The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2545: Chapter 2545: Scheming Something (3)

Shu Xing furrowed his brows, initially wanting to say a few reprimanding words, but before he could open his mouth, the little grandson had disappeared. In the end, he could only look at Yang Ruxin: ”Could it be that this kid was angered by that Li family girl?”

”Yep!” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”The two of them were really at each other’s throats just now.”

”That girl sure is formidable,” Shu Xing smacked his lips.

”Grandpa, do you mind your grandson-in-law’s background?” Yang Ruxin gave Shu Xing a teasing glance.

”As long as the person is good, the key is they must see eye-to-eye.” Shu Xing, who might have valued family status in the past, has been through so much that he views these things lightly now. Xinxin may be just a farm girl, but she’s better than any ladies from prominent families, and only such a girl is worthy of his grandson. Moreover, the grandson doesn’t have the pressure of inheriting the family business, so following his heart is quite alright.

”It’s good to have Grandpa’s approval.” Yang Ruxin nodded, ”Maybe this visit will settle cousin’s lifelong matter.”

”That would be wonderful.” Shu Xing clapped his hands together, ”I’ll immediately send word to the second son, let him come over as well.” Actually, he also knows the Li family’s situation; though not prestigious, they are at least upright in conduct. Li Jiaya’s thoughts are pure. If Shu Luo truly likes her, he will make it happen.

”Grandpa, it’s not settled yet, so don’t be in a rush. Let’s see how things go first,” Yang Ruxin hurriedly waved his hand. The old man was really too eager; it seemed Shu Luo’s marriage had worried the family quite a bit.

”Alright.” Shu Xing nodded, ”I’ll listen to Xinxin.”

At this moment, Li Jiaya ran out of the Yang Family in a mix of shame and anger. She had no idea what had come over her earlier; again, whenever she saw Shu Luo’s face, she felt like retaliating. However, after she ran out, she calmed down, took a deep breath, and found herself reluctant to face Lian Jinshu at home, yet not wanting to go home and having nowhere else to go, she could only stroll slowly through the village.

”Jiaya.” She hadn’t walked far when she saw that annoying person running toward her with a face full of delight, ”Finally found you.”

”Lian Jinshu, what exactly is your purpose?” Li Jiaya was honestly fed up, so she directly asked the question, ”I know you don’t truly like me. But what are you plotting so diligently for? What does our family have that’s worth your schemes?”

”What are you saying? I truly like you, I...”

”Lian Jinshu, there’s no one else here, stop acting.” Li Jiaya waved her hand, ”I’m not stupid. If you’re not scheming for our family, then are your careful plans for Yang Ruxin?” Her parents might be fooled by him, but she was very clearheaded.

Lian Jinshu’s eyes flashed a hint of panic, but it vanished before the other noticed it, giving way to a hurt expression: ”Jiaya, I really have no ulterior motives. I’m simply attracted to you. I genuinely want to marry you as my wife, and I promise to treat you well in the future, truly.” As he spoke, he stepped forward and grabbed Li Jiaya’s hand, ”You’re so much better than those aristocratic ladies who don’t dare speak loudly.”

”Let me go.” Li Jiaya was startled and tried hard to break free, but unfortunately, his grip was much stronger, and she couldn’t escape.

”I really like you, why don’t you believe me?” Lian Jinshu pulled Li Jiaya into his embrace; once there was physical contact, she wouldn’t be able to escape.
