directly interrupted her, merely saying, ”Alright, they’ll be here soon, my time is limited, I’ll explain it all together.”

Daphne intended to discuss with Jia Yan how to deal with the half-combat carriers, hoping she could once again leverage her intellectual superiority in serving under Jia Yan.

However, she had not anticipated that the current Jia Yan not only presented a changed exterior but the tone and demeanor of his speech seemed to no longer belong to the Big Mosquito she knew.

She had a sense of unfathomable depth from the other, feeling her own intelligence somewhat stifled.

This made Daphne somewhat frustrated.

”Lady Daphne!”

Just as Jia Yan had sat down not long after, a group of Heavenly-level monsters suddenly burst into the small space!

A total of five Heavenly-level monsters appeared; they looked towards the composed Jia Yan seated there, wanting to say something.

Boom!!!

At that moment, these five monsters suddenly felt a terrifying pressure descend, pinning these Heaven-level beings, rendering them unable to move or speak.

Daphne was right beside Jia Yan, and at this moment, she too sensed an energy akin to mountains, mysteriously emanating from the body of the ’Assassin Lord Avatar’, who was even a bit shorter than her.

This power did not suppress her, but just feeling it made her heart tremble!

So powerful, the Assassin Lord was still so indifferent, seemingly acting with nonchalance?

Of course, Jia Yan was acting casually, knowing that now his strength could even suppress those of the Star Space Level, a mere Heavenly level would die by a mere flick of his Brainwave Power if he wished.

”Alright, my time is limited, let me tell you all at once,” Jia Yan got up from his seat.

The group of monsters, unable to speak, just stared with wide eyes at the seemingly insignificant creature before them.

They were utterly shocked.

Previously, they were nervous upon hearing that Daphne had invited a mysterious, small creature into her office, assuming that Daphne was plotting something. But when they hurried over and first saw this so-called mysterious creature, they slightly underestimated him.

The vastness of a creature does not necessarily equate to its strength, but most cosmic creatures that are small in size are generally not powerful.

Yet today, they learned that this theory was utterly wrong, horribly wrong!

This seemingly insignificant creature turned out to be so terrifying!

It didn’t even move; just by its imposing aura alone, they were all rendered immobile.

Keep in mind, they were all of Sky Level! Within this fleet, each was considered among the top few strong ones. Yet, under the hands of this insignificant creature, they couldn’t even withstand its aura?!

Who exactly is he!? The monsters, unable to speak, could only frantically ponder in their minds.

”There’s no need for you to guess anymore, allow me to clear up the mystery for you.” Jia Yan, seeing this group of dull-witted folks speculating, shook his head somewhat exasperatedly.

”I am an assassin,” he said softly.

Assassin?

The group of creatures, momentarily fuzzy, couldn’t recall who this name belonged to. But the next moment, at least they weren’t dumb enough to forget such an important name. Their eyes suddenly widened!

Lord Assassin?!!

How is that possible? Isn’t Lord Assassin supposed to be a monster even larger than them? How could it be this tiny creature that resembles an Auster person?

Moreover, wasn’t Lord Assassin supposed to have gone to Earth and even disappeared long ago? How could he appear out of nowhere in this fleet now?

”Alright, I can think of all your questions. Basically, I disappeared over a decade ago, went through a series of events, and now before you is my avatar. Also, you need not worry about that semi-combat class aircraft carrier anymore, I’ve already dealt with it.”

Jia Yan, keeping it brief, simply stated the essentials.

Of course, there was no need for him to go into specifics, such as matters concerning the Northern Star Domain, as it wouldn’t mean anything discussing them; these former subordinates of his couldn’t reach that level, so it was better to save his breath.

”Uh? The semi-combat class aircraft carrier has been dealt with?!”

This news shocked not only the few controlled strong ones but even Daphne on the side showed a stunned expression.

She couldn’t help but be shocked.

She had been wracking her brains about this potential battle, calculating how to secure supplies, how to increase the chances of victory, and had even taken into account the factor of Earth people, thoroughly including everything in her calculations.

One could say that for the past decade, Daphne had been preoccupied with this vexing issue. But now, Jia Yan’s so-called avatar appears and casually says ”it’s solved”?

It’s as though a kid who has been plotting for years on how to deal with an adult, but then the kid’s parent appears and says the adult was slapped to death by the parent. Such a shock was indeed staggering.

”Yes, that’s right. Now, I’ll release you all, and give each of you your new assignments for after reaching Earth.”

Jia Yan released all the strong ones from their bonds.

They still wore expressions of disbelief, not only unable to believe that this tiny creature was Lord Assassin’s avatar but even more unable to believe that the semi-combat class aircraft carrier, which they greatly feared, had already been dealt with!

”I still remember your names; you’re Rong Bosi, right? Not bad, from a Mid-level Heavenly back then to a High-level Expert now.”

Jia Yan looked at one being, and calmly called out his name.

At this moment, the group of creatures became even more convinced of his identity as the assassin, but Jia Yan didn’t say anything further and directly issued the commissioned task.

”Alright, the entire fleet will be under your command from now on. After the Earth power reaches Earth, follow the instructions of the Earth Fleet there, let them arrange your lodgings and further construction tasks. Also, pass on my message that the task entrusted to me by Earth, I have already completed half of it; tell them to prepare to take over as soon as possible. Understood?”

Jia Yan commanded softly, causing the assigned being to be taken aback.

”Understood,” this Upper-level Celestial Expert quickly nodded.

They didn’t know if he really was Jia Yan, but they understood that this strong one could easily take their lives if he wished.

Moreover, Earth people had entrusted this strong one with a mission? Such a powerful being, and there are still people who could command him? The group of strong ones didn’t know what the mission was, just thinking to relay his words as they were.

Of course, when they reached Earth and found out what this so-called mission was, their dumbfounded expressions could be imagined.

Jia Yan casually arranged tasks for the strong ones but didn’t include Daphne.

”He’s already so outstanding now...” Daphne, hearing Jia Yan’s arrangements, showed a somewhat helpless and displeased expression.

Although Jia Yan wasn’t very skilled at managing power, he had, after all, seen big setups in the Northern Star Domain, where the advanced management experience and large fleet management experience were much better than Daphne’s. At this moment, his capabilities even seemed superior to Daphne’s.

Seeing that she hadn’t been given a task, Daphne’s expression was uncomfortable, thinking Jia Yan was giving her a hard time over their past conflicts.

”As for you, Daphne, come with me now. I have a new task for you.”
