Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 584: Daring to Learn is a Wonderful Quality

A new day.

The process of perfecting the Great Tree of Knowledge had concluded.

The Great Tree of Knowledge in its brand-new appearance possessed greater utility compared to before.

The integration of Order allowed the internal operation of the Great Tree of Knowledge to be orderly, and the application of [Transcendent Knowledge] also began to deepen continuously.

Just like last time, the development of [Transcendent Knowledge] allowed me to derive the Seed of Great Knowledge.

This derivative sequence greatly accelerated the rate at which the Great Tree of Knowledge accumulated energy.

And now, with the increased upper limit and strengthened capabilities of the Great Tree of Knowledge, my inspiration once again burst forth freely.

The Great Tree of Knowledge could still do many things, such as the “channel” for information sharing that was being conceived earlier; thus, the Great Knowledge Sharing Technique came into being.

And now the Seed of Great Knowledge would also cooperate with more people.

I had some ideas for “gestation” and “seed condensation,” especially after combining this idea with the concept of “information tiering,” I conceived an entirely new idea.

As for whether it could be realized, I would know after trying it out later.

Lastly… I positioned the Great Tree of Knowledge as not being combat-oriented, so at the very beginning, I did not derive any means of countering enemies from it.

Even now, I had not steered the Great Tree of Knowledge toward combat.

But… who said that attacking others absolutely requires attack-natured means?

The status of Grand Spellbooks was self-evident; their upper limit was undoubtedly the highest.

The reason I conceived of making the Great Tree of Knowledge my means of countering enemies was also a recent thought.

But after weighing the pros and cons, I ultimately determined that it was not quite suitable.

The main reason I conceived this idea was the matter Bev Ailana told me about—the threats originating from other Academies.

But after much thought, I ultimately found that the Great Tree of Knowledge was still not quite suitable as an offensive measure.

But… the Power of Knowledge could be.

And the Great Tree of Knowledge and its derived sequence could serve as the best carrier.

Putting aside these ideas with little practical use for now, many things cannot be forced; rather than forcibly taking, it is better to let nature take its course.

As for now… I should arrange for my daily habit of Meditation first.

However, after receiving the Meditation Method of Enlightenment spellbook sent by Academy Head Bev Ailana, after my daily Meditation, I would also undergo one cycle of the meditation spell to keep my own thinking agile.

As for the cultivation of the Five Senses of Body Cultivation, this had already integrated into every aspect of my life, so it naturally didn’t require setting aside extra time for cultivation.

Today was also a relatively special day.

The perfection of the Great Tree of Knowledge had ended, and I had slightly organized the Witch Sisters to give an explanation.

The main thing was to explain my upcoming plans and arrangements.

And the most important arrangement among these was the integration of the “Great Knowledge Sharing Technique” ability.

It was just like when I publicized the Power of Knowledge back then.

At that time, I didn’t understand what it represented, but now I knew: it represented the transmission of the manifested Order of the Domain.

It was a tool for them to perfect the Tree of Knowledge.

Now, with the addition of the Great Knowledge Sharing Technique, they could accomplish even more incredible things relying on the Seed of Great Knowledge!

It was hard to imagine the extent to which the Tree of Knowledge sprouted from the Seed of Great Knowledge would be magically modified by them later on… But this was naturally up to them to tinker with.

After all, being able to try new things based on one’s own interests and inspiration was better than being an unenthusiastic corporate drone here.

Since none of the witches here owed anything to the others, if anyone wanted to leave, or if a new witch wanted to join, I wouldn’t obstruct it at all.

Afterward, I also simply explained some issues regarding the Seed of Great Knowledge’s condensation, etc.

In a certain sense… it seemed somewhat like painting a big pie?

Except I would do my utmost to bake the pie I painted.

But for now, after finishing my grand vision speech with everyone, I ran off again.

After all, I didn’t really like staying in places like a laboratory.

Perhaps due to the primacy effect, the atmosphere of a laboratory always seemed to be accompanied by solemnity and rigor, causing me to subconsciously hold back, let alone expecting to have any good inspiration or train of thought there.

If you asked me, I preferred the previous villa; the atmosphere there was very relaxed.

So, the laboratory side should be left to those professional witches.

Moreover, some witches remained at the villa, and they didn’t intend to go to the laboratory side.

The Witch Sisters also seemed accustomed to my absence.

After all, with their abilities, they basically didn’t need to ask me for guidance to achieve whatever they wanted to do.

If they needed to ask, didn’t they still have the Shadow of Knowledge?

Moreover, now that the Great Knowledge Sharing Technique was added, once the channel of mutual communication was completed, if they really needed to ask me any questions, they could perfectly inquire through the Shadow of Knowledge.

Of course, they could also actively use the Shadow of Knowledge as a medium for my consciousness to descend.

Leaving the laboratory, the first place I looked for was naturally Big Sis Bai.

After all, perfecting the Great Tree of Knowledge consumed many of my days.

Although Big Sis Bai would come to check on me these days, sometimes even personally cooking food to bring to me, it was simply not enough!

Now that things were temporarily concluded, I naturally went to look for Big Sis Bai immediately.

Furthermore, Big Sis Bai even allowed me to set up a Teleportation Marker in her office.

“Big Sis Bai… Huh?”

When my figure appeared in the office, I discovered that Big Sis Bai was not there!

However, the other three were present.

“Uh… Hello, Big Sis Miao Hello, Big Sis Hei.”

I looked at the two figures hugging each other, deeply immersed in affection, and couldn’t help but awkwardly greet them.

“Oh? It’s Little Han. Are you here looking for your dear Big Sis Bai? She’s not here right now.”

Big Sis Miao seemed completely unconcerned, even tightening her hold on Hei’s hand so she wouldn’t get up.

“Mhm, that’s right…”

“Then sorry ha… I disturbed you, I disturbed you…”

My gaze subconsciously glanced towards Big Sis Stacy, who was at the front.

At this moment, she also turned her head and curiously scrutinized me.

I looked at this awkward trio of witches… I felt like Big Sis Stacy had become part of Big Sis Miao and Big Sis Hei’s play.

But looking at the current situation… not good, I had become part of their play too!

“We’re not disturbing you oh Little Han, you have to get used to it. Witches can be very direct in expressing their emotions. Let me tell you Your Big Sis Bai actually wishes you would… inside the office with her…”

“Enough, both of you! Stop teaching Little Han bad things!”

At this moment, Stacy suddenly stood up and reprimanded them.

It seemed she had been holding back for quite a while.

“Big Sis Stacy, don’t be angry. I see things quite openly. I won’t learn bad things because of something like this.”

I quickly moved forward to soothe Stacy’s emotions.

After all, she was a member of Big Sis Bai’s office; the atmosphere shouldn’t become too tense.

“I’m not angry, haa.”

Stacy let out a slight breath, as if adjusting her emotions.

“Since you have time to come over, Little Han, I assume you have perfected the Great Tree of Knowledge?”

“Yes, it has been perfected to an entirely new stage, and the Great Tree of Knowledge has entered a higher level. Big Sis Stacy is quite invested in my matters, huh.”

“That’s right. After all, it concerns the perfection of a Grand Spellbook; even a Transcendent Witch like myself cares about such matters.”

Stacy, having calmed down, also sat back in her seat.

“I see. By the way, Big Sis Stacy, do you know where Big Sis Bai went?”

“Bai Yu ah… She probably went to find that Mutual Aid Group. You should know she’s been learning the True Editing technique recently, right? It’s that group, a place where a bunch of witches gather to exchange their insights and such.”

“Oh, that’s it. Then, Big Sis Stacy, do you know roughly when Big Sis Bai usually comes back?”

“Not quite sure. Sometimes she comes back in the afternoon, sometimes maybe until the evening, since she doesn’t always come back to the office every time.”

“That’s true. Then I’ll head back first. Sisters, sorry for dropping by uninvited; I feel I’ve disturbed you.”

“No disturbance, no disturbance.”

Big Sis Miao responded with a smile first.

“It’s fine…”

Big Sis Stacy also nodded, but her tone seemed hesitant, as if she wanted to say something, “Uh, wait, Little Han.”

“Mhm? Is there something else, Big Sis Stacy?”

At this moment, I had already pulled open the office door, but after Big Sis Stacy called out, I curiously turned my head to look at her.

“That…”

“Stacy is too shy to say it, so I’ll say it for her. Stacy probably wants to ask you if your laboratory researching Grand Spellbooks is still accepting witches.”

Seeing Stacy’s hesitant tone, Big Sis Miao, sitting behind, took the initiative to make things clear.

“Huh?”

“Miao! This is my business! You don’t need to interrupt!”

Stacy turned around with an embarrassed expression towards the other two witches, but what she said didn’t immediately deny it—it seemed Big Sis Miao had hit the nail on the head.

“Big Sis Stacy, you want to participate in the Grand Spellbook project?”

I also asked formally.

No wonder Stacy was so keen on my perfection of the Great Tree of Knowledge when I came over earlier.

Although those who are keen on this might not necessarily be interested in the Grand Spellbook project, witches interested in Grand Spellbooks are very likely to be keen on my perfection of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

“This… uh… is it possible?”

Stacy saw that I had asked so directly, and the words she found difficult to say before were now out in the open.

She herself was also a more academically inclined witch, so her interest in Grand Spellbooks was naturally very high.

After all, the value of a Grand Spellbook… was too terrifying!

She entered the Main World in the same batch as Bai Yu.

She had originally heard that there were Grand Spellbook research projects in this Main World, and quite a few, so she entered here as a mentor to accumulate seniority, hoping for more opportunities.

Originally, she wasn’t this eager; she had her own preliminary plan, but witches… are afraid of comparison.

She had also inquired about [Transcendent Knowledge] and the project to create Grand Spellbooks, but she currently seemed to lack the qualifications to access these matters.

Unless she initiated a research project with her own [Transcendent Knowledge] item, she couldn’t conduct research in this area; otherwise, she had nothing, and the knowledge she possessed probably wasn’t enough to review.

But after she learned that her office colleague’s “little witch” girlfriend could research Grand Spellbooks!

It gave her a critical hit.

Then she came into contact with the Seed of Great Knowledge, which qualified her to rapidly accumulate knowledge related to transcendent techniques, instantly shortening the time in her plan.

So… she really wanted to quickly touch upon research related to Grand Spellbooks to accumulate experience for herself.

So, she set her sights on this person.

After all, having connections made things easier to handle.

With such a rapport, even if she couldn’t be arranged to research Grand Spellbooks, if she could connect with witches who had researched [Transcendent Knowledge] or Grand Spellbooks, she could gain some related experience from them.

“Of course, it’s possible.”

“Ah? Really?”

Hearing me agree so readily, Stacy was somewhat disbelieving!

She hadn’t even introduced what techniques she had mastered, what projects she had studied, or what certificates she had obtained, and I agreed just like that?

“My laboratory actually has basically no threshold. Basically, it’s a gathering place based on interest, and it might be completely different from the Grand Spellbook research project you learned about…”

“It doesn’t… doesn’t matter, as long as I can access research related to Grand Spellbooks!”

Stacy was so excited her speech became slightly incoherent.

But what she needed most right now was experience related to Grand Spellbook research.

She had considered that Little Han’s research team might be unprofessional, even half-baked.

After all, no matter what, she was just a little witch; where would she recruit witches who were very skilled at researching Grand Spellbooks to help her?

So, what she needed most right now was qualification.

Even if that place was just a group of witches playing house, Little Han was a witch who genuinely possessed Grand Spellbooks!

Moreover… she now possessed two at once.

Even if it was researching finished Grand Spellbooks, she didn’t mind.

“Alright… then I won’t press you. Big Sis Stacy, if you are truly interested in these things, just go directly to my laboratory. Any witch is welcome to visit and join there at any time. If that place doesn’t meet your expectations, you can also leave whenever you want.”

“It’s fine, as long as you give me this opportunity, I will cherish it well.”

Stacy took a few deep breaths to calm her mood.

After all, anyone, even a witch, would have a slight, uncontrollable nervousness or excitement when experiencing something for the first time.

“Since it’s settled, then I’ll take my leave now.”

“Mhm, safe travels.”

After a simple farewell, I also left Big Sis Bai’s office.

I naturally had no objection to Big Sis Stacy joining my laboratory.

Come if you want to come.

This place was the Witch Academy; the suffix was ’Academy,’ meaning even mentors had the right to learn.

No one knew everything from the start, and Transcendent Witches were no exception.

Daring to learn was truly a wonderful quality.

Actually, just now, I thought about mentioning that my former Counselor Teacher Ji Niang had also formed a professional [Transcendent Knowledge] research team.

But after thinking about it… I decided not to rashly introduce her to Teacher Ji Niang.

After all, favors weren’t used like that, right?

Perhaps only when Big Sis Stacy couldn’t stay in my laboratory anymore, or couldn’t learn anything, would I dare to introduce her to Teacher Ji Niang.

After all, Teacher Ji Niang’s research on [Transcendent Knowledge] was not as free-spirited as in my laboratory; the philosophies were different, and it would be very presumptuous not to make changes if necessary.

Now, after leaving the office, I was also contemplating what to do next.

I seemed to have quite a few things to do, but none of them were particularly urgent.

Having just finished perfecting the Great Tree of Knowledge, it was reasonable to take a short break to rest, right?

How about… going to Big Sis Bai’s villa and giving her a surprise tonight?
