Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3767  The Avatars Strike

*Ting!~*

Clara and the black-robed figure closed distance again, her sword and the latterʼs dagger sending sparks and shockwaves amidst their clash in mid-air.

Her purple eyes shone brighter as she tried to match gazes, but the black-robed figure refused to show her face or communicate, making Clara wonder if she was even one of the people she was searching for.

However, she couldnʼt afford to relax her guard. After all, she heard the news that most inheritors were at the Late Immortal Emperor Stage, so if the other person wanted to, they could probably kill her.

The fact that they could parry a spear from a Mid Stage Immortal Emperor guard and take on her strike even though she held back a little meant they definitely had the power to kill her. However, the reality was that they had not made a killing move against her even after two clashes, making her hope this was either Evelynn, Shirley, or Isabella.

ʼCould it be… Zenova Artoria…?ʼ

Clara wondered.

She had seen and heard about that woman and didnʼt get to speak with her, but she seemed cunning and calculative. She had heard her brotherʼs harem talking about her, having both admiration and dislike for her for what she did to him.

Most importantly, she was said to be an Anarchic Divergent, but Clara couldnʼt find any aura of divergence in this woman, so Zenova Artoria and Evelynn could most likely be excluded. However, she didnʼt know if Zenova Artoria was capable of hiding her divergent aura as she appeared to have numerous cards in her sleeves.

”You shall not parry my sword~”

Clara moved her lips, the resonance from her voice mysterious, making the world move to her Will. The resonance spread to the target, the black-robed woman. Her hands trembled, causing Clara to bring back the silver sword from the rebound and strike again.

*Bang!~*

This time, the black-robed woman blocked it properly instead of parrying it, causing her arm to be pushed back.

However, Clara furrowed her brows further.

The other party absolutely refused to display her undulations, covering it up all this while. However, fighting closer, she could understand it. No, it was better said that only she could understand.

”Since she isnʼt listening, move to kill her!~”

Clara echoed out.

”Seriously…?”

Panqa muttered under her breath before she launched herself from their flank. Level Three Immortal Emperor undulations reverberated from her body, growing stronger and denser as she focused her prowess to her right hand. Her nails grew like claws, becoming sharp and dangerous as she reached out her hand and swung with full force.

*Bang!~*

Panqaʼs eyes glowed with a dangerous light as though she was a wild wolf. Her demeanor completely changed when she entered battle mode. Her attack was as sharp as a piercing attack from a Level Nine Immortal Emperor, causing the guards to turn shocked, but even then, the black-robed woman raised her arm, causing the attack to fall on a silver bracer instead of cutting off her arm.

At that moment, Panqaʼs eyes flashed as she realized something. However, the black-robed woman waved her hand, causing her to be sent flying back.

ʼWhat power…! Is it really her…!?ʼ

Panqa was shocked, but following after her, Zanqua appeared from the skies. Her eyes were wide, and her right arm, although not gigantic anymore, perhaps because it was an avatar, held a tremendous intensity of condensed power. She held the broadswordʼs hilt with both her hands and smashed the huge blade on top of the black-robed woman, intending to cleave her into two as Clara instructed.

Clara retreated at that moment, but she reached out her hand while her mouth moved.

”The air around you is freezing~”

The black-robed woman looked up at the broadsword, but abruptly, she felt the atmosphere change, only to realize that she was now trapped in a frozen space. She could barely move here when trying to move.

To everyoneʼs astonishment, the Heaven Warriorʼs Mandate Laws even changed the affinity of the heaven and earth energy, or rather, it was better said that the Heaven Warriorʼs Ice Laws induced such a change in the atmosphere along with Mandate Laws.

ʼThis is… fusion…!ʼ Everyone screamed inwardly.

*Rip!~~~*

The black-robed womanʼs image flickered as the frozen space was cleaved through by Zanquaʼs broadsword. Innumerable ice shards flew everywhere from the devastating attack Zanqua unleashed, her undulations surging at the Level Six Immortal Emperor Stage, yet her prowess was high enough to surpass the Level Nine Immortal Emperor Stage!

”Unbelievable!”

Commander Dalun shouted from the gates, unable to believe his eyes.

Not only was Heavenʼs Warrior strong, but the group of women with her were also ridiculously strong. Just who were they all? Where did they come from?

*Whoosh!~*

However, the one-eyed womanʼs attack didnʼt seem to have worked on the black-robed woman.

She appeared some distance away and shot away.

But at that moment, a sickle came slashing through the air diagonally as it made its way toward the black-robed woman. It appeared to be attached to a chain that extended hundreds of meters to another black-robed woman, who was none other than Yilla.

Level Three Immortal Emperor undulations emerged from her as they filled the skies. She pulled on the dark chains, instantly causing the swinging sickle to turn into a deadly blade that came slicing through the air as it ripped through the black-robed woman.

However, it seemed to have not caused any damage since it had only cut through her afterimage and not her real body.

At that moment, the black-robed woman gained an enormous amount of distance from them, fleeing at an incredible speed.

Clara and Lanqua were quickly on her tail while the rest followed.

”Oh no… sheʼs fleeing!”

Town Lord Maluk Revera jumped, his body swaying along with his movements as he pointed at them. He quickly looked towards the blue-armored man beside him.

”Commander Dalun, quickly follow them!”

He returned his gaze, only to see their silhouettes disappear behind a mountain, but the man he commanded to chase didnʼt seem to have left.

”Commander Dalun… are you not going?”

”Hehem?” Commander Dalun coughed, ”How do you think a Mid Stage Immortal Emperor like me survived to this day? I know danger when I see one. The Heavenʼs Warrior has heavenʼs blessing, so she wouldnʼt easily die, but I… I donʼt have enough luck!”

”It is only with my smarts that I managed to live to this day!”

”…”

Looking at Commander Dalun adopt a righteous expression, Town Lord Maluk Revera could only think how shameless this person was than him that he wanted to beat him in his game.

”Well, if youʼre not going, I wonʼt either. This is no longer my jurisdiction anyway…”

Town Lord Maluk Revera shrugged, but to keep up appearances, he sent a few guards after them, although it was unknown if they could catch up to their ridiculous speed. Even he knew that black-robed woman who was an inheritor didnʼt seem to use one bit of her true power as she tanked their attacks like it was nothing, so it was foolish to chase her and corner her.

He was glad they chased her out of his town.

”Whatʼs going on?”

Abruptly, a white-haired man emerged from the shadows, causing Town Lord Maluk Reveraʼs heart to leap.

”Ah! Who are you!? Donʼt you dare-”

*Pow!~*

A resounding slap sent him flying before a cold, grating voice fell.

”You dare be disrespectful to a Heavenʼs Warrior?”

”…!”

Even while rolling around in the air, Town Lord Maluk Reveraʼs heart sank. He had almost offended a Heavenʼs Warrior. Gaining balance, he ran to the Heavenʼs Warrior and cupped his hands, bowing down.

”Forgive my rudeness, Heavenʼs Warrior. Right now, another Heavenʼs Warrior is engaged with an accursed inheritor-”

He began his explanation, feeling the trepidation in his heart grow as he felt like this Heavenʼs Warrior wasnʼt as forgiving as the beautiful blonde-haired lady with the Transcendent Truth Eyes.

Fortunately, the white-haired Heavenʼs Warrior didnʼt say anything and left for the place where the inheritor fled.

”Phew… I can also relax if a Peak-Level Sovereign like him is going to her aid…”

Commander Dalun sighed, hoping that beautiful Heavenʼs Warrior was still alive and, if possible, the other beauties as well.

This battle was far above his paycheck.

In the distance, Clara and the others finally cornered the black-robed woman before a valley within a mountain range, which unfortunately appeared to be a dead end, leaving no path for the black-robed woman to escape.

”Reveal your face~”

Clara imposed her will using Mandate Laws, but it was as useless as she expected since her command quickly shattered. The black-robed woman in front of her was unfazed, appearing to have increased her prowess to counter her moves.

She pursed her lips, ”Donʼt make me wait for it… elder sister Shirley…”

”Oh? I was found out already even though I didnʼt give off a single wisp of my undulation?”

The black-robed woman giggled before she raised her hand behind her head and pulled down her hood. At that moment, her lovely crimson eyes were revealed, along with a dazzlingly beautiful smile behind her semi-transparent crimson veil.

Her crimson hair with icy blue strands air shook ever so lightly amidst the breeze emerging from a few caves behind them.

Regardless, Claraʼs gaze shook before she threw herself to Shirley.

She knew it was Shirley because of her self-suppression technique, which stemmed from the Ice Phoenixʼs Soul Cultivation Manual.

Shirley extended her hands and wrapped them around Clara, her eyes tearing up since it was just like what the World Master had said. She was teleported somewhere near where Davis was, and the fact that Clara and the others were here for her confirmed it!
