The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2533: Chapter 2533: Superficial Wounds (Part 3)

”Xinxin, Second Uncle owes you a favor.” Yang Guowei was anxious. ”Uncle doesn’t know if he can repay in the future, but whenever you need Second Uncle, just say the word, and Second Uncle will definitely help without any complaint.” He was the second among the four grandsons of Third Great Uncle, so everyone called him Second Uncle or Second Brother.

”Second Uncle, I’ll do my best, but I don’t know which direction he went; it’ll be hard to find him.” Yang Ruxin sighed, ”It’d be best if we find him, but if we can’t, don’t blame me.”

”Xinxin, don’t worry.” Third Great Uncle waved his hand. ”You’re just helping out. If people still complain when you’re helping, then they don’t know gratitude. Such people will get what’s coming to them sooner or later.”

Yang Ruxin heard Third Great Uncle’s harsh words and remained silent.

”Ancestor is right.” Chen Yingzi nodded hurriedly, ”We’re grateful to you; that’s more than enough.”

Yang Ruxin asked for the unwashed clothes Yang Ruqing had worn and then called Xiaobai over. Following the scent might be quicker, and she got Gu Cheng and Gu Ming to go look for him. Once found, bring him back directly; if he doesn’t agree, knock him out and bring him back.

The waiting time was hard to endure.

No news had returned from dawn until noon.

Yang Guowei felt awkward staying at the Yang Family’s courtyard, as it was time for lunch, and lingering would seem like they were mooching a meal. So, he got up to leave.

Dong Wenxiu sincerely invited them to stay for lunch, but how could they feel comfortable staying? They insisted on leaving.

Just then, eagle cries came from the sky, and soon, Xiahei and his mate swooped down.

Yang Ruxin patted the heads of the two creatures: ”Found him.”

”Really?” Chen Yingzi’s eyes lit up immediately, ”Fantastic.”

Chen Guowei excitedly rubbed his hands, ”I’ll give him a good beating when we get back.”

Yang Ruxin remained noncommittal, wondering if they’d still have the heart to do it once they saw the boy. What she didn’t mention was that the boy left last night, deciding to go into the mountains to avoid pursuit, hoping to cross over and join the border troops. However, he got lost, wandered all night without finding his way out, faced danger, met a pack of jackals, and fortunately, Xiaobai arrived in time, or else they might have only found remains.

Two hours later, Gu Ming returned carrying Yang Ruqing.

”Son, what happened to you?” Chen Yingzi nearly fainted at the sight of Yang Ruqing covered in blood.

”He got lost in the mountains and encountered a pack of jackals; luckily we arrived just in time.” Gu Cheng briefly explained the situation they saw.

Chen Yingzi and Yang Guowei couldn’t help but sway.

Yang Ruxin checked his pulse: ”It’s just superficial wounds, nothing serious. He passed out from exhaustion and hunger. A good sleep will suffice.” Saying this, she asked for some topical medicine, ”Take this home and apply it to the affected areas.”

Yang Guowei and Chen Yingzi expressed their deep gratitude and took their son home.

”Sigh!” Third Great Uncle sighed, ”That boy is really a worry.”

Yang Ruxin chuckled, but shifted the topic: ”I heard Brother Rulin has been meeting with a girl? How’s it going?”

”Haha, it’s settled. The girl will come to visit at the end of the month, and you’ll have to come and give your opinion, Xinxin.” Third Great Uncle laughed as he spoke of this.

Yang Ruxin glanced at the blushing Yang Rulin, knowing the girl had touched his heart, she nodded hastily: ”I’ll definitely come.” It was only a few days until the end of the month.
