Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3982  Taking Hostages

”Also, I see you what you see no matter where you are in this universe. I can tell that your scab avatar actually- well, knowing this would increase your karmic burden as youʼre not supposed to know what your scab avatar encountered, so Iʼll spare the details of the entity from the void and let you know what Autarch Elluro Coldwing said…”

Fallen Heaven then described Davisʼs exchange with Autarch Elluro Coldwing, causing him to be shocked.

ʼCelestial Transcendent took those three villains down..? Although itʼs just their avatars, itʼs such a huge relief. They wouldʼve almost died from the Celestial Transcendentʼs karmic attack if Iʼm not wrong, weakened greatly. That would disallow them from descending to the Lower Realms for a while…ʼ

Davis couldnʼt help but sigh, finally understanding that it was no wonder he didnʼt see them.

Although he didnʼt have those bastards in his eyes, it was true they posed a great threat because they were more evil in their methods to obtain what they wanted.

Autarch Elluro Coldwing would stop at nothing to kill Divergents, but even he wouldnʼt go through the evil these three would casually decide to go through.

ʼIn any case, it seems that not killing these ants turned out to be the right choice… they wouldnʼt stop… I would have the opportunity to kill more… plunder more… itʼs my fate… theyʼd be throwing themselves at me like Iʼm some tasty fire… only to be devoured by me…ʼ

Davisʼs lips curled into an evil grin. He could always quench his thirst for revenge later. Now, taking his family to a safe location was of the utmost importance.

”Big brother… thatʼs an evil look you have~” Stella inclined her head and gazed at him with an amused smile, ”Let me in on your plan.”

”Shoo, shoo. This plan is not for disobedient trees.”

”Ah~ Iʼll be obedient~”

Stella pounced to hug him. He dodged her move and descended.

”Iʼll share it later,” Davis said, but he didnʼt have anything in mind other than the urge to get back at them later.

He increased the power used in Soul Suppression Art and caused all the Heavenʼs Warriors to lose their breaths. They shuddered and lost consciousness as a heavy force crashed down on them, causing them all to faint. Many had their bones broken, meridians swollen and ruptured from trying to move or use energy.

They had been relentless, but finally, they lost consciousness.

Davis almost got the urge to put them out of their misery but suppressed it and threw them all into a new Empyrean Grade Life Ring he plundered from Autarch Helmi. It was quite empty other than having personal items. Feeling suspicious, Davis also skimmed the other rings he plundered and saw they were mostly empty, lacking great treasures.

ʼBastards came prepared…ʼ

Davis scoffed. They actually knew he would steal and grow. They seemed to have learned from the last time, so they didnʼt bring anything other than treasures that were useful to kill him.

Looking around, he got a whole lot of broken cannons that he could make use of to kill Level Six Empyrean Stage Beasts in a stampede. It was extremely expensive to buy one in the market. Davis thought having Sophie repair them would be marvelous, and he would have dozens of powerful cannons that would enhance the defenses of his family.

The rings were also set with numerous traps and tracking formations. He could deal with traps, but the tracking formations were hard to get rid of as they seemed to be marked by powerful Mystic Diviners. He couldnʼt be bothered to erase them one by one, so he flooded the rings with reincarnation energy, breaking all kinds of soul marks and seamless karmic formations.

*Crack!~* *Crack!~* *Crack!~*

Many rings broke and lost their spatial essence. Some managed to survive. Fortunately, he transferred all the treasures to a new spatial ring and life ring. He flooded reincarnation energy to these items as well, getting rid of any marks he could find.

It was usual for him.

Flooding reincarnation energy also got rid of the connection the owners had with their rings, so he woke up a lot of Heavenʼs Warriors in the life ring, resulting in him suppressing them until they fainted again. He sent his soul force inside the life ring and cast tight darkness energy ropes on them. It had the effect of weakening them.

He also went around, drawing a basic sealing inscription on their dantians with a wave of his finger. Even if they could unravel it, his energy was too powerful for them to destroy it. It would take them thousands of years before they could make it lose its effect.

After all, all of them were only Immortal Emperors. He had killed all of the Empyreans and Autarchs, not leaving them alive since they could pose a threat if their seals came undone.

He also soulscoured a few of them, knowing that they didnʼt leave any avatars behind in the distance in order to inform people. One reason it seemed that they went all out, and another is that creating avatars was not as easy as it seemed for those who owned physiques.

Of course, they could create avatars, but they would be useless, not having enough prowess, so they might as well not have it and concentrate on their cultivation. In some cases, even if they had avatars, it was out of this realm. They wouldnʼt even know what was happening to their main bodies.

As for why there was no instant response or reinforcement from Heavenʼs Warriors organizations, Davis finally knew it was because this plan was executed in complete secrecy. It seemed that Autarch Elluro Coldwing developed a distrust for the people around him, including Heavenʼs Warriors, and didnʼt say anything.

ʼHeh… it might be because heʼs seen Clara, who goes against the wishes of the heavens…ʼ Davis felt prideful.

Nonetheless, it was because Autarch Elluro Coldwing pulled only trusted Heavenʼs Warriors; no one knew what happened to them. He moved in complete secrecy and managed to ambush him. Otherwise, Mingzhi wouldʼve known from all the nets she weaved in this realm.

After making the Heavenʼs Warriors helpless hostages in eight minutes, Davis headed into the mini-realm.

Everyone was gathered and was waiting for him.

Davis created a soul body and threw the newly obtained loot and the Heavenʼs Warriors to him. He then turned to Stella and opened his mouth.

”Teleport us all to the Second Void Dust Sanctuary except my soul body.”

”Yes~”

Stella was waiting the whole time. The moment Davis commanded, she activated her shifting teleportation technique and flipped the world around them. Their bodies barely felt light before they were in front of the same tree but different than before, they knew they had arrived at the Second Void Dust Sanctuary in the Whispering Wildlands Lower Realm.

Now, Stellaʼs vestige body that was here was transported to the First Void Dust Sanctuary in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm. If anything happens in this brief time, she would be able to send information and permanently sever the connection to that world, although that would also make her lose the seed that is capable of creating a mini-realm.

Mingzhi quickly began advising the people to move before Stella reabsorbed one of the five Void Dust Tree Fruits she possessed to become more powerful and use her abilities with much more precision and density. At the same time, she also rapidly recovered her energy.

Davis blinked.

Was he the only one thinking that he needed to bring Stella to an unseen corner of this world and give her a quick pounding to make her energy recover faster?

ʼUsing the fruit to recover faster and maintain a high energy state is also good…ʼ

He nodded and internally convinced himself he was also subconsciously thinking about her future and didnʼt want to waste the Void Dust Fruit.

Nonetheless, he turned to look back at Mingzhi, Lea, and Shirley.
