Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3966  Returning The Little Girl

Davis decided on the course of action and informed Shirley, Mingzhi, and Lea of his plans. They easily acquiesced.

More adventures, and they were together? They couldnʼt stop themselves from feeling excited.

Flamerose and Frostrose blinked. They thought they would head home and finally make themselves comfortable, but it seems like a side quest has popped up, according to Mingzhi.

But first, they followed Illumina Lunarisseʼs direction and went to the hideout of the Ravendel Family.

”A job well done.”

Davis walked and stood in front of Mingzhi and Lea before nodding at them.

They were done with creating a solid foundation between the intelligence network and the trading company, which only Metenoa and Taiwu knew. Metenoaʼs territory had been closed off for a long time, but now, it is open to trade. From that premise, the Metenoa Family and Opulent Shell Company began a trade relationship.

Therefore, even if someone found out that goods flowed between them, there would be little suspicion.

To hide this connection in plain sight, Mingzhi used Taiwu to form more connections to other similar major powers and used Metenoa to also form trade with other companies within the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.

It made the Metenoa Family look like they were coming out of their enclosed territory in a long time.

On the other hand, Lea oversaw the list of treasures they needed, which amounted to more than ten thousand different kinds of resources.

Lea may not seem like it, but she had lived for four thousand years and was well-versed with herbs, inscriptions, and armaments, even if she didnʼt know a lot of details involving alchemy and forging. As a former Sect master, she must be able to recognize a treasure if she sees one. Even in recent times, she used her avatar to update herself on the myriad resources of the Immortal Emperor Grade and the Empyrean Grade in the true immortal world.

Davis was extremely satisfied with their work.

Furthermore, because they worked, he was able to enjoy the past two days in bed.

He praised Mingzhi again and again before he looked at Lea with affection.

”My Lea, I wasnʼt able to take you out in those cities and buy you things, but after we go to the Ivory Moon Sanctuary Lower Realm, will you still be up for it?”

”With pleasure~” Lea looked forward to it, smiling lightly.

In her heart, she knew it was her turn next to be in bed with him because the other sisters slept with him already. She couldnʼt help but feel her heartthrob slightly as she looked away, unable to handle his intense gaze.

Mingzhi whistled with a teasing tone, causing Lea to turn embarrassed as her ears adopted a shade of red in an instant.

Davis smirked. He didnʼt say anything about the gifts, wanting to present them at the right time before he went back to navigating the flying boat.

It took them three hours of travel time, even with the Empyrean Grade Flying Boat, because they had to pass through high mountains that touched the skies. There were no main routes to where they were heading.

”Woah…”

Mingzhi held her breath.

There was even a floating sea in the distance. She could see a layer of spatial anomaly holding the entire see above the mountain. Judging by the erosion below, she felt that this anomaly was present for millions of years.

Floating islands were fairly common, but this was the first time she had seen a floating sea. She stared at it until they eventually left.

Finally, they appeared near a remote region. The entire area was concealed by a unique forest-wide barrier.

”Illumina!”

When they descended, the barrier came down and revealed a town. There were palaces, but there were also a lot of humble buildings. However, many people rose to the skies, and one of them shouted out a name.

It was a silver-haired woman who closely resembled the little girl. She hurriedly soared while Illumina Ravendel jumped out of the descending flying boat and rushed towards the mature woman.

”Mother!”

Once they neared, they hugged each other, crying out loud.

The other people swarmed them, looking all relieved.

At the same time, the auras of three Autarchs and one Immortal Emperor erupted. They appeared in the skies, staring down at Davisʼs flying boat.

”Illumina…!”

Among them, another silver-haired woman called out to them. Her voice echoed with a melodious and joyful tone, clearly calling out to the Lunar Blackclaw Rabbit.

Draped in a dark blue robe, she appeared like the lunar manifestation, her beauty aligning with the moon above. She descended, nearing the rabbit of her own volition, as she stepped on the boat and held the formerʼs hands. Her eyes teared up.

”Iʼm glad… Iʼm glad youʼre safe. I was afraid I implicated you again…”

”My Empress. It was nothing… this life appeared in this world to be spent for you…”

”Silly… you have your own life to live just like now I have mine now…”

The blue-robed woman smiled at her with numerous emotions. She appeared as though wondering how her rabbit magical beast mount of so many years ago still held loyalty to her was beyond her.

Her eyes glazed, appearing moved beyond compare before she turned to look at the black-robed man. Her heart sank, knowing who he was. She was shocked when Illumina Lunarisse beamed the information about her return along with the granddaughter, something she didnʼt expect to happen after she was caught.

However, Illumina Lunarisse suddenly came back but with a calamity in tow. She was the only one who knew who this man was. If her family knew, they would blow their top and exile her.

Still, despite feeling limp, she forced herself to cup her hands and pay respects.

”Many thanks for helping my Illumina and saving my little Illumina. I will never forget this favor.”

”…”

Davis saw that she was a Level One Empyrean. It wasnʼt a bad cultivation base to protect oneself, but with the other three people having a Level Three Autarch cultivation base, he could only imagine how stifling it was for an Empress.

He was about to ask for her name when a furious harrumph left someoneʼs mouth.

”Hmph! It turns out that Glenda is the last Lunarisse Empress of the ruined Lunarisse Empire in the Ivory Moon Sanctuary Lower Realm. How dare she deceives us and marry into our noble Ravendel family in order to bring us trouble!?”

Davis and the others turned to look at another silver-haired woman who angrily complained.

It seemed the Ravendel Family also had the trait of silver hair in their genes, as most men and women appeared to have silver hair on their heads.
