The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2508: Chapter 2508: Going Into Labor (1)

Li Jiaya’s words left everyone stunned, but in the end, they all burst out laughing.

Leng Cuicui blushed: ”You naughty girl, if you keep talking nonsense, believe it or not, I’ll give you a spanking?”

”What nonsense?!” Li Jiaya pouted, ”If Aunt Hehua can have twins, you having another daughter isn’t a big deal. By then, Lian Jinshu can wait another decade, wouldn’t he still be your son-in-law?”

”Li Jiaya!” Li Yi could only frown helplessly, ”Getting more and more carried away, are you?”

Li Jiaya just stuck out her tongue, not daring to say anything more.

”Alright, stop making a fool of yourself here. Everyone’s gone, let’s head home.” Leng Cuicui finally sighed reluctantly.

”I have something to discuss with Xuexue, you guys go ahead.” Li Jiaya turned and ran out.

”This child...”

”It’s okay, Jiaya is a sensible child, don’t push her too much.” Dong Wenxiu reassured Leng Cuicui with a chuckle, ”Every family has its own path to happiness.”

”Alright then.” Li Yi and his wife had no choice but to give up and got up to say goodbye.

Yang Ruxin got up to see them off, but as soon as she moved, she suddenly frowned: ”Ouch!”

”What’s the matter?” Dong Wenxiu hurriedly rushed over to support her daughter’s arm, ”Where do you feel uncomfortable?”

”Stomach pain.” Yang Ruxin felt her whole belly dropping, ”I think... it’s time!”

”Get her to the bed quickly.” Li Yi, being a doctor, quickly instructed, ”Get the midwife here, and also inform Master Dao Xuzi.”

The family members hurried to help and brought her to the room, and others moved quickly, soon calling the midwife over.

The women followed into the delivery room.

In her past life, Yang Ruxin had never given birth; this life was her first time too. She knew giving birth was as painful as breaking six ribs. She now truly felt it as if her whole body were being torn apart.

”Madam, I’ve felt, the baby’s position is perfect.” The experienced midwife was massaging her belly while talking to Yang Ruxin, ”This is your first time giving birth, it will be tough, but once the pelvis opens, it’ll be easy. Save your strength now and push when I tell you...”

At this moment, Feng Zilan had already brought over millet porridge with red sugar and fed her two eggs.

Yang Ruxin wasn’t hungry at all, having just had breakfast not too long ago, but she forced herself to eat, knowing childbirth would require much energy.

”The pelvis is four fingers wide open.” The midwife happily reported to Yang Ruxin, ”At this rate, you’ll probably give birth in an hour or so.”

”That long?” Nian Qianqian, who never had children, couldn’t help but ask.

”Is that long?” The midwife laughed, ”Giving birth is like crossing the Ghost Gate, some women take days.”

”When I had my eldest daughter, it took two days.” Leng Cuicui added, ”First births are usually slow.”

Dong Wenxiu nodded, ”When Xinxin was born, I was in pain all night, and she only came out the next morning.”

Nian Qianqian sighed, being a mother is indeed not easy.

The contractions in her belly grew stronger, and Yang Ruxin couldn’t focus on what others were saying. Worse, the several babies inside her belly started to move vigorously.
