Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 3754  Taking Control Of The Great Desolate Plains

After they decided on what to do, a task force made up of avatars was sent to the east while Davis had Captain Praezen and Captain Lightsky tame the jade-green sandworm and crimson scorpion, respectively.

He had them train in the Three Revolutions Vertex Beast Taming Art.

This beast-taming art allowed them to control a maximum of three beasts. Accurately, they could control three beasts above one minor stage, two beasts above two minor stages, and one beast above three minor stages.

Thus, it allowed them to control one Peak-Level Immortal Emperor Beast with a prowess thatʼs two levels higher quite freely without having their soul force tied up a lot.

Indeed, the Three Revolutions Vertex Beast Taming Art didnʼt take up much soul force, only taking ten percent in total, regardless of the number of beasts occupying the nodes in the soul sea.

Thatʼs why only a few beasts or one beast of abnormal power could taken.

Most supreme genius beast tamers wouldnʼt choose such a technique since they tend to focus their abilities on quantity over quality in an attempt to overrun their enemies, like how easy it is for people to fall in beast tides.

Unleashing over a hundred beasts at a prowess thatʼs near to their enemy? Just who could survive such an ordeal? They would be clobbered to death before they could kill all the beasts. After all, their energy wouldnʼt last long enough to take down all the beasts sent at them.

However, the restriction of three beast nodes wasnʼt a problem for certain individuals, beast tamers who were already in a group like an army.

His Reaper Soul Legion was one such army. If all they had to do was sacrifice ten percent of their soul force capacity to have three or one powerful beasts, then they double or even triple their battle force!

Therefore, Davis had all the members of the Reaper Soul Legion train in the Beast Taming Arts he got from the twin supreme geniuses of the Beast Autarch Upper Realm. As for his having his women train in Beast Taming Arts, it was voluntary except for Tina.

Nonetheless, with the sandworm and scorpion taken care of, things became peaceful again. They now had control over the sandworm swarm and the poisonous scorpion ruler. However, the sandworm leaderʼs control over other sandworms was less compared to the control the golden ant queen possessed.

It was possible those smaller sandworms could revolt anytime or flee.

”Praezen, train your new mount well so that it never disobeys you and keeps tight control over its swarm. Plant these sandworms underlings surrounding us like traps so that no matter who may come, theyʼll fall to their deaths and get digested.”

”Yes, Legion Master.”

Praezen cupped his hand and bowed.

The little sandworms may not be as powerful as the golden ant royal guards, but they were at the Mid Immortal Emperor Stage. Right now, they couldnʼt afford to have any eyes on them, so even leaving a mortal who had seen them alive would be quite dangerous for them.

Davis nodded and took a glance at Captain Lightsky, disciplining the crimson scorpion.

Captain Lightsky was at Level Four Immortal Emperor Stage like Captain Praezen. Even then, he wouldnʼt be a match for the crimson scorpion. However, the beast-taming art he used made that kind of incomprehensible situation comprehensible!

However, they had to weaken it first in order to tame it, and Lereza did that part, allowing them to tame it easily.

It seemed like he didnʼt need to say anything to Captain Lightsky, so he turned to look at Tina and the golden ant queen. Myria was also there, and she suddenly raised her eyes wide before nodding and walking over to him.

”Apparently, this golden ant queen is at war and has already absorbed about seven magical beast cores from other golden ant queens.”

”…” Davis raised his brows.

It seemed that these ants were cannibalistic towards their own species. However, he remembered that most magical beasts were like that, and it was in the First Haven World that they were quite different since values were instilled in them as they grew up.

”It seems like as long as the golden ant queen absorbs two or three more magical beast cores of other golden ant queens, she would become a King-Tier Radiant Metaldaze Desert Ant. This should be helpful in controlling all the colonies in the surrounding three hundred kilometers and allow us to possess an army of a hundred thousand ants, as that would be her apparent control range after becoming King-Tier. Still, chances are that she would escape from our grasp because she could eventually become an Empyrean if she has enough energy to begin a breakthrough.”

Myria explained calmly before her lips curled, ”However, if Tina becomes a Level Seven Immortal Emperor first, then the golden ant queen could forget about escaping even if she becomes an Empyrean.”

”Right. Have Tanya hunt for cores.”

Davis commanded, causing Myria to nod.

Sending Divergents was risky, so sending Tanya was optimal.

Tanya was still not a Divergent, after all. Her relationship with her master, the Frigid Veil Sword Styleʼs Master, the Frostcloud Sword Empress, was not that deep despite gaining her inheritance.

Inhering a Divergentʼs inheritance doesnʼt make one a Divergent, and being together with a Divergent also doesnʼt make one Divergent. It was just that Davis was special due to Fallen Heaven, but even that doesnʼt go haywire and make everyone Divergent near him.

Otherwise, even his mother and father wouldʼve become Divergents.

In the case of Tanya Frostblight, she comprehended the Frigid Veil Sword Style and became extremely powerful while constantly making improvements to her cultivation base and techniques without stopping. After all, she was one of the main forces of their family, who always went out to complete missions for the Aurora Cloud Gate and bring back a ton of resources.

In other words, she also had immense battle experiences, and combined with her Imposing Sword Laws, even Schleyaʼs killing moves that abandoned defense would find it hard to pierce through her attacks.

Tanya heard Myria and nodded before she took off.

ʼDamn, I have loving and dependable wives…ʼ

Davis was moved, but he didnʼt say anything or make any changes to his expression. He stopped blaring his undulations and soul sense but didnʼt drop his vigilance as it wouldnʼt be a surprise if someone landed in their area from space.

He looked down, and hundreds and thousands of kilometers underground, Stella was building a new mini-realm. It was a small-sized mini-realm that could be completed in a day.

However, even a small-sized mini realm was hundred to nine hundred million kilometers in diameter. With Stella being a Level Seven Immortal Emperor Void Trust Tree, this small-sized mini realm would grow up to seven hundred million kilometers in diameter. After all, size wasnʼt dependent on the number of cycles she completed but on her cultivation base.

It took time for a mini-realm to grow, but it could also be supplemented with resources or nurturing the mini-realm on her own.

Nonetheless, the reason he had Stella construct a mini-realm here was that if push came to shove, they would escape to this mini-realm. Even if they got caught on the surface, people wouldnʼt think they would come to the same place after escaping.

Stella could make three mini-realms. With one still in the First Haven World, Stella could still build two. One was here in the Great Desolate Plain, and as for the other, they hadnʼt planned yet.

Then again, Davis knew that no amount of mini-realms would escape from the senses of an Empyrean if they searched properly. Even the spatial undulations could be detected when teleporting back to a mini realm, so he turned to look at the proud and haughty figure standing quite a distance from him.

”Nyoran, this might be a bit abrupt, but letʼs go somewhere else and put your powers to the test, shall we?”

Nyoran stood on the rocky hill as she looked into the distance. She wondered if Queen Nadija was doing well after being teleported somewhere in the true immortal world, making her inwardly sigh before she turned to look at Davis.

”Yes, my liege~”

She narrowed her eyes, knowing it was finally time to repay.

Even if she had to give up her life, she was willing to let them escape into the Nether Dimension. Only, she wasnʼt completely sure if she could meet his expectations.
