Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1245: Chapter 32: The War Reparations Fleet! [Second Update]

In the sky above, the technology of the Earth people is becoming more and more formidable. What the ordinary Earth people do not know is that, with the help of technology from the outer space, countless temporary space stations have been established around the entire Solar System, and numerous mining resources have begun to be exploited. Many technicians and Earth workers are exerting their warmth and brightness for the civilization of Earth throughout the universe.

And in the midst of this intensely fiery scene, a tremendously huge fleet was slowly traveling.

There were more than three hundred of them, and each one was a large transport ship, with ferocious looking cannons aimed in all directions, as if they could easily obliterate Earth’s small, nascent interstellar civilization into dust!

They didn’t bother to activate their stealth and anti-detection systems, seemingly overflowing with confidence in their own capabilities. Of course, this was indeed the case. If the fleet wanted to do anything to Earth, they wouldn’t need to hide. Without the aid of strong ones from Earth, this fleet could easily resolve the situation!

”Ah, Universe, you are so beautiful, just like Xiao Li from my hometown, with her dark eyes, both beautiful and endearing.”

”Give me a break, you call that a poem? What’s this nonsense about ’Xiao Li’ and ’Xiao Hong’? Are there any girls called Xiao Li in your hometown?”

Aboard an Earth battleship, two radar soldiers were joking around inside their station.

Although the strength of Earth’s civilization was not yet powerful, the Earth people were now utterly confident in the strength of their own civilization. The reason was none other than the strong Earth person called ’Sir Mo Ke,’ whom the entire Earth revered immensely. Despite his rare public appearances, he looked completely like an Earth person and had made it known that he was one of them. This strong one was held in the highest esteem.

With the presence of Mo Ke, Earth people feared nothing. Through those strong aliens, the Earth people understood the extent of strength Sir Mo Ke, supposedly an Earthling, possessed in the entire universe.

That was a supreme strong one who could look down upon the entire Starfield! Now that Earth people had this strong protector, what was there to fear?

”Alright, enough jokes, back to work...”

”Hm? What is that, no good!”

The faces of these two radar soldiers changed, and they quickly pressed the alarm button that would sound throughout the entire battleship.

Not ten minutes later, the entire region’s border defense Earth battleships were mobilized, assembling one by one. Although there were also about a hundred of them, they were merely broken warships of about a hundred meters in size. They seemed to stand no chance against the incoming mammoth fleet.

”What’s going on? Isn’t that the identification signal of the Ru Lan Empire? And they seem to harbor no malice?”

”Forget it, let’s just send a distress signal to Earth first, and then tell the fleet members to write their wills. If the other side wants to attack, we have no power to resist.”

The entire Earth fleet was filled with expressions of terror and pessimism.

The fleet they had detected was an enormous fleet of three hundred in number, and these were not ordinary spaceships, let alone the hundred or so small battleships on Earth’s side, but genuine large warships and ships. The severity of a few of them surpassed those of the semi-combat carriers that had attacked Earth last time!

Against the Earth fleet, it would probably take only one such battleship to entirely annihilate all of Earth’s fleet.

Under such circumstances, how could the Earth fleet not be pessimistic?

”Relax, even if we die, Sir Mo Ke will not let our deaths be in vain. If this fleet dares to lay a hand on us, it will face Sir Mo Ke’s slaughter next, and they too will be annihilated!”

Member after member of the Earth fleet was gritting their teeth with these thoughts.

Indeed, Earth people now believed that even if they were to perish in battle, their sacrifice would yield rewards. As long as they could hold off until Mo Ke’s arrival, no opponent could possibly defeat Earth people!

Just when the entire border defense fleet had resolved to engage in a fight to the death, the Ru Lan Empire fleet on the other side suddenly transmitted a communication request.

”May I inquire if this is the respected fleet of Earth civilization? We are the Ru Lan Empire’s first fleet of war reparations materials to your civilization. We harbor no ill intentions and hope you do not misunderstand.”

Upon hearing this communication message, the members of the entire Earth border defense fleet looked stupefied, hardly daring to believe their own ears!

”Uh, I seem to have heard that the other side said they are the reparations fleet of the Ru Lan Empire? Could it be, this is the result Sir Mo Ke spoke of two years ago, demanding reparations from the Ru Lan Empire? This entire fleet is their compensation!”

”How is that possible, weren’t we told that the Ru Lan Empire is more than a dozen light-years away? And that it’s even further to reach their capital? How did Sir Mo Ke manage that in two years? Moreover, why would the Ru Lan Empire agree to his reparations demands? Could it be... could it be that Sir Mo Ke alone made the entire Ru Lan Empire submit!?”

”The Ru Lan Empire seems to be a top civilization in that Starfield, according to those alien Lords. They even have many star-level strong ones. Even if Sir Mo Ke is powerful, it’s impossible for him to accomplish this alone, right...?”

One after another, the soldiers and higher-ups of the Earth fleet were incredulous. But they had no choice but to believe it when they saw the approaching fleet of the Ru Lan Empire, where each and every ship had directly discarded their weapons.

When the Earth Fleet saw every type of weapon, each capable of obliterating them entirely, disengage from the Ru Lan Empire Fleet’s spacecraft—weapons beyond the research capabilities of Earth people—all aboard fell into a deathly silence.

”They were actually telling the truth! Sir Mo Ke really did what we Earth people didn’t believe was possible...”

”Long live Sir Mo Ke!”

...

Half a day had passed before the events on the edge of the Solar System were reported to Earth.

”The Ru Lan Empire Fleet is attacking? Quick, quick, quick, inform all parties, I want to unite with the newly arrived Earth Fleet forces, there’s surely a chance to resist them, as long as Lord Assassin returns, we will certainly...”

”Lord, you’ve heard wrong, it’s not an attack I spoke of, but the Ru Lan Empire’s reparations fleet—three hundred massive ships! They said this is just the first batch. There are several more to come.”

An alien creature resembling a giant frog, recently assigned to Kari from Earth power, halted the nearly exploding Kari. This giant frog also possessed the Power at the Early Stage of Heavenly Level and now, seeing his former peer, only slightly more powerful than himself, becoming the leading fleet commander on Earth, yet still so impetuous, he felt a slight contempt.

Of course, he forgot that when he heard the news himself, he was no different from this leader.

”Are you sure you’re talking about a reparations fleet, not one attacking Earth?” Kari finally ceased his defensive preparations and stared at his subordinate, his eyeballs nearly popping out.

”Of course, Lord, genuine and guaranteed.”

”Ha ha ha, I knew it, this must be Lord Assassin’s doing, what’s the Ru Lan Empire to him? As long as the Lord Assassin makes a move, no matter the interstellar Strong Nation, they still have to humbly come over and pay reparations!”

Kari’s mood switched astonishingly quickly, now seeming incredibly excited.

”Quick, prepare my Battleship personally, I must rush to see what kind of warships we need for the Earth Fleet within that fleet. The future of Earth is becoming stronger, my position won’t just be that of a Marshal—I must grab whatever I can now!”

Watching their money-obsessed leader, the giant frog was left speechless, understanding that this Earth Marshal was indeed a money-grubber.

However, Kari’s consideration for Earth’s interests had also been engraved into his bones, and that might be why he could become the Marshal of the Earth Fleet.

While these events unfolded here, Jia’s family had also received the news. The military and Jia’s family had no secrets between them; any news that the People from Jia’s family wished to know, they would certainly receive, and such major news would be sent even if they did not wish to know. Sometimes, the military and Earth’s higher-ups even felt uncomfortable and dared not make a move without the help and decisions of People from Jia’s family.

”Brother! I just got the news saying that the Ru Lan Empire has sent a reparations fleet of three hundred Battleship Team, could this be what you’ve accomplished over the past two years of disappearance?”

Jia Lin, with a communicator in hand, rushed into the house where Jia Yan was.

Jia Yan happened to be training his nieces’ Brainwave Power. As for Jia Rong, it seemed there were some unresolved feelings towards his ’father,’ and Jia Yan didn’t particularly want to see him either, so he had not been called over.

Upon hearing their mother’s voice, Jia Qi flying in the sky nearly dropped to the ground.

”Don’t slack off, hold it together,” Jia Yan commanded in a low voice, and Jia Qi in the air pursed her lips and continued to fly.

”Oh, has this fleet finally arrived? That’s not too late, otherwise, I would have to bother them,” Jia Yan said indifferently, looking at his sister with an unsurprised demeanor.

”Brother! Did you really do this?” Jia Lin’s eyes shone; she knew this was an unparalleled merit. Although she was aware her brother had already done countless things to save the Earth people, this still certainly counted as a milestone contribution.

”Heh, go and communicate with the Ru Lan Empire. Tell them I’ve returned to Earth and give them a ten-day limit to complete the handover. You’ll understand their response,” Jia Yan told Jia Qi, who indeed went to the Earth Fleet headquarters, once located in Shanghai City.

Even though the high echelons of Earth civilization were aware of Jia Lin’s identity as the legitimate daughter of Jia’s family and that she seldom went out, less so taking the initiative in matters with such profound impact, they still hesitated.

After grasping the meaning behind Jia Yan’s words, Jia Lin’s communication was extremely stern.

The Earth’s higher-ups dared not transmit it!

”Miss Jia, if you say this and they attack us, what should we do? Earth people might not be able to withstand them!”

A head of state from one of Earth’s nations made such an earnest plea to the hastily arriving Jia Lin.
