Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 575: Research and Application of Domainization

“Do you know? Everything you are doing now will only turn into a sharp blade to stab your students.”

“Is that so? Since you put it that way, it must have stabbed them already, right? Otherwise, you wouldn’t be mentioning this to me, but quietly making a fortune.”

I replied with a smile.

Even without these Players reminding me, I knew about this; after all, the Great Seed of Knowledge was not merely decorative.

However, I still didn’t stop, because this was a win-win situation: I gained improvement, the Players gained new monster data, and only the students from the Transcendent Academies were getting hurt.

This kind of confrontation and game brought to mind the battle with the other me who communicated with data in the Primal Dream State; there was a striking similarity between the two.

But setting aside the fact that these Players couldn’t quite keep up with my pace of progress, their mindset was extremely valuable, and it differed greatly from simple ”self-contention.”

In the Primal Dream State, fighting against myself was about developing potential that I already possessed but hadn’t mastered.

Everything I grasped did not step outside my cognition; it was merely a way to quickly master known methods.

But fighting the Players was a path of constantly thinking, then improving, and slowly grasping unknown methods!

It’s just that this method carried significant risk.

But… I didn’t care; this was the confidence my strength afforded me.

Moreover, I had already organized the information about these things and shared it across the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Even if the information acquisition via the Earth Vein Appraisal Spell was scarce here, the information for appraising special monsters would be presented in great detail.

So those who could skillfully use the Earth Vein Appraisal Spell could quickly find countermeasures and also gain progress through actual combat.

This was a path to self-improvement; those who couldn’t grasp it deserved to be eliminated.

I still remembered that this Script Node… had a failure rate; death was not an impossible outcome.

As for those without a Great Seed of Knowledge… to put it irresponsibly, what did that have to do with me?

At this moment, my attention returned to another matter.

Through the live broadcast platform structured by the Great Tree of Knowledge, although communication was currently limited to bullet comments, I had learned some information from those Witch Sisters.

The Witch Academy had finally taken action regarding the dungeon.

I heard that it was one of the rarely-seen Academy Heads who intervened to alter the dungeon’s difficulty, which is why I was so relaxed.

The Witch Academy had already gone this far; if I still needed to worry about them, then they deserved the suffering.

Don’t forget that the ones gathered here this time were not just freshmen; freshmen only accounted for a very small portion; the rest were famous students from various Transcendent Academies, so their combat power was certainly not just for show, nor were their minds.

At this point, I was no longer just testing spells.

Spell derivations were not infinite in a short time; once the inspiration ran out again, I needed to try other avenues, such as… Physical Arts.

After all, I had the power of self-awakened Body Cultivation and had already cultivated it to the prototype of the Seventh Sense, but the Physical Arts I had mastered were pitifully few—only the Ritual Battle Dance used to enhance my physique back then.

However, because I had distributed too many Great Seeds of Knowledge, I actually understood the theoretical knowledge regarding various Physical Arts.

This included the Physical Arts information shared by Big Sis Bai, as well as some cultivation insights on Physical Arts shared by other Body Cultivation Witches.

And now was the time to practice them!

Among the numerous Physical Arts trainings, I still preferred the sword techniques shared by Big Sis Bai.

Perhaps this was favoritism… Moreover, in my Casket, there was also a saber given to me by Natalie.

I naturally had to find a way to utilize it.

After all, the feeling of holding a saber in hand was completely different from holding a book; that childhood delight made me unable to resist wanting to cut something, like a cauliflower head…

But killing monsters was just a formality, and Physical Arts were just a hobby.

What I ultimately pursued was the problem of spell ”domainization.”

The Mental Realm Domain Prototype, completed by Body Cultivation plus two Grand Spellbooks, was still only a prototype even after reaching this level.

This alone showed that the ability called domainization was still too terrifying, and I myself was too weak.

Theoretically, the power of Body Cultivation should be able to generate a complete domain without relying on the power of Grand Spellbooks, so from this aspect, I still needed to work harder.

However… combining my continuous spell derivations and attempts, I had vaguely uncovered a reason why I couldn’t complete domainization.

That was… insufficient energy.

Yes, a straightforward reason.

This was different from my talent of Self-generating Magic Power, which sped up Magic Power recovery; this was simply… an insufficient upper limit.

That is to say, not enough Magic Power Sources.

It wasn’t strange that I had this thought.

Putting aside deeper theoretical justifications and ineffable revelations and insights, let’s take a Spellbook I possessed as an example.

The first Super Consumption Spellbook I owned, ”Fire Rain Domain,” had a predecessor that was a basic spell, Fire Rain Spell, on a level similar to Fireball.

The Fire Rain Domain Spellbook was described by Teacher Ji Niang as a clumsy imitation of domainization, utilizing the characteristics of spell derivation to touch upon the byproducts of domainization.

This was a leap from consuming one unit of Magic Power to consuming a thousand units!

Now that I had mastered the domain prototype, looking back at this Spellbook now, it indeed had too many… flaws.

I didn’t know when it happened, but I now possessed the qualification to criticize Super Consumption Spellbooks.

This qualification was not granted by anyone but was a natural mindset.

For a Spellbook already mastered, it was just a Spellbook, a tool.

If the user held reverence for it, then you were not a qualified master of that power.

Of course, if one lacked the corresponding level, scorning every power arbitrarily was also not advisable.

Reverence for the power itself stems from respect because you are not yet the master of that power.

One must remember there is always someone better, and always a heaven beyond heaven.

“By the way, is this the Players’ method to deal with me? To generate nothing, prevent me from progressing, and just waste my time here?”

Seeing the long silence, I asked.

If the Players only had this method, then I would have to resort to a direct assault.

Previously, to avoid destroying this dungeon prematurely and revealing my trump card to the Players too early, I hadn’t really used the power of my Mental Realm externalization much.

Otherwise, directly clashing with the dungeon, engaging in a confrontation of order, even if I didn’t win, this dungeon couldn’t hold me.

Moreover, I also learned from Lucianne that for the existence of the dungeon, power at the level of [Transcendent Knowledge] could cause fierce confrontation, even a fragment, like the Heart of Cold Tide, could achieve localized breaking of the dungeon’s internal boundaries.

And they also found a breakthrough point within the dungeon by relying on this.

This so-called dungeon space created by the Players was actually an application derived from the game world’s development of [Transcendent Knowledge].

I could sense that the dungeon’s architecture was similar to my Fire Rain Domain Spellbook, but the power form of the dungeon surpassed the limits of the Fire Rain Domain Spellbook, possessing the power to reshape the order of the material world.

Strictly speaking, this was a Domain Prototype.

As for why I concluded it was a Domain Prototype and not a Domain, it’s because I haven’t witnessed what a true Domain is like.

But judging by my current confidence in being able to clash with the opponent, the other party probably hasn’t broken past the ”prototype” boundary either.

If someone told me this dungeon was a true Domain, frankly, I would only feel very disappointed.

“Calamity Witch… I have to admire the terror of your strength, but unfortunately, this dungeon’s permission is not geared toward annihilation, but a dungeon designed to facilitate the harvesting of Destiny. But just trapping you is enough for us; achieving our final goal is what matters…”

The Player finally responded to my question.

“I hear a hint of compromise in your tone. It seems you have more than one type of dungeon. Why don’t you use them? Or is the cost of using them too high?”

“Are you trying to trick me into revealing information?”

“You can think of it that way, because I am genuinely curious,” I said sincerely.

“To be safe, I won’t tell you any information related to that, at least not while we are currently unable to kill you.”

“That’s it? So cautious?”

“Of course.”

“Fine…”

I sighed slightly, realizing there was no need for me to stay here any longer.

Then… it was time to show a little bit of my true strength…

After all, constantly pretending to be a pig to eat a tiger might actually turn me into a pig!

Thinking of this, my left thumb gently flicked the handguard of the sheath, and a one-finger-wide blade unsheathed, radiating a faint cold light.

I wondered what terrifying spectacle could be caused by combining the power of reshaping order, condensed onto the blade through the Mental Realm Domain Prototype, and then unleashing a single strike?

I had never tried it like this before.

Just as I was thinking this, the Player spoke to me again.

“In case you are idle, I can charitably show you what your students are doing right now, how about that?”

“Huh?”

I was slightly stunned.

I hadn’t expected the other party to talk to me still.

I thought they would just trap me here and ignore me.

So I immediately retracted the blade into the sheath, then smiled and said happily, “Great.”

Although I had the information sharing from the Great Seed of Knowledge, I could only grasp the general idea by combining the shared information with the Destiny Gazing Technique.

If the Player was willing to show me a live feed, I would naturally welcome it.

Moreover… I seemed to be live-broadcasting in a way right now.

Although there was no picture, the communication was limited to bullet comments, which made it more like a group chat.

However, the Player’s primary-color pixel imaging gave me a good inspiration.

Since the communication channel between my Great Tree of Knowledge and the Great Seed of Knowledge was currently imperfect and unregulated, and the information arrangement was ultimately just a matter of imaging accuracy, if we no longer pursued substantial image rendering, then my idea seemed viable.

So… I acted immediately upon thinking of it, without too much hesitation.

In the bullet comments, I briefly explained what I was about to do, and then I began to modify it.

So, very quickly, the Transcendent Witches currently watching my no-picture broadcast witnessed some very abstract symbols replacing the original image.

The text mixed with symbols constantly shifted, making the Witches frown, unsure what I was doing.

What I was actually doing was very simple: clumsily imitating the ”code animation” I had seen before, using runes or special symbols to replace the pixels that formed the image.

As I continuously refined the entire process, many Witches figured out what I was doing, followed by a knowing smile.

This form of broadcast was a first for them; it was indeed quite interesting.

However, while I was making this attempt, the Players also presented the image to me.

This perspective seemed derived from a surveillance view; it appeared that the Players still had permission to view anywhere within the dungeon space.

“So many perspectives? Hasn’t your dungeon authority been constrained?”

I exclaimed in surprise.

“You actually know about that?”

“Shouldn’t I know? Because of this force, the dungeon space I am in was also affected, right? If it weren’t for this being a custom dungeon and you repairing it quickly, I might have already escaped, wouldn’t I have?”

I said with a smile, though I didn’t mention that I stayed intentionally.

“Hmph! Even if we are sanctioned by the World Will, taking care of your students is easy for us, even for you!”

“Alright, alright, alright.”

I complied without arguing.

However, I made a note of her words, because… they actually said they were sanctioned by the World Will?

I remembered chatting with those Witch Sisters, but the situation I learned was that an Academy Head made the move…

Perhaps they had misunderstood something.

Fortunately… I almost revealed some critical information earlier.

I lightly stomped my foot, causing a huge pixel block beneath my feet to crack from the force.

I took out a not-too-large pixel block and placed it on the flat ground as a stool.

And now, the picture the Player broadcasted to me was being spread to the Witches in another way by me.

The resulting image was truly too abstract.

But I was constantly updating it, providing a satisfying image to the Witch Sisters who were still watching my broadcast.

As for the students at this moment… after a period of rallying personnel and finalizing plans, they had gradually begun to conquer the dungeon.

And the so-called conquest naturally meant breaking through those dungeon nodes.

After all, the release of a domain required a core subject; if the subject was destroyed, the domain naturally couldn’t be maintained.

It was like my Mental Realm Domain Prototype; the core subject was myself.

If someone crushed my main body, my Mental Realm naturally couldn’t be maintained because the one controlling that power was me, not the Great Tree of Knowledge in the Mental Realm externalization.

That Great Tree of Knowledge was merely a manifestation of the domain’s power.

But clearly, the Players’ domain was completely different from mine.

The subject controlling that power wasn’t a living person, or even life itself.

Therefore, for them to manifest a domain here, they naturally needed a core subject.

However, they indeed had their own means, scattering these core subjects.

This completely different method of domain control couldn’t be judged as superior or inferior; it could only be said that each had its own merits.

However, the Players’ approach was an inspiration to me.

Perhaps… the core subject of the domain power I controlled could also be something other than myself?

But clearly, the Mental Realm, as a domain power, might not be suitable for this kind of inspiration and enlightenment.

“By the way… is this all you’re showing me? It looks like your dungeon is about to be dismantled by them.”

I couldn’t help but complain at this point.

They managed to mess up a heaven-blessed start like this; they certainly had some skill.

But thinking about the comparison between the number of Players participating in this dungeon and the number of students… the Players were truly trying their best to narrow the gap in strength.

Perhaps they also hadn’t expected the combat strength of the senior students to be so terrifying?

Coupled with the damage caused to their dungeon by another Heart of Cold Tide, maintaining home-field advantage was indeed not easy.

Besides, the Players mentioned earlier that this dungeon wasn’t specifically for annihilation, but for harvesting Destiny…

“Dismantle? No, no, no… You don’t think they will continue to have things go so smoothly, do you? What they are dismantling are merely the structures of pixels that can be freely fabricated. If we don’t create an illusion of smooth progress and a glimmer of hope for rescue, how can we deliver a despair as if they fell into hell!”

The Player immediately corrected my view when hearing my words, his tone even carrying a hint of mockery.

They never forgot what they paid such a heavy price for!

“I see… So your main goal is still harvesting Destiny, right? So this is the method you use to harvest it?”

I nodded in sudden realization.

It seemed I still underestimated these Players.
