Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2140: Not Yet

Schleya witnessed the Villa Master appear with a handsome smile on his pale face. Like the Young Villa Master, the Villa Master also had pale features, seemingly sick yet not. In fact, the undulations radiating from the Villa Master caused Schleya to raise her brows a bit in astonishment, not having expected the Villa Master to have entered the Peak-Level Law Rune Stage.

”Schleya Vitalichor, itʼs been a long time since we met. Donʼt you think?”

”Yes.” Schleya somberly replied, ”Long enough to have my hands itching to swing my blade towards your… grandson.”

*Puchi!~*

Schleya cleanly swiped her curved blade at the Young Villa Masterʼs head after a protective talisman shattered, causing the expression of many people to change as they saw ahead fly a meter away and hit the ground, splashing some blood while the neck burst with blood like a crimson fountain.

”Itʼs over… Young Villa Mistress is not going to come back...”

Someone in the crowd uttered as they witnessed the Young Villa Masterʼs corpse fall.

Their Young Villa Master, who was close to entering the Law Rune Stage but possessed a prowess equaling Low-Level Law Rune Stage Powerhouses, had dropped dead.

However, they didnʼt notice that the Villa Master seemingly smiled without any hint of hostility whatsoever. In fact, Schleyaʼs actions seemed to be amusing for him, taken as though it was something she merely did to display her rebellious behavior.

”Schleya, my blood doll. You got tainted yet managed to escape from my Blood Pledge Villaʼs executioners. We wondered where exactly you went, sometimes even assuming that you were dead until we saw you at the Nine Western Territories Young Expert Competition, and then we learned that you sided with the mystifying Emperor of Death and somehow gained his favor even though you are defiled.”

The Villa Master spoke with an amused smirk on his face before his long crimson brows curved.

”Let me guess, that unknown powerhouse who defiled you is actually the Emperor of Death, no?”

”…!?”

Everyone became shocked at the Villa Masterʼs words. Of course, this was a widely conversed topic, but they couldnʼt converse it long as there were also secret Emperor of Death fanatics in their Blood Pledge Villa. They couldnʼt carelessly talk about him, so in the end, they couldnʼt arrive at an answer.

In any case, it didnʼt seem like the Emperor of Death and Schleya didnʼt have a relationship as they didnʼt publicly share their intimacy like the others. However, for the Villa Master to bring it up now, does he have unequivocal evidence?

”So you wonʼt deny it. Hahaha!”

The Villa Master couldnʼt help but start laughing out loud as Schleya didnʼt reply for three whole seconds, having her eyes narrow instead. The next moment, her crimson brows frowned as her voice echoed out.

”Whatʼs there to say when I was never defiled in the first place?”

”…!?”

Schleyaʼs words were like thunder, causing the people to be shocked before they almost laughed out loud. Their question wasnʼt a matter of whether Schleya was defiled or not. It was by whom she was defiled? That was what they wanted to know so badly.

”Uhm?” Even the Villa Master seemed to be momentarily taken aback, his brows frowning, ”Ridiculous… even if you tried to hide it, this Primal Yin Blood Purity Stone would reveal if youʼre still innocent or not. Do you dare to take it?”

As he spoke sternly, he took out a pure white stone. Many people recognized this one-of-a-kind yin stone that was a treasure used for dual cultivation, slightly increasing the quality of the primal yin essence during extended intimacy. However, it also had another purpose, and that was to figure out if a woman was pure or not. If the woman was not chaste, the pure white stone would react to the primal yin essence within the woman and find out that it was not present, turning black in a few seconds.

Schleya also recognized this stone. However, she couldnʼt help but almost laugh out loud.

”Itʼs funny that you idiots didnʼt use it on me back then, arbitrarily claiming that I was defiled and needed to die for staining the reputation of the Blood Pledge Villa despite what I said, but now, youʼre demanding that I prove it?”

”How can my people use my villaʼs treasures without my acknowledgment? After all, I was in seclusion, unaware of the things happening outside. You tell me, Schleya. Who and all do you want to be punished? How can I let my adorable blood doll suffer?”

The Villa Master seemed strangely righteous, his sharp crimson eyes sweeping through the crowd as though he was a reaping god, causing millions of wicked path experts to shudder.

”Then, kill yourself.”

However, Schleya uttered in a nonchalant tone, causing the Villa Master to chuckle before he threw the Primal Yin Blood Purity Stone.

”First, you prove if youʼre even worthy of the Blood Pledge Villaʼs attention to make such statements.”

Schleya subconsciously captured the Primal Yin Blood Purity Stone, wanting to crush it. However, her palm didnʼt crush it for some reason, holding it in her hands as she felt complex, even imbuing energy as though wanting someone to see this phenomenon.

ʼI am… not defiled by anybody...ʼ

As she imbued her energy, the pure white stone began to glow with a brighter hue, causing numerous pairs of eyes to widen in utter disbelief.

ʼHeavens…!ʼ The Villa Master became shocked, ʼShe is still pure… that means the Emperor of Death hasnʼt made her his woman… at least, not yet...ʼ

He couldnʼt believe that Schleya hadnʼt lost her innocence in the time she disappeared, a feat that was impossible for most women who left their protective umbrellas, making him wonder if the Emperor of Death planned to take Schleya later.

ʼNo, itʼs said that he loves virgins but had recently declined all advances made by the other powers. In that case, he loves righteous and virtuous women, but Schleya is none of these two… no wonder...ʼ

The Villa Masterʼs eyes couldnʼt help but flash in a strange light.

ʼThis means that I still have a chance to make her mine as Iʼve promised her all those years ago or use her as a bargaining chip for resources...ʼ

His gaze roamed all over the skies, but he couldnʼt sense the presence of the Emperor of Death or any of his subordinates. There were only wicked path powerhouses here, causing him to feel that such a figure wouldnʼt show up here and remain hidden. After all, there was no need to hide when they were practically the ruler of the human race, right?

Feeling confident, he stared at Schleya keep the Primal Yin Blood Purity Stone in her spatial ring, plundering it from him.

ʼI know that you met with that woman called Mo Mingzhi and traveled with her before trying to curry favor with the Emperor of Death. Being the eccentric young man he is, which I am now confident about, Iʼm sure he declined your advances and instead gave you resources just so he could make that Mo Mingzhi happy… Hehehe~ʼ

Inwardly, he couldnʼt help but laugh at his own genius detective and scheming skills.

Since Schleya was not the Emperor of Deathʼs woman, it was obvious that he wouldnʼt interfere much or interfere at all.

At most, Schleya was close with that woman known as Mo Mingzhi. For someone like Schleya, who sucked at exchanging words and communicating emotions, and to make it worse, her ice-cold expression, he was fairly sure no one welcomed her there, and the Emperor of Death or even Mo Mingzhi couldnʼt help but send her away once she reached the Low-Level Law Rune Stage.

Even if they did not mind Schleyaʼs presence, her value as a bargaining chip just shot through the roof as they would not go too far nor too low to retrieve her.

Schleyaʼs value was determined and fixed in his head, causing him to smirk as he decided what to do next while folding his hands behind.

”Now then, come kill me as you wish.”

However, Schleya didnʼt move forwards but looked around as though measuring the strength of the Blood Pledge Villa she would have to face.

”What? Are you afraid?” The Villa Master sneered and looked as though he suddenly realized something, ”Ah, since you were called the Young Blood Demoness, I actually forgot that you had a lovely and sensitive side. However, didnʼt I bury that weakness when I had you perform the rites and kill your twin sister?”

”…!”

Schleyaʼs body shuddered heavily as her head swiveled, her crimson eyes locking on to the Villa Master as she moved her lips, ”Courting death!”

”Heh.” The Villa Master sneered again, ”It seems you havenʼt forgotten Kiela yet, but I still remember every little detail, every inch of her body; the little corpse I refined and ate was indeed… a delicacy.”

”Aahhhhh! Bastard…!”

An ear-piercing, heart-wrenching scream split apart the air, bringing cracks in the space as Schleya shot forwards with her crimson crescent blades. In an instant, she arrived before the Villa Master and slashed with her bloody might, but at the same time, the blood rust energy flowing above the Blood Pledge Villa abruptly trembled, descending in droves as they covered Schleya and the Villa Master in an instant!
