The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2523: Chapter 2523: Don’t Mention It (2)

”We are an old married couple, why are you still so shy?” Qi Jingchen sighed softly, reaching out to hold Shen Junru’s hand, ”Junru, I really wronged you before.”

”What is the Crown Prince saying?” Shen Junru snuggled straight into the Crown Prince’s arms, ”Being able to marry Your Highness is my blessing, I’m too happy to even be.”

Qi Jingchen was instantly moved, and then as his body moved, soon the temperature in the room rose, and the sounds that made one blush and heart race followed quickly, mixed with the sound of the rain outside, sparking infinite imagination.

It was unknown how much time passed before the two separated, tidying their clothes again, and the rain outside had stopped.

”Maybe now we also have a daughter.” Qi Jingchen glanced at Shen Junru’s belly.

Shen Junru’s face flushed red again.

Qi Jingchen stopped teasing her, and instead spoke of business: ”Has Ruxin’s gift been sent over? Father and Grandmother have sent many things over, we can’t appear too stingy.”

”Don’t worry.” Shen Junru nodded quickly, ”Ruxin is our great benefactor, I wish to give her all the best, the Crown Prince Residence will not appear stingy.”

”I trust you to handle things well.” Qi Jingchen nodded.

”Your Highness, wouldn’t it be wonderful if in the future we could marry those two girls?” Shen Junru suddenly raised her eyes, ”They are triplet girls, and we have twin sons, it’s amazing just thinking about it.”

Qi Jingchen frowned: ”One of those two will become the Crown Grandson, the other a Prince, do you think Ruxin would be willing for her daughter to marry into the Imperial Family?” Although he hadn’t interacted much with Yang Ruxin, he somewhat understood her temperament.

”Your Highness will inherit the throne in the future and will need capable people, and that couple is definitely extraordinary. If there were an alliance by marriage, it could bind them completely to Your Highness.”

”Junru, your idea is good, but it doesn’t suit them.” Qi Jingchen’s eyes narrowed slightly.

”What if those two girls like our sons in the future?”

”Then that’s a different matter.” Qi Jingchen smiled slightly, ”But let’s not mention it again. The children are still young, let’s consider the future matters in the future.”

Marrying into the Imperial Family seems like a blessing to outsiders, but in the eyes of that couple, it might rather be a shackle.

Shen Junru opened her mouth, but in the end, said nothing more.

At that moment, someone outside reported that the Emperor had summoned the Crown Prince for an audience.

”You rest, no need to wait for me for lunch, I’ll be back to join you for dinner,” Qi Jingchen said as he walked out.

Shen Junru hurried to the courtyard gate to see him off, instructing the following eunuchs to serve him well. Only after the Crown Prince disappeared from sight did she turn back into the room. But just as she sat down, someone came to report that Consort Zheng was here to pay her respects.

Shen Junru frowned slightly. Since the other had lost her child and was injured, she had long been exempted from paying respects, so why come over? Nevertheless, she allowed her in.

”Greetings to the Crown Princess Consort.” Consort Zheng Daiyun walked in, slightly curtsying.

”Why isn’t Consort Sister resting? It just rained, the road is slippery, do be careful.” Shen Junru smiled, ”Please sit.” Then she instructed someone to serve tea.

After thanking her, Zheng Daiyun sat down, but just as she was about to speak, they heard the sound of a child crying from the adjacent room.
