Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3835  Working Out A Plan?

”Where is the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm?” Mingzhi asked.

”Here.”

Shirley pointed at a minute point between the Azure Tree Lower Realm, the Verdant Vale Lower Realm, and the Golden Crow Lower Realm. The Golden Crow Lower Realm was only north of the Verdant Vale Lowe Realm and diagonally below northeast of the Azure Tree Lower Realm. They formed a strange triangle, and somewhere within that vast space was the Obsidian Crystal Minor Realm.

”Is that accurate?” Myria asked.

”Probably not.” Shirley wryly smiled.

Myria nodded.

She knew how innacurate Starmaps could be, except for Lower Realms as they always form in the same place each time they are destroyed in the span of one billion years, but not Minor Realms.

Minor Realms met their end every hundred million years or so, and they would not form in the same place again. They would pop up anywhere within the three layers of the Three-Layered Universe, making it so that their location was shrouded in mystery or inaccurate most of the time, partly because people also wanted to not share benefits, protect the realm, or simply remain unknown.

Thatʼs precisely the reason why they were also trying to head to the Minor Realm which may not have been occupied yet.

”Myria, are you sure thatʼs not the Minor Realm weʼre heading to?” Mingzhi raised her brows.

”No, the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Clan had occupied this Minor Realm for over eighty three million years ago, as far as I am aware. In seventeen million years or so, their realm would face the same fate as the Astral Forgeheart Minor Realm and they would have to migrate to a Lower Realm or search for a new Minor Realm to take over.”

”…”

Mingzhi looked dumbfounded, ”How havenʼt they found the Minor Realm you spotted near the Azure Tree Lower Realm? Isnʼt that quite close when speaking in terms of the Third Layer?”

”As I said before, space is vast, and some regions have been shrouded in spatial storms for one mere second, consisting of a ripple, or for billions of years, making up a raging spatial sea. You canʼt just head out into space and expect to see through everything.”

”…!”

Many gasps could be heard throughout the crowd.

Even Mingzhi looked upset. There was so much space, yet they were still getting cornered.

”Fine, fine… Letʼs come up with some plans. Can we intercept the transport ship Fenren Jadelight is in now, considering the Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm is the closest to us?”

”No way.” Evelynn shook her head.

”It took me six or seven hours to get from the Three-Headed Hydra Lower Realm to the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm in a small cargo ship whose speed could be measured at the High-Level Immortal Emperor Grade. This ship also has a similar speed but cannot maintain such speed for a long time since its thrusters would overheat, so it would take eight to twelve hours to reach. Considering it would take us four more realms to cross in order to reach the Starlight Jade Wolf Lower Realm, it would take at least two days, not including the time used up in the realms where numerous landscapes would block our path, so overall, we could be seeing a travel period of four to eight days, and by that time, Fenren Jadelight would already be in the Obsidian Crystal Turtle Minor Realm and already be executed.”

”…”

”Does darling know this?” Niera asked with wide eyes.

”Heʼs the one who charted the path. How can he not know?” Shirley shook her head.

”In fact, if we headed to the Fire Phoenix Lower Realm instead of the Earth Dragon Lower Realm, we may have been barely able to reach them in time.”

”…”

They all didnʼt have a good impression of the Fire Phoenix Clan, feeling like they would chance upon bad luck if they were to go through it, but it seems like holding the nose while walking through the alley to block the stink in order to arrive earlier to the destination would have been better.

Isabella wryly smiled, ”Yeah, I think he is soaked in hopelessness, knowing that he couldnʼt get there in time even if he wanted to save them.”

”Fuck!”

Mingzhi cursed, looking frustrated beyond compare. The others didnʼt even have the urge to tell her to be elegant, as they were also not feeling well.

”What if we got an Empyrean Grade Flying Ship?” Mingzhi asked.

”Then the travel time would be significantly decreased, but who has such a thing? A Grand Elder of a Lower Realmʼs ruling power? Or the Realm Master themselves?”

Shirley shrugged. Who would they steal it from? Or buy? Did they have enough funds? Perhaps.

Who was going to sell it then?

Such a high value item would be immediately grabbed by major powers, making it so that they would be caught just by going near them in most cases.

Almost every course of action was blocked, making them not know what to do, so they could only imagine what kind of torment Davis was going through right now.

”Perhaps this is for the best…” Lanqua said as she lowered her head.

Everyone looked at her. She was silent from the beginning, despite her Patriarch being captured.

Perhaps she already knew that there was no way to save them with how smart she was, but once Lanqua said it, they couldnʼt help but agree.

They werenʼt in danger, to be precise. They were only going to endanger themselves if they went and tried to save his three friends. It was an absolute no when their children were also here with them, but if they let Davis go alone, which they never would, it was possible that he would die in battle or at least get sealed for eternity.

Would they be watching by then?

Not a chance.

Yet they couldnʼt do anything about it. It made them deeply infuriated.

”…”

In the flying shipʼs master bedroom, Davis lied on the bed, his expression dark.

He also couldnʼt see anything other than to contact the Heavenly Blight Hall and have them move for him if he gave them enough incentive, such as him joining him, but he didnʼt know their wants. For all he knew, they could kill him on sight as well. Still, he felt like he could try, but where could he find them unless he revealed himself or Clara?

There was no way he would use Clara as bait, so he needed to expose himself, but that was no different than endangering his family.

In the end, every avenue was closed, making his eyes turn bloodshot. The urge to just use Fallen Heaven swelled within him, as its range was practically limitless. He also just needed the names of the Realm Masters, and he would be done with them with a flick of his hand.

Then again, the backlash was unknown but certainly life threatening.

Just for killing an Immortal Emperor Void Class Calamity like the Unfettered Gargantuan Ice Fiend with Fallen Heaven, a spacequake appeared, almost killing him but also bringing in the last Candidate to force start the Candidacy.

He could only imagine what would happen if he used Fallen Heaven on Realm Masters.

Half an hour later, he eventually came back to his senses after going through every scenario he could possibly think of, which all ended up in him getting sealed or his family being found and killed.

”Haha…”

He dryly chuckled as he palmed his face, feeling quite insignificant.

In the pirate town, he had said to Evelynn something along the lines of how they were not out of the danger zone yet, so it wasnʼt wise to be saving other people. Yet he was furiously trying to find a way to save his friends, part of him making excuses that even a slight amount of danger was alright.

How could it be alright? Was he losing his sanity already?

Part of him never really thought about how much he cared about his friends, but it seems like it was enough to put him in this position.

He remained silent for a few more minutes before his lips moved.

”So be it…”

Davisʼs pupils dilated as he stared at the ceiling.

It was unknown what kind of decision he had just made, but a terrifying killing intent escaped his gaze, making the others on the flying ship feel a cold chill on their backs, causing them to flinch and shudder.
