Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3762  In A Minor Realm?

”However, she is barely alive, and we donʼt know why she isnʼt dead yet. It is as though her soul doesnʼt wish to leave to the reincarnation cycle. We covered up this information because the ones who targeted her may come back and try to kill her.”

Commander Dalun wept ever so lightly, ”As for the Town Lord, he genuinely thinks that there is no chance of his wife being alive and ruins himself drinking wine every day for almost two hundred years. He drowns himself in misery and suffering as though wanting to share his wifeʼs state of barely surviving. No amount of help could save him. Even his father slapped him, trying to bring him back to his senses, but he slapped back and caused his father to almost die, so no one tries to change him anymore.”

”…”

Claraʼs gaze softened a bit.

Although she could see Commander Dalun was just guessing a few things, she could find no lies.

Nonetheless, she only wanted to put Commander Dalun in a spot so he wouldnʼt question her authority as a Heavenʼs Warrior. She was not good when it came to lying or deceiving, so she didnʼt have confidence that she could keep this farce up.

Now, since Commander Dalun revealed the truth and put himself in a vulnerable position, it seemed that he believed that she was truly righteous.

She reclined back and waved her finger, ”Alright, Iʼll see what I can do if nothing comes up.”

”Really!?” Commander Dalun rejoiced but quickly returned to his humble pose, ”Many thanks, Your Highness. The Wesley Family will never-”

”I donʼt think I said I will help the Wesley Family.”

”Your Highness, forgive this foolish one, for I have erred.”

Commander Dalun almost facepalmed himself as he bowed deeply.

The Heavenʼs Warriors must not side with any powers other than the time when saving innocents from an unfair situation and protecting all powers from the threat of other galaxies and unknown forces. That was an ironclad rule placed by the Supreme One himself.

Breaking it and being found out would mean death in some cases and, in most cases, long years of imprisonment.

Clara naturally knew about this matter since she had heard about it from Myria before leaving. Apparently, this has been a longstanding rule from the time humans conquered this galaxy. It could be seen that Heavenʼs Warriors partook in defending, but they never went around transgressing or conquering.

In fact, they were banned from taking aggressive actions without a good reason, but as long as they had a good reason, then they were even allowed to execute the most innocent person in the realm, like ending a calamity before it could grow.

Indeed, they would kill Divergent babies within the blink of an eye, and Clara also had no doubt that she would do it if she wasnʼt with her brother and saved by Evelynn. Such terrifying, cold nature made her somewhat taken aback as she wasnʼt taught to be that way, but she knew it was the nature of the heavens influencing her.

”Bring me information on the current status of the major cities in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm. How many spatial anomalies appeared in the past few hours? Have the people have all been arrested?”

”No, Your Highness. Many managed to escape as this phenomenon is occurring all over the realms. Even our town had two spatial anomalies, and further towards the main city of the Eternal Twilight Sect, many more spatial anomalies appeared, thousands of them. We captured those who came from the two spatial anomalies, but upon checking, we found that they were unrelated to the Anarchic Divergent, who was supposed to show up.”

He then explained the characteristics of Davis and even mentioned the names of his wives, but the list didnʼt go until a few, including his magical beasts and certain spirits like Eldia. However, there seemed to be no mention of Calypsea, as they still havenʼt figured her out yet.

”…”

Lanqua and Yilla had to agree it was no wonder they were sent. Because it was their avatar, it lacked the aura from the World Masterʼs universe. They also made sure to mask that aura even if some of it was still present.

In the same way, there was no mention of Clara or even them.

It seemed that Mingzhi did a good job of confusing people with Black Claymore as she actively spread misinformation about the list of family members, so only confirmed information on the Divine Emperor of Death was released to the public.

ʼMingzhi is perfect…ʼ

Yilla admired Mingzhi. As a woman who manipulated information back in the Yilla Family to protect herself, she was full of respect for her number one disciple in dancing.

Commander Dalun continued, ”As for the new spatial anomalies, they seemed to be continually occurring without a stop, man and beast alike emerging from it, including strange lifeforms from that unknown space. However, there is no mention of these so-called candidates or inheritors of the lower realms who participated in the foolishness, so rest assured. We were commanded to subdue them on sight and send them back to their realms for punishment accordingly, but since they arenʼt here, we donʼt need to move out quickly, hehe- hehem~”

He corrected his posture and sly smile, ”Iʼll arrange for the maids to set up a luxurious place for your group to rest.”

Commander Dalun hospitably said, causing Clara to act like she was considering for a moment before she nodded.

He left while Clara and the others couldnʼt help but relax.

The fact that there were no sightings of the inheritors meant that Evelynn, Shirley, and Isabella still hadnʼt appeared in the true immortal world. It was just as they thought… their big sisters were still in the Candidacy, but what were they still doing there?

Nonetheless, they now knew where they were.

They were in the Eternal Twilight Lower Realm, and that was not good.

Here, Empyreans and Autarchs would be present!

Even the Town Lord here was a Late Stage Sovereign! A Late Stage Sovereign was equivalent to a Late Stage Immortal Emperor but more powerful due to the Transcendent Cultivation Method combining all three energies.

A few minutes later, Clara and the others were taken to their guest chambers.

They spent three hours learning more about this world and its landscape, searching for a place where they could plan their second shelter. They also sent information back to Davis using high-quality messaging talismans that were undetectable but would break after one time. Sometime later, their door was knocked.

It was Commander Dalun.

”Your Highness, there have been reports indicating that inheritors have appeared all over the realms.”

”Finally!”

Claraʼs eyes widened.

She walked out, and the others followed her.

”However, it seems that theyʼre extremely hard to catch since the majority of them are in the Late Immortal Emperor Stage and have a multitude of treasures supporting them.”

”Oh…?”

Clara raised her brows as though she was amused, but in reality, she felt that this was good. She imagined the inheritors were all returned with the items that had been taken from them before the start of the Candidacy, which literally makes them even more powerful.

”Quick, tell me the nearest site where an inheritor was spotted.”

They flew out of the palace, and Commander Dalun informed her that the nearest site an inheritor had been spotted was three towns away. He reported the visual on them had already been lost as they appeared to have escaped, but apparently, it was a woman of unknown origin, so Clara made her way there as fast as she could.

Since she didnʼt have to conceal herself, she used Wesley Townʼs battleship to travel.
