Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3839  Remnants Of The Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan

Without needing to show their Empyrean level prowess, Tanyaʼs power was truly unmatched, and Stellaʼs ruthlessness was chilling. The space pirates learned the hard way not to mess with them. Their flying ship faced no more pirate fleets and continued the journey to the Earth Dragon Lower Realm without further interruptions.

Captain Praezen soulscoured a few of them, so he came to know the locations of many pirate towns, although they only numbered three. It seemed like the Earth Dragon Lower Realm was hard on space pirates, destroying their towns every decade once they were found.

Even then, something like eradicating space pirates was practically impossible, as this was how many people thrived.

No matter the age and time, stealing and looting were the easiest ways to become rich. People who didnʼt like to be under a ruler would almost always take this path and let strength decide their fate.

Soon, they landed in the pirate town but didnʼt dock. They let their ship over in the air like the last time and alighted to procure some supplies, like a map of the Earth Dragon Lower Realm, and gather some information.

They did buy a map of the Earth Dragon Lower Realm in the pirate town in the previous realm. However, it was unknown if it was true or fake. They could only buy multiple maps and ensure that they werenʼt scammed.

Besides, having multiple maps was also useful since they could see more obstacles barring their path, which would allow them to plot the course more optimally.

This time, Mingzhi and Yilla went out while being accompanied by Shirley and Davis.

Davis was still inside the flying ship. His avatar was the one who had gone out with them. He stayed inside because Evelynn called him to deal with Kalissa. Moreover, he was still exhausted. Six hours of sleep wasnʼt enough.

They canʼt run temporal increase formations if the palace isnʼt in one location. Otherwise, it would distort the space and cause their concealment measures to be useless. Besides, moving while running temporal formations was nearly impossible since it would take ridiculous amounts of energy to achieve.

Nonetheless, six hours of sleep was enough for him to get back and function properly, especially with the help of some refreshment pills. Davis knew he needed to be alert and focused in order to handle any situation effectively, even a thing as minor as dealing with Kalissa.

”So this is her…?”

Davis appeared in the unit that Kalissa was given access to.

It seems she was already decorating the unit in accordance with her preferences, making Davis blink.

This wasnʼt how a kidnapped person would behave.

Evelynn didnʼt explain much earlier. She smiled, ”Kalissa has promised to become my retainer and die for me, given the chance.”

”…?”

Davis looked at Evelynn with wide eyes, ”Are you sure you havenʼt seduced her instead?”

”What are you saying?” Evelynn pouted as she tapped Davisʼs shoulder.

”As soon as I revealed my aura, she prostrated herself with intense reverence. However, I made it clear that I wasnʼt Empress Hexena Xylusc, a woman who inherited her blood. Her face wilted, but it didnʼt seem like she was disappointed. It turns out she already knew that Empress Hexena Xylusc set out to grasp the chance of relying on the World Masterʼs legacy to overturn the fate of their clan. Of course, they had no idea who the World Master was other than that she was an Anarchic Divergent which mostly got forgotten in time. This information was only known to the royals, but Kalissa here is from a family who served the royals for millions of years, so she is quite knowledgeable and appears quite honored to serve and die for me even though I rejected her goodwill.”

Evelynn explained through soul transmission.

Davis nodded, ”And whoʼs the kid?”

”Heʼs called Fahzi. He is a human from the direct line of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnidʼs Royal Family, but his blood is almost fully drained and replaced with more human blood, no longer making him a royal. I guess his dead parents did that to save him from further discrimination and eventual demise. He doesnʼt know that, so he follows Kalissa like sheʼs his mother.”

At this moment, Kalissa hurriedly walked towards them after calling Fahzi and went on her knees along with him as she forced him down.

”Empress Evelynn, we implore you to take us in and restore the glory of the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan. We have nowhere else to turn, and we beg for your mercy and guidance in this time of need.”

Kalissaʼs eyes pleaded with Empress Evelynn, hoping for a chance to redeem their fallen clan and bring back their lost honor.

”…”

Evelynn remained silent. She was asked this the last time as well, but she didnʼt reply as she wanted to do it in front of Davis. She turned to look towards him as though seeking his permission, and seeing him not deny her wish, she smiled and turned to look towards Kalissa.

”I will grant your request,”

Evelynn finally spoke, her voice commanding yet filled with a hint of compassion. ”But know that the path to restoration will not be easy, and you must prove yourselves worthy of my benevolence. Any form of betrayal will not be tolerated and will be swiftly met with death.”

”Yes, your highness!~”

Kalissa nodded in understanding and joy, determination shining in her eyes as she vowed to do whatever it takes to restore her clan. She smiled brightly and zealously, looking like she could move forward.

”Fahzi here is one of the royals who is nearing the succession of the throne. There are three more princes and princes like him scattered in the Third Layer; their fates are unknown. However, since Empress Evelynn has arrived, thereʼs no need for them anymore. If you can inherit the clanʼs will, then our hidden forces will be yours to command~”

”…!”

Fahzi looked shocked as he looked at Kalissa.

He had such a birthright?

On the other hand, Evelynn looked taken aback.

Hidden forces? What kind of hidden forces?

If they had hidden forces, what were they doing in a black market?

”How powerful are the hidden forces?” Intrigued, Evelynn asked.

”We have a Grand Elder whoʼs a Mid-Level Empyrean, two more Empyreans, and thousands of Immortal Emperors and Sovereigns~”

Kalissa clenched her fist and looked so pumped as though imagining the future, where she would be proclaimed to have a part in saving the Three-Eyed Chromatic Hex Arachnid Clan because she was the first person to find Empress Hexena Xyluscʼs legacy and bring her back.

Her confidence ran high, but the return of their Empress wasnʼt the only reason. She looked at the man who was silent, knowing he was none other than the highly dangerous Divine Emperor of Death. If there was anyone who could flip the world in its current state, she believed he was a capable being!

Otherwise, the entire world wouldnʼt be out for him!
