Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3781  Intelligence Report

The golden-robed man said it was a relatively low price, and it was indeed relative, still costing three million High-Level Immortal Crystals.

Not anyone would be willing to spend such an amount to listen in on the ongoings in real time unless they were from big families or nobilities. To the denizens of a lawless land, what happens to the Inheritors of the Candidacy or the Divergents were of little concern.

If a Divergent appeared, it was more likely they would face the challenge than retreat in the face of fear, as it was also a chance for them to reap karmic virtue and grow powerful.

Soon, Zenova Artoria paid the bill and read through the information collected so far.

All three Three-Headed Hydra Clanʼs Inheritors have escaped.

All three Golden Ghostly Crow Clanʼs Inheritors were captured in the Ghostly Crow Lower Realm. It appeared as though they willingly surrendered.

Two of the three Wind Dragon Clanʼs Inheritors were captured in the Wind Dragon Lower Realm. One escaped.

One Wind Phoenix Clanʼs Inheritor escaped from the Wind Phoenix Minor Realm, and another one also escaped, still roaming somewhere in the Wind Phoenix Minor Realm.

Similarly, one Fire Dragon Clanʼs Inheritor was captured in the Fire Dragon Minor Realm. The other escaped.

All three Earth Dragon Clanʼs Inheritors escaped, excluding Isabella Davis, whose whereabouts are unknown.

All three Fire Phoenix Clanʼs Inheritors escaped, excluding Shirley Davis, whose whereabouts are unknown.

Two inheritors of the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin Clan surrendered. The last one, Zenova Artoria from the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin Clan, suspected to be a Divergent, is nowhere to be found and is relegated to a high-priority search.

Time Divergent, whereabouts unknown high priority search.

Spatial Collapse Divergent, whereabouts unknown, high priority search.

Thunder Divergent, whereabouts unknown, high priority search.

Hex Demoness, Evelynn Davis, related to the collapsed Three-Eyed Hex Chromatic Arachnid Minor Realm, high priority search. Suspected to be a Divergent.

Divine Emperor of Death, Davis Loret, also known as the Death Anarchic Divergent, whereabouts unknown, extreme priority search.

 ”…”

Zenova Artoria read as the list went on for hundreds of lines. Some names were included, but other than a few details of the escapees, such as their prowess and vague appearances, there wasnʼt much information on the inheritors.

Then again, it seems information was constantly updated as they were investigating the common people of the First Haven World who were privy to the events of the Candidacy.

However, she recognized a pattern when it came to where the people and the inheritors were teleported.

It was because they had all been sent to their respective Lower Realms and Minor Realms and not in some wild lands but settlements.

Zenova Artoria was awed by the World Masterʼs ability. Was such precise mass teleportation even possible at the same time?

The Third Layer, containing forty-eight Lower Realms and around a hundred Minor Realms, covered a ridiculous amount of vast space, making her wonder just how powerful that being was exactly.

As for herself— why she was teleported to the Three-Headed Hydra Lower Realm instead of the Lightning Kirin Lower Realm or the Blazing Thunderlight Kirin Minor Realm, she understood it wasnʼt the same for her because of her divergence.

She guessed it should be the same for Evelynn, which means it should be the same for her family, which was plagued by his divergence.

ʼThereʼs a high chance they could be teleported to the same place…ʼ

Zenova Artoria thought, but she wasnʼt sure where Isabella and Shirley would be. Would they have been teleported to their realms or have appeared near Davis? It was hard to say, but it wasnʼt her duty to go find them.

Scouring through the information, Evelynn understood a few things.

Shirley and Isabella werenʼt captured, which made her heave a heavy sigh of relief inwardly. On the other hand, it seemed Flamerose and Frostroseʼs existence wasnʼt known or confirmed. As for the Aurora Cloud Gateʼs Guardians, she saw information on them wasnʼt available yet, but she guessed it was only a matter of time before they were all found since the common populace of the First Haven World was constantly being investigated.

There was no sign of the Divine Emperor of Death, which meant he wasnʼt caught, but she could see the information that they were constantly sweeping the realms to detect him, even going as far as to use Mystic Diviners who prepared themselves to die.

This meant the more time passed, the more they were closing in on him. It made her worry, wanting to find him soon.

Nonetheless, she also saw she was suspected to be a Divergent. She didnʼt consider it strange since some people wouldʼve watched her undergoing her Destructive Immortal Emperor Tribulation.

There were even two more Divergents she had never heard of before, like the Spatial Collapse Divergent and Thunder Divergent. It seemed like they were always laying low in the First Haven World.

All things considered, Evelynn smiled lightly.

Her people hadnʼt been found, and the Three-Headed Hydra Clanʼs Inheritors had all escaped. This ensured that she wouldnʼt be prioritized highly, considering she killed a head guard, but her identity was still in the dark while the other three had been confirmed to appear in the same city, one of the main cities of the Three-Headed Hydra Clan.

However, she guessed she must disguise herself soon or at least change the color of her attire, or it was only a matter of time before one of her images from a projection was posted, and she was recognized by the man before her.

Perhaps it was already posted, but it is only available to the Heavenʼs Warriors for some reason.

”Mhm~ Interesting…” Zenova Artoria stretched her body back and reclined on the sofa, ”Such powerful beings… to think theyʼre being hunted down just because their clans had indulged in a millions-year-old pact…”

”Haha. The world is like that~ One should be careful of the choices they make and know not to deal with Divergents of any kind.”

The golden-robed man laughed wryly.

These so-called Inheritors were much more powerful than the City Lordʼs Seventh Son. It was a pity, considering they were all going to endure severe consequences or even death. He imagined that these beauties were lamenting the loss of such talents or taking pleasure in it.

ʼTruly just some young mistresses out on vacation after sneaking out from their families…ʼ

He thought since such cases werenʼt rare, although they would usually end up in ruin, making him laugh inwardly before displaying a bright smile.

”Is the information we provided to your satisfaction?”

”It does help alleviate some boredom.”

Zenova Artoria nodded coolly before waving her hand perfunctorily.

”You can return to your post now. Weʼll contact you if there is anything we need.”

”For the amount of information you bought, fairies can stay here for three months straight, and we will continue to provide information on the hunt as long as we know where youʼre staying within the realm. If you need more information or need me to book the tickets to go to other realms, donʼt hesitate to call me. Many thanks for your generosity.”

The golden-robed man stepped back and cupped his hands, bowing deeply before taking his leave.

”…”

Evelynn and Zenova Artoria looked solemn.

They didnʼt talk but continued to go through the information again and again, trying to see through some intricacies or some leads that could connect to the Emperor of Death or a few other things they needed to be careful about.

Sometime later, the both of them realized one strange thing.

It was theorized that a female Wind Phoenix Clanʼs Inheritor was captured in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm.

It didnʼt make sense as they heard a Wind Phoenix Clanʼs Inheritor had died in the Candidacy, leaving only two alive. If one escaped and one was captured, who was the other one? Was this information merely a mistake? This information appeared to be only theorized and needed to be confirmed.

They looked into it more and found a piece of familiar information.

[Captured by a blonde-haired, purple-eyed Heavenʼs Warrior of the highest order who is said to have come from the Abandoned Immortal Lower Realm]

”…”

Evelynn blinked at those words.

There was no one she could think of other than the little sister she treated with her own hands, her husbandʼs little sister, Clara.

Could it be a coincidence? Considering the world was vast, it could most likely be a coincidence, but what if it wasnʼt?

Evelynnʼs heart itched with the urge to find out.

The Eternal Twilight Lower Realm was the nearest realm to where they were staying. Was it also a coincidence that she was nearer to the Eternal Twilight Realm than further...?

Everything about it made her inwardly scream that she should check it out.
