Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1223: Chapter 10: Welcoming the Ambassador. [Second Update]

Watching her country-bumpkin appearance, Jia Yan helplessly shook his head, then activated the space cabin’s space jump function...

”Yah!”

Then, in the vastness of space, the piercing soprano scream of Daphne rang out.

Moments later, billions of kilometers away, that female voice arrived instantaneously at that location, with an even more astonished cry!

”This this this, what kind of vehicle is this?! It reached so far in an instant, how terrifying, could we possibly reach the Ru Lan Empire within a year?”

Space jump ability activated again!

”Yah...”

Space jump ability activated again, again, and again.

”Ah, yah ah ah, yah yah yah oh oh oh oh...”

A continuous high pitch of pleasing soprano carried on, and those who didn’t understand might even think Jia Yan was ’bullying’ this beautiful biochemist female.

Finally, the seductive-eyed female corrected her mistake.

”Good, so fast, originally, it would take half a month, but now, uh...”

Daphne threw up, knowing that space jumping can be nauseating, it’s no wonder that a creature that has never experienced this before would vomit after so many consecutive jumps.

”Hehehe.” Jia Yan finally couldn’t help but let out a burst of laughter.

...

The Ru Lan Empire, these past few days the entire vast Star Empire was shaken up and down.

Because right at the heart of the empire, which is also the area with the densest concentration of power and the Strong Ones of the entire Ru Lan Empire, a person claiming to be an ’Emissary from Earth Civilization’ surprisingly appeared!

This emissary was too powerful. His appearance was brief, but in that short time, he killed countless inhabitants of the Capital Star and over a dozen Lords of Star Level died by his hand.

There were even rumors that the Empire had already negotiated with this Strong One to compensate his civilization, that ’Earth’, as it seems the Ru Lan Empire accidentally harmed many beings of Earth Civilization?

The citizens of the Ru Lan Empire who were unaware of the behind-the-scenes details were inquiring everywhere, while those who knew the ins and outs were just dumbfounded.

Because they understood that this Strong One was not merely strong!

But invincible! Combining the whole Empire’s strength might still not be enough to defeat this invincible might!

Within three days, the Capitol Star of the Empire was chaotic, as the Ru Lan Empire needed to gather a group within these days to send to Earth, it was already too late to call in people from other Resource Stars, and some highly skilled technicians and Strong Ones who used to enjoy their blessings on the Capital Star were suddenly conscripted.

They had no right to disagree. In the face of the Empire’s survival, their personal will became irrelevant.

”Now that the first group we dispatched has been gone for over half a month, that Strong One hasn’t shown up yet. Could it be that this batch of people is enough?”

Inside the Empire Capital Star of the Ru Lan Empire, the broken palace was quickly being restored with extremely advanced technology, but a host of Strong Ones didn’t feel happy about it.

Because that Strong One who proposed the terms hadn’t appeared for many days.

”Could it be that he has already gone to the Auster Empire? I’ve thought about it, when I saw those video materials at first, it seemed that it was the Auster Empire’s machines that did more harm to Earth people.”

Some Strong Ones speculated that Jia Yan might have left.

”That’s impossible. I don’t think this Strong One would easily leave our Empire. As long as we haven’t met his demands, how could he possibly leave? The Auster Empire is right there and won’t run away; with his power, he’s not afraid of whatever tricks the Auster Empire may pull.”

The atmosphere in the entire palace was somewhat stifling, with precisely over two hundred Strong Ones, all of Star Level.

Some of them were originally from the Capital Star, while others had rushed back from nearby planets.

However, even with so many Strong Ones gathered, those who had seen Jia Yan’s presence still dare not believe they could deal with that terrifying existence.

”We’ve said so much, what exactly is the strength of this Strong One? With more than two hundred of us here, we shouldn’t fear him, should we?”

A massive monster, looking to be over a hundred meters in size, coldly glanced at the extremely frightened colleagues around it, then spoke to the Golden Frog Emperor who was sitting at the highest position in the hall.

”My Lord, I don’t believe even more than two hundred of us united at Star Level can’t deal with him. I am now the number one Strong One of the Empire, and even the Senior Predecessor has recognized me. Perhaps just the Senior Predecessor and I could handle him.”

”Presumptuous, don’t say anymore. Remember not to offend this Lord at all costs, otherwise our Ru Lan Empire’s history of ten thousand years could be destroyed in your hands.”

The Emperor glanced at the Strong One with some anger.

It turned out that the massive monster below was also a golden-colored frog, and moreover, the beloved son of this Ru Lan Great Emperor.

However, the power of this Prince should not be underestimated. He had long been the first Strong One of the Ru Lan Empire besides that old monster, and a powerful being who garrisoned a region of the entire Ru Lan Empire.

”Hmph.” The Prince let out a cold laugh, but he didn’t speak again.

It was evident that he was somewhat dissatisfied with that so-called ’Earth messenger.’

”Uh, here comes the communication from that emissary, arriving at the Capital Star of the Ru Lan Empire in half a day, instructing us to welcome the Earth Ambassador to the Ru Lan Empire!”

Amidst the strong ones who couldn’t come up with any countermeasures, a Heaven-level existence stumbled into the grand hall, shouting loudly.

And with that shout, a group of strong ones were all visibly shaken.

Some were afraid, some were eager to try, and some were simply watching coldly.

After all, most of the new arrivals, not knowing how formidable this existence was, though they all knew he was powerful enough to be composed in the face of the resistance of over a hundred Capital Star strong ones, they didn’t believe their own strength was capable of standing against a hundred.

But this news greatly altered the expressions of those existences who had seen Jia Yan, including the Great Emperor.

”Quickly! Hurry up and prepare the highest standard of welcome ceremony. And also hurry up to prepare the best embassy, is it not that the residence of the late garrison general is over at the west? Now clear it out for me, give it to this Ambassador.”

The Great Emperor was almost scared witless, barking orders frantically, completely lacking the usual composed demeanor of a sovereign.

Of course, in front of this strong one, how could he, the Great Emperor, dare to act composed? If things weren’t taken care of quickly and the other party got angry, the Empire would be in trouble.

The group of new arrivals coldly watched those strong ones who had seen Jia Yan in a panic, all of them curious to see just how powerful that Emissary really was.

And just at this moment, not far from the Capital Star of Ruolan Empire.

”Ugh...”

Daphne was still vomiting.

”It’s alright, keep vomiting. I’ve already told the people of Ruolan Empire that we’ll be another hour late,” said Jia Yan outside the space cabin, to Daphne who seemed like she might vomit out her viscera after half a month of continuous travel.

”No, it’s not okay. To make the people of Ruolan Empire wait, what if they get angry? Diplomacy tolerates no neglect, let’s just go now. Ugh...”

Daphne tried to staunchly stand up, but before she could stabilize, she vomited into the space cabin again.

”Them angry? No, no, no, they won’t get angry,” Jia Yan said, a mysterious smile on his lips, after hearing her words.

”Alright, just let me... I’ll feel better after vomiting. Master, you’ve really put me through the wringer on this trip, making me vomit every day - it’s like I’m pregnant. Hehe.” Daphne, still pale, did not forget to joke.

”Looks like you’re recovering okay, stop joking around now. We’re about to go, think about what you’re going to say to the people from Ruolan Empire that will meet us,” Jia Yan shook his head.

”The ones meeting us won’t be any big shots, I understand that, but I still need to be careful,” Daphne said nonchalantly, nodding her head.

Half an hour later, this small spacecraft slowly made its way towards the Capital Star.

”Here we go!”

As they reached about 500 kilometers above the Capital Star, Jia Yan sent down a communication wave, and the higher-ups of Ruolan Empire immediately understood that this existence had arrived!

”Master, I think we should show some respect to the other side and go through the space port. Don’t let them get the wrong idea.”

Daphne, on the other hand, was trying to persuade Jia Yan to properly follow the rules of others, but as she spoke, the entire space suddenly lit up!

Daphne was taken aback, then her face changed color. She thought they were under attack.

”Uh!” But the next moment, she was stunned.

In space, a long line of ships and battleships, thousands in number, had been freshly decorated, their cannons removed, all lights shining.

The thousands of lights covered the starry sky, arranged into a series of large characters.

Daphne naturally understood the characters of Ruolan Empire and immediately knew what these characters meant.

”Welcome Emissary and Lord Ambassador!?”

She uttered these big characters in shock, then widened her eyes: ”Could it be? Is this Ambassador... me?!!”

”That’s right! They’re talking about you, hehe, Ruolan Empire’s sincerity isn’t too bad. Let’s go down.”

Jia Yan stood up in the space cabin, looking with satisfaction at the vast fleet of ships forming words in the starry sky.

Such a huge fleet, not even in the Technology Star Domain of the Northern Star Domain, would undoubtedly consume energy that would give a Great Empire a headache. Although in Jia Yan’s eyes, it’s not a huge event, he was preliminarily satisfied.

”Uh! My lord, master! We must have made some mistake, this might be welcoming another Empire’s Ambassador. Let’s not give them the wrong impression,” Daphne hurriedly tried to persuade, her face changing color as she saw Jia Yan maneuvering the space cabin to lower down slowly.

She completely disbelieved that this was a welcoming ceremony for her. In her mind, Earth, in the eyes of the other party, would at most send a minor official to meet them. She even thought that as an Ambassador in Ruolan Empire, she might need to work to cover the daily expenses of an ambassador’s job, as the daily consumption in Ruolan Empire was not low.

But now that they had arrived at the Capital Star, to be met with such a grand welcome ceremony?

There must have been some mistake.

But Jia Yan ignored her advice, and under the watchful eyes of many, slowly flew the space cabin down to the ground.

What Daphne couldn’t believe even more was that the space cabin piloted by Jia Yan did not fly towards the docking port but rather boldly flew towards the ’Ru Lan Royal Palace’ that she had only seen in movies and never dared to believe she would one day lay eyes upon in person!

”It’s over! Flying straight to their royal palace, we’re doomed!” Daphne helplessly stroked her forehead, convinced they were finished.

”Welcome Lord Earth Envoy, welcome Lord Ambassador!”

A big thank you to ’Madness What’s Wrong With That’ brother for his generous 10,000 Starty Coins reward, can we be friends wealthy brother?! (Here’s an extra hundred or so words as a thank you, much appreciated)
