Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3812  A Small Celebratory Banquet

Davis and the others were full of smiles.

The beauties were also no longer feeling unimportant.

They were shocked to learn that Myria wanted to be loved by them all, so it washed away all their envious emotions. Clearly, she wanted to be a part of them and didnʼt wish to take that glorious spot and look down on the rest of them like they initially expected.

After all, their image of her was that she was a proud swan deserving of everything in the world, so they guessed it wouldnʼt be strange if she eventually took Davis away from them. But it turned out she was the most sweetest woman among them with vulnerable emotions just like them.

They felt bad for making her feel that way and apologized to her many times.

With envious emotions having left their hearts, they rejoiced over the incredible prowess they had obtained for their family.

Their survivability has tremendously increased.

Of course, this wouldnʼt matter since Davis and Myria were still in the Immortal King Stage but this would vastly change when they enter the Immortal Emperor Stage. From there, their cultivations would rise even more as long as they obtained suitable resources and could hope to become invulnerable to Empyrean level threats.

This was a significant point in their familyʼs history, so they thought of having a banquet.

They gathered out in the open and built a big bonfire under the night sky and had numerous barbecue tables out, cooking meat for everyone.

”Ahaha!” Fiora laughed, ”That prideful woman Zenova Artoria shouldʼve seen how powerful Davis and Myria are now and she wouldʼve instantly dropped to her knees and latch onto his legs…”

”No way itʼs so exaggerated…” Mingzhi laughed, ”but I can definitely see at least half of that happening with how she came down, almost agreeing to be with him if we were turned into concubines…”

”True.”

”Ladies,” Shirley stood up and spread her hands, ”We must thank the heavens that he is an Anarchic Divergent. Otherwise, there is no telling how big this harem will be.”

”Ahaha! That couldnʼt be any more true!”

Many agreed as they sat around the big bonfire and set their mouths loose as though they were drunk. That was just how happy they were, full of hope for the future with the familyʼs renewed overall prowess.

In this setting, Davis and Myria were made to be seated side by side as though they were a newly married couple while everyone treated them and exchanged cups filled with juices, congratulating them for their incredible prowess.

After that, they began to talk shit about everything else including Zenova Artoria who was full of herself.

The way they saw it— she should be thankful that Davis even proposed her an arranged marriage.

Davis could only laugh at their statements.

Of course, he was also made fun of.

The ladies with a sharp tongue like Mingzhi and a few more made sure he was collateral damage to their fun conversation.

Their sarcastic comments can even make one tick off suddenly but he knew they were just venting everyoneʼs frustrations that they otherwise wouldnʼt dare to mouth off. With them having made up with Myria, he was the public enemy of their remnant hostile emotions. He didnʼt mind, considering they were only playful in their remarks and didnʼt really mean it.

Instead, he was feeling at peace, holding hands with Myria who sat by his side.

If they had been really angry, they wouldnʼt have allowed him to sit with her like this.

”Our origins donʼt need to be said. Let it remain a secret.”

Myria smiled at them, occasionally throwing a remark that would make them nod or laugh. But suddenly, she sent a physical soul transmission to him.

”I understand. I generally tend to not keep a secret that isnʼt one of danger but I think I can make an exception to this one. But rather than our identities being exposed and bringing shame, youʼre afraid that they would treat you differently, right?”

”…” Myria remained silent but her blush could be seen on her cheeks.

”You truly want to become their sisters…” Davis looked shocked.

If he had been thinking it was to placate the others, then he no longer had that thought as he confirmed this beauty wanted to be-

”This is my family…” Myria lowered her head, blushing to the ears, ”… the place I belong in… Iʼm not going anywhere even if you want to kick me out…”

”…”

She looked so sweet and tempting like ripened fruit that he wanted to pounce and eat her.

He suppressed his pounding heart and looked back at the bevy of beauties, realizing that Myria finally got over the incredulous relationship they shared in the past at the time of their origin.

”Will you teach me Judgment Laws?” Suddenly, Myria asked.

”Of course.” Davis quickly replied as he turned to look back at her, ”You have the aptitude to learn it quickly.”

If Davis didnʼt have Fallen Heaven, he wouldnʼt even know where to start. On the other hand, Myriaʼs foundation in Death Laws and Karma Laws was solid. She just needed to learn the insight that allowed her to combine them together and she would easily start comprehending more intents of Judgment Laws.

He had utter confidence in her.

”Iʼll also teach you the fusion of Life Laws and Karma Laws.” Davis added.

Myriaʼs eyes went wide, ”Have you learned it-?”

”No, but Iʼm close. Canʼt have Everlight do all the heavy weightlifting of bloodline evolution, right? Weʼll also share our findings and make significant improvements faster.”

”Yes~”

Myria smiled, holding his hand firmly.

She was so happy that at this moment she felt she didnʼt care anymore if he was still her son. This man was made for her and she wanted him.

After a while, Davis asked Tina what happened to the pills Zenova Artoria gave them and she described that they had been distributed to only one person and the rest four diluted pills were still available to be distributed by him.

Davis was okay with distributing them half-heartedly since there were only a few of his wives who hadnʼt received the diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill. Only five would be left without a pill in their hands.

He wished they had distributed the rest of the pills already so time wasnʼt wasted.

After all, it seems like eight days have passed since he started seclusion. However, he didnʼt blame them.

Instead, he was shocked when he heard who they had given one diluted Gilded Realm Ascendant Pill to.

It seems they all gathered and bullied Yotan into accepting the pill.
