Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3810  Immortal Kings or An Empyrean?

”Damn…”

Davis looked at the palms of his hands.

He couldnʼt help but feel nostalgic about how far he had come in the cultivation world.

From his life as a crown prince to a vagrant cultivator and then taking on a world-ending identity as a Divergent before becoming an anarchic one and being chased to death- everything made him feel unreal.

When he was a crown price of a mere Sky Grade Power, he never wouldʼve imagined such tribulations awaited him. When he married Evelynn, he never wouldʼve expected to take twenty-nine more women as his wives and many more wonderful women still pining to be his next despite the atrocious numbers.

At that time, if someone had said he wouldʼve had a harem in the future, he wouldʼve brushed it off. Even with an exception, he imagined it would be made of palace maids and other contemporary ladies that he would find anywhere in the city but never talented and remarkable women.

However, the reality was different.

Strength was worshipped and integrity was highly valued.

Even a Celestial Fairy like Aila Cherryweave was willing to be his twenty-eighth wife after she believed he wouldnʼt abandon her no matter the reason.

However, the most biggest twist of all was that he was Myriaʼs offspring when it came to the soul in his previous life before Tian Long.

That was shocking to say the least but now, he was pretty much used to it, even teasing Myria when he got the chance.

Lastly, the hundreds of battles he engaged in, the hard-earned worldly wisdom to navigate, the love he nurtured for his wives coming back to him as ripe fruits, the unyielding determination despite knowing he was screwed— all culminating into his unparalleled strength.

Davis was speechless.

Reflecting on his journey, he wondered what else lied before him. Although the overall situation hadnʼt changed, this kind of heaven-shattering prowess gave him more hope to look forward to in the future.

At this moment, a few beauties suddenly appeared from the sky.

They looked at him with unbridled awe in their eyes.

A warm smile spread across Davisʼs face as he met their gazes. He felt a mixture of pride and cheekiness as he got the feeling they worshipped him more than they respected him- not that he complained about it as he basked in their gazes.

One of them moved towards him.

It was none other than Myria.

Thinking back, his first encounter with her was not the most pleasant but later on, the partnership with this beautiful woman was one of strategic alliance, a bond forged through shared hardships and mutual respect in addition to Elliaʼs help.

Now, they were existences perfectly complimenting each other, holding unwavering trust enough to commit suicide together if need be— partly because they could probably revive themselves and the other part was because they loved each other badly, not wanting to separate despite the external danger of being together and the internal danger of assimilation.

Extending his hands, he caught her soft hands.

It could be said that he loved holding them and looking into her eyes.

However, an incredible shockwave burst out the moment they touched. His reincarnation soul and her life and death soul resonated, pulsing as though it had a life of its own.

Together, their Heaven Immortal Soul Vessels formed a temporary yet miraculous pathway and the resulting connection brought their soul physiques to a state of semi-completion, vastly increasing their prowess.

The shockwave sent a few ladies flying but Evelynn waved her hand and clenched her fist, protecting them from it. However, her eyes were wide with shock and the same could be said about the other beauties.

Davis and Myria looked into each otherʼs eyes. His reincarnation wheel appeared behind him.

Even they were shocked, unable to form words as they reveled in the temporary state of their physiques connecting. They could only imagine what would happen- no, they already had the answer to what would happen if their souls were to fuse into one entity and unless Davis tried to actively fight it, he knew he would be absorbed by Myria without fail.

It was no different from going back to the source and disappearing from existence.

Such was the true horror of the Anarchic Divergent Physique— Eternal Life Soul.

Thatʼs why only one reincarnation wheel needed to be out at the moment instead of both of them. Otherwise, there was a high possibility that they would start to fuse.

Nonetheless, they refused to fuse and the resulting temporary connection between their physiques currently reverberates in the Void Dust Sanctuary.

”Incredible… how can such an overwhelming force be present in the mere act of hand-holding…” Mingzhi sighed, wondering how many dreams were shattered at this moment?

”If itʼs a perfectly complementing physique like the Nine Yang Physique and the Nine Yin Physique, itʼs definitely possible to have their prowess increased by holding hands but… certainly not… to this degree...” Natalya added.

”Indeed.” Yilla absentmindedly nodded, her expression full of loss but also awe, ”Most dual cultivation physiques are complimentary because they represent yin and yang and dual cultivators mostly battle while staying connected with their partners in normal or weird forms… but the increase would barely be one level and rarely be two but for it to still increase by two at this level, what sort of existences are they…?”

”Is it six levels more higher before they started seclusion…?” Panqa counted with her hands, extending her fingers one by one, ”Am I dreaming…?”

”Husbandʼs prowess is seventeen and Myriaʼs is also seventeen levels higher after digesting the Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill. Their combined powers add two more levels to their prowess despite them being at the same cultivation base.”

Lanqua tried to make sense of it as her gaze shuddered. ”Is this reality…?”

”Iʼm so jealous…”

Tina couldnʼt help but utter as she pressed her cheeks with her lower lip out.

Her words reverberated in the hearts of everyone present. They also wanted to hold Davisʼs hand and enhance their prowess. How cool- no, how romantic would that be?

”Whoʼs going to receive an attack from us?”

Davis moved Myria to his side while still holding his hand and asked.

”Me!”

It caused Isabella to raise her hand, her eyes exploding with jealousy and battle intent.

”Alright.”

Davis raised his right hand and the Spear of Damnation began forming in his grasp. He had ample time to fully form it instead of its mini form and created a seven foot long iridescent spear with its tip glowing brightly. It was his- no, their full force.

He launched it at Isabella without a word of warning as she was already seeing it coming, causing Isabella to raise her hand and punch out with incredible momentum as she twisted her fist in mid-air and created a rotating force.

An incredible amount of Emperor-Tier Earth Dragonʼs earth energy gathered in her fist which she unleashed with the Spear of Damnation.

*Bang!~*

The spear struck the fist before it could make contact and the resulting force created an incredible explosion filled with motes of iridescent starlight. The Spear of Damnation instantly collapsed but Isabella also took two steps back, her eyes filled with shock as she made sure to use a power befitting a cultivator who had just stepped into the Empyrean Stage.

The rest also had looks of disbelief, unable to believe that Davis and Myriaʼs combined attack had almost reached the foot of the Empyrean Stage!
