Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 1244: Chapter 31 My son Jia Yan, how can he be useless? 【Happy New Year】

These past few days, Jia Qi has been somewhat unhappy.

Now a thirteen-year-old girl, she wants to play with her friends every day, but her mother Jia Lin insists that she stays at home to watch her little sister.

”Sister, come catch me.”

A three or four-year-old girl, delicate and pretty, was running wildly on the grass beside her, giggling continuously as she ran.

Her speed was clearly not that of a normal little girl; she was almost as fast as a leopard.

The grass on the lawn was trampled askew by her.

Jia Qi stood up somewhat displeased, feeling that being a sister was not at all enjoyable as she had to take care of her sister, otherwise, her mother would scold her.

”Stop right there, come here and sit down!” Jia Qi shouted almost roaringly with her hands on her hips.

The little girl was clearly startled by the shout, stopped in her tracks, then obediently swayed toward Jia Qi.

It turned out she had been using brainwave power earlier.

If she walked on her own, she was just a baby who had not long ago learned to walk, staggering along.

”Come, sit here!” Jia Qi pointed to a clean spot on the lawn.

”No, it’s dirty!” The little toddler looked at the grass and seemed reluctant to sit because of the dirt.

”Sit down properly.” Jia Qi displayed the authority of an elder sister.

”Alright.” This time the little girl obeyed; she knew that opposing her sister would not end well.

”Stay here and play, do not run around, or else if mom scolds me later, I’ll spank you!” Jia Qi commanded.

The little girl gave her sister a glare. Even such a young child understood the situation, acting like a little adult.

”Fine then.” She sighed, almost as if relenting to her sister.

Then Jia Qi contently lay on the lawn, pulled out the latest smart cellphone, and while happily swiping through it, she glanced occasionally at her sister playing in the mud.

Perhaps looking after her sister wasn’t so bad after all? She thought to herself.

”Oh, Jia Qi, is this how you take care of your sister?”

Suddenly, a man’s voice reached Jia Qi’s ears.

Jia Qi was startled; she was now considered a Sky-level Strong, a powerful entity on Earth, yet she hadn’t sensed the presence of the one who spoke?

She quickly jumped up, looking around warily.

However, within the Jia Family Forest where she was looking, there was nothing at the source of the voice.

Just as she was about to look elsewhere, she saw a vague silhouette of a man slowly appearing there.

This was the figure of a man. Although not towering, he still possessed an imposing aura like a mountain.

”Uncle Jiu!”

When Jia Qi saw the man’s complete appearance, she was shocked and joyously rushed over.

This man was naturally Jia Yan. It had only been two years, and for Jia Yan now, two years passed like the flowering of an evening primrose; he even wasn’t sure of his own lifespan anymore.

But for the average Earth child, two years was a long time. Over these two years, his previously daily-held little niece had grown into a beautiful young girl, appearing very much like a young lady.

He picked up his little niece, who playfully refused to let go, then Jia Yan saw another little girl who was puffing and panting as she clumsily crawled up from the ground.

This child was too similar to Jia Qi as a child; one could tell they were sisters just by looking.

The little one stared expectantly at Jia Yan, the uncle she had seen two years ago, of whom she had no memory.

”Ruo Ruo, what’s wrong, did you forget about uncle?” Jia Yan teased her, smiling.

Indeed, the little girl tilted her head thoughtfully, apparently unable to recall the image of the man before her, and eventually shook her head.

”Who are you?” she asked in a babyish voice.

”Ruo Ruo, this is Uncle Jiu.” Jia Qi was pulling on Jia Yan while speaking to the little one.

”Uncle Jiu.” Little Ruo Ruo, without much confusion, crisply called out.

”Uh...” Jia Yan was somewhat frustrated, it seemed his title as ”Uncle Jiu” was going to stick.

”Uncle Jiu, where have you been all this time? I cried so many times because I couldn’t find you.”

Having just returned to Earth, Jia Yan first met his two little nieces. Now, while chatting with them, he walked towards the house where his parents and sister were.

Jia Lin was still the same temperament; although she was now a mother, she was still somewhat unreliable. Jia Qi mentioned that lately, she had asked Jia Qi to take care of her sister and no longer managed it much herself.

Everything on Earth was much the same as when Jia Yan had left, but he understood that on this Earth, inexplicably, there were many alien visitors.

These visitors are the beings Jia Yan brought from Grey-Yellow Star long ago.

Jia Yan originally thought that this Flank Division would leave the Solar System right after he and Daphne left, but to his surprise, they really came to Earth and seemed genuinely intent on starting a war with the ’Ru Lan Empire Fleet’.

Jia Yan sensed their thoughts and felt somewhat relieved. Although he no longer heavily relied on these subordinates with his current power, he isn’t a saint, and would indeed feel somewhat upset if these subordinates really abandoned him. Now that they did not betray him, Jia Yan was in a very good mood.

It seemed that the Earth Government had no plans to expose them in large numbers. Hundreds of thousands of aliens were temporarily housed at the Moon Base, while others were secretly placed in various factories on Earth.

These aliens have already started helping to accelerate production on Earth.

After briefly understanding the current situation on Earth, Jia Yan decided not to interfere too much with their enthusiasm, as internal affairs were not his strong suit; it was better to let them do it themselves.

”Mom and dad, I’m back.”

In his parents’ house, Jia Yan respectfully served them tea.

”Good, good, it’s good that you’re back. You must have suffered a lot in the past two years, ah, my child.” Mother Jia now thinks highly of Jia Yan, especially knowing the status and strength of her son, she is incredibly proud to have raised such a son.

Next to his younger sister was a man.

This was his sister’s husband, the former Glasses Murderer.

”Xiao Yao, this is my brother, it’s your second meeting, right? Don’t be afraid, come, serve tea to brother.”

Seeing her husband appearing as a mouse that saw a cat when he met her brother, Jia Lin couldn’t help but laugh. She didn’t think her husband was a coward, but who on Earth wouldn’t be afraid of their ’brother’?

After all, he is someone who alone has the power to overturn big situations and save the Earth from the hands of the Ru Lan Empire Fleet!

”Uh!”

Seeing Jia Yan who looked much younger than him, the middle-aged man wearing glasses changed his expression and then poured a cup of tea with slightly trembling hands, handing it to Jia Yan respectfully, saying, ”Brother, drink tea.”

”Hmph.”

Jia Yan snorted coldly, but still took the tea and sipped it.

Although he was dissatisfied with his brother-in-law, there was nothing Jia Yan could do, as his two nieces were already so old; he had to accept it.

Meanwhile, at that moment outside the house, a tiny head was stealthily peeking.

This was a little boy, with a head full of black hair. If Jia Yan currently only resembled his past self by ninety percent, then this child was almost a carbon copy of Jia Yan as a child.

Indeed, he was Jia Yan’s son in name, Jia Rong!

Of course, Jia Yan has still not come to terms with having a son whose species is unknown.

Two years have passed, and the boy’s appearance has hardly grown, still resembling a four or five-year-old. Probably soon, little Ruo Ruo’s size might even catch up to his.

Now hiding to the side, and having reached the Mid Celestial Level, his eyes were red, seemingly wanting to cry.

After all, their mother and son’s status in the Jia family was somewhat awkward; although based on strength no one would say anything, he knew without Jia Yan’s recognition, their status was not truly that of Jia family members.

”Sigh.”

What he didn’t know was, while he could hide his strength from others, how could he possibly hide it from Jia Yan?

Jia Yan let out a long sigh.

”Little Rong, if you want to come over, just come over,” Jia Yan said, feeling somewhat headache about the situation.

”Hmm.”

After Jia Rong trembled a bit, as if he had grown up a little, quickly realizing that his strength could not be hidden from Jia Yan, he walked out nervously.

The family’s expression became subtle upon seeing him.

”Don’t be so timid, thinking of being my Jia Yan’s son, how can you show such a useless expression? Stand firm!”

Jia Yan sharply commanded, causing the little boy to startle and then quickly stand properly.

The family looked at Jia Yan who was somewhat stern, but some playful meanings emerged from his words.

After all, everyone in the Jia family was unsure of how to deal with these two, but now that Jia Yan was somewhat expressing his thoughts, it would be easier for them to talk when they see each other normally.

Jia Yan himself felt a bit helpless; as a man who has been single for two lifetimes, suddenly having a wife and children, how could he accept these suddenly appeared wife and child?

Thinking of these, he felt speechless and had a headache.

Fortunately, he didn’t dislike the child himself.

”Are you going to school? Why aren’t you going? Your mother said no need? Nonsense, go! I’ll talk to your mom, you must go to school,” Jia Yan didn’t quite understand his own mentality, asking the child many things, and even making some decisions that only a father would make.

’Mo Ke’s’ return was known by few, even the guards in the Jia family didn’t know, and what they didn’t know even more was that this Mo Ke was the ’Jia Yan’ who the entire Jia family once thought had died, and was still sometimes mentioned by the Jia family people as the ’Eldest Young Master’.

What even those in the Jia family who had met Jia Yan didn’t know was that after this unnoticeably returned Mo Ke came back, another huge team that would shock, and even change, the entire Earth, was soon to arrive!

Got a bit of post-festival syndrome, not in a good state.
