Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 285: Chapter 285: I Can Also Be A Younger Sister

”Doctor Chen Tong, quick, save Doctor Chen Tong!”

Liao Ming and the others shouted loudly, rushing toward Chen Tong.

The onlookers exchanged glances, thinking that this situation was a bit too ridiculous, right?

It appeared that the unconscious patient had come to, but the doctor, who was famed for his superb medical skills, had instead fainted.

Everyone at the scene found it somewhat amusing yet pitiful.

Even Chen Dong was at a loss for words.

”Dad, are you alright?” The irate man who had just been shouting at Lin Dong hurriedly asked the elderly man.

The old man shook his head and quickly expressed his immense gratitude to Lin Dong:

”Young doctor, I can’t thank you enough!”

”Just now, while I was unconscious, I felt like I was about to die. Thankfully, you intervened and woke me up.”

Facing his gratitude, Lin Dong waved his hand and said:

”Elder, you don’t need to thank me. However, I earnestly ask you not to trouble this Doctor Qiao.”

Hearing this, the old man’s irritable son snorted coldly:

”That won’t do! Don’t think that just because you cured my dad, the previous issue doesn’t matter anymore!”

”Compensation is still required, at least a One Million mental loss fee for our family!”

As soon as he said this, the old man slapped his son across the face.

”Shut your mouth! How are you any different from the farmer and the snake? Someone cured me, and you’re still demanding compensation from them, are you even human?”

”Aren’t you going to apologize to the young doctor right now?”

The irritable son mumbled:

”Dad, what am I apologizing for? You were harmed by their Hospital’s staff first, and then they cured you. Isn’t that expected?”

”Still being stubborn, huh?” The elder slapped his son’s forehead again, angrily saying, ”Who told you it was that Female Doctor who made me worse?”

”This is my own fault. I overate some Things I shouldn’t have and felt breathless, so I went to find her. But as soon as I got in front of her, I fainted!”

Upon hearing his explanation, his son realized he had blamed the wrong person.

”Aren’t you going to apologize to them right away?” The old man knocked on his head again.

The irritable son finally bowed his head and apologized to Lin Dong:

”That... I’m sorry, my apologies!”

It was only then that Lin Dong understood the cause and effect, glaring at him with annoyance.

”The person you should be apologizing to right now is Doctor Qiao!”

”Doctor Qiao, I’m sorry!” The man then apologized to Qiao Bing.

Qiao Bing remained indifferent, her expression unchanging as she walked away.

Seeing this, the man who apologized Couldn’t help but say, ”She’s so strange, it’s like she’s lost her Soul.”

”Bang!” As soon as he spoke, the old man smacked him on the head again.

”Shut up, will you die if you don’t speak?”

This incident eventually reached the Hospital leadership.

The Hospital leaders understood the entire situation, coupled with Qiao Bing’s recent behavior.

In the end, the Hospital leadership made a Decision.

That was to suspend Qiao Bing’s advanced Doctor Qualification!

Although it was only later discovered that the incident was not Qiao Bing’s fault, the Hospital still worried that in her current state, there was no guarantee she wouldn’t have an accident next time.

So, for safety’s sake, they suspended her qualifications!

They asked her to make a thorough adjustment!

When Sister Bai Jue found out the results of how the matter was handled, she went looking for Lin Dong.

She spoke with a worried face, ”Dongzi, do you know what’s been going on with Director Qiao recently?”

”She seems as if she lost her Soul—her condition is truly dangerous. If she doesn’t recover, she might never be able to be a Doctor again.”

Lin Dong sighed and said:

”She has a Strange Disease, and recently that sickness has gotten worse.”

”Ah... Strange Disease?” Hearing this, Bai Jue quickly said, ”Dongzi, with your superb medical skills, can’t you cure her Strange Disease?”

Lin Dong replied with distress, ”It’s difficult.”

”Difficult? So there is a way to cure her? No matter what, Dongzi, you must cure Director Qiao. She’s such a good person, can you bear to see her suffer?” Bai Jue grabbed Lin Dong’s arm, urging him anxiously.

Lin Dong frowned, ”The only way to cure her illness is one method.”

”What method?” Sister Bai Jue asked eagerly.

”Sister Bing has Emotional Closure Syndrome, and the only way to cure her is to open up her emotions, to rekindle her feelings. But how do we reawaken her emotions? I’m at a loss for now,” Lin Dong sighed.

Sister Bai Jue’s eyes brightened, ”Dongzi, I might have a method. It just might work.”

”Oh? What method?” Lin Dong asked back.

”As a woman, I think that among all emotions, the ones between men and women are the most easily stimulated. So, Dongzi, why not try to pursue Director Qiao and awaken her love?”

”If her love is awakened, all her human emotions and desires should open up again,” Sister Bai Jue said.

Lin Dong was stunned upon hearing this idea.

He looked at Bai Jue’s chest and muttered, ”Sister Bai Jue, your magnanimity truly is vast.”

Having your man pursue another woman?

”Dongzi, are you thinking that I’m joking with you? No, I’m serious. Do you remember what I told you that night?”

”Don’t forget, you promised me back then.”

”Moreover, with Director Qiao in this condition, if you don’t save her, I’m genuinely worried she might become depressed and commit suicide,” continued Bai Jue.

Hearing her words, Lin Dong replied bitterly:

”Sister Bai Jue, even if the method you suggested works, Qiao Bing doesn’t like me. How can I pursue her?”

”Who says she doesn’t like you? A woman’s sixth sense tells me she originally had a good feeling about you. Maybe, her worsening condition is even related to you,” Sister Bai Jue said.

”Related to me?” Lin Dong was startled.

He thought to himself that her worsening illness should be because of Wang Xiuxin, right?

”Dongzi, don’t hesitate, please make Director Qiao my younger sister,” Bai Jue added.

”Make her your younger sister?” Lin Dong looked puzzled and perplexed.

Do I even have that right?

”When we’re together, we’re both your wives; I’m older than her, so wouldn’t that make her my younger sister?” Bai Jue explained with a shrug.

”Pfft—” Lin Dong nearly sprayed out a mouthful of salty water.

”If it really doesn’t work out, I’m okay being the younger sister... I’ll let her be the bigger wife,” Bai Jue considered for a moment before adding another line.

Lin Dong was left speechless.

Just then, Bai Jue spotted Qiao Bing walking out of the hospital alone.

She quickly nudged Lin Dong’s body, urgently saying, ”Dongzi, follow her. See where she’s going.”

Lin Dong was indeed worried about Qiao Bing, so he followed.

Seeing this, Bai Jue nodded in satisfaction and revealed a smile.

She mumbled to herself, ”Dongzi, I lost to you during last night’s martial arts sparring. But in the future, that may not be the case. I can’t beat you alone, but what about me and Director Qiao together? Can we not beat you?”
