Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 581: The Unification of the Domain, the Perfection of Order

The new semester had already begun for over a week.

For many students, this was still a relatively uneventful day; perhaps many students were just getting over their holiday syndrome.

But even so, many students still hadn’t shed the shadow cast by the players.

This matter was even trending with increasing intensity within the Transcendent Academy.

The reporters from the Press Club who survived the hotel incident were lamenting the difficulty of their survival and denouncing the ugly faces of those players.

Even ordinary students who clearly experienced nothing acted as if they had gone through it themselves, creating a sense of crisis as if the sky were falling—and this was the Academy Network.

And on such a “peaceful” day, many Transcendent Witches occasionally paid attention to a certain direction within the Witch Academy.

Nothing was happening, yet it seemed many witches were waiting for something.

Even witches unaware of the situation slightly noticed some minor issues today: the Earth Vein Appraisal Spell brought by the Seed of Great Knowledge presented less information.

However, for them, this was not a very serious matter.

Witches had long lives; from the appearance of the Seed of Great Knowledge until now, it hadn’t reached a point where people or witches became severely dependent on it.

Witches who paid no mind to outside matters would know the general situation if they inquired slightly.

Witches who knew the situation would also enthusiastically tell her that today… was the day Little Han would maintain and update the Great Tree of Knowledge.

As for how long it would last, no one knew.

In the new laboratory.

This laboratory prepared by Academy Head Mei for me and the assembled Witch Sisters was fully equipped, to the point that many witches, including myself, were somewhat unaccustomed to it.

After all, we hadn’t fought such a rich battle before.

However, it was easy to go from frugality to extravagance; everyone quickly became familiar with even this level of equipment.

Although today was a very important matter for every witch present, everyone was still attending to their own tasks.

This wasn’t due to a lack of cooperative spirit.

It was because… as the owner of the Great Tree of Knowledge, I alone could complete the subsequent operations.

Furthermore, all preparations concerning the various aspects of the Great Tree of Knowledge had already been shared within the Tree of Knowledge; one could say the existence of the Great Tree of Knowledge had changed the way we cooperated.

It was no longer confined to superficial interaction and communication, and was even more efficient than mainstream methods like the Telepathic Communication Spell.

If before I only had an idea, a train of thought, wanting to use the Power of Knowledge to unify Transcendent Power and Informational Data, I had no clue how to proceed.

But now I understood how to do it.

The key point remained the unification of the Domain Prototype and Order.

Although my current Domain Prototype could be said to be the Body Cultivation Mental Realm, this was not entirely accurate; it also contained the power of the two Grand Spellbooks.

Previously, my thinking was too narrow, and I didn’t know much about the so-called Domain, nor about Domainization.

The main conflict point was concentrated on the fact that both Grand Spellbooks and Body Cultivation Strength could independently achieve Domain shaping, but the situation I encountered now was relatively complex, which I arbitrarily defined as a semi-finished product akin to “patchwork.”

This was the main problem I faced.

My current ability couldn’t handle the Domain Prototype formed by three powers far exceeding my cognition.

“Chaos” was the primary reason.

If I looked at it now from the perspective of an “insider,” things would be much simpler.

Those kind Witch Sisters’ “tips” about Domainization common knowledge had forced me to cram a lot of related knowledge, so my current theoretical understanding of Domains was terrifyingly strong.

Therefore, from my current perspective, viewing these as a natural whole made everything seem simpler.

After all the simplifications, what I needed to do boiled down to one thing.

Since the three power systems had merged unintentionally, there must be a connection between them, and I only needed to unify the Order derived from the three.

The manifestation of Order was the Power of Knowledge.

My current goal was to perfect the Great Tree of Knowledge, but perfecting the Great Tree of Knowledge was not my only goal; as the saying went, plans never catch up with changes, and a goal was merely a direction for my efforts, not a shackle restricting my development.

I suddenly discovered that unifying the Order of the Domain Prototype seemed to be the first major problem I needed to solve.

And with the resolution of this problem, the work of perfecting the Great Tree of Knowledge would naturally follow.

To complete the unification of Order, a basic structure was required; only after the foundation was firm could we discuss anything else.

And what was the framework that formed Order?

The Domain Prototype.

What was the Domain Prototype based on?

The Body Cultivation Mental Realm, which was the sixth sense of Body Cultivation—Heart Sense.

The two Grand Spellbooks were clearly not the foundation, as I hadn’t fully figured out either of them, let alone the so-called Domainization.

Therefore, what could be Domainized had to be the power system of Body Cultivation, with the powers of the two Grand Spellbooks playing another role within it.

And this role must be very significant!

Otherwise, why would the manifestation of Order shown in this Body Cultivation Domain Prototype be a power system closely related to the two Grand Spellbooks?

After all, due to their cultivation path, Body Cultivators gave the impression of being extremely violent, and Physical Arts were purely techniques for killing enemies…

But I couldn’t be misled by this inherent impression.

I was a self-awakened Body Cultivator, and my Body Cultivation power hadn’t been influenced by Physical Arts cultivation, making it purer.

Of course, perhaps what I perceived as “pure” might be considered an anomaly by other Body Cultivation experts?

As I gradually deepened my understanding of Body Cultivation, I was also progressively shedding my cognitive biases.

The Five Senses Cultivation I believed in wasn’t the entirety of Body Cultivation, but merely one category within it.

However, the cultivation of the Five Senses was integrated into various Body Cultivation methods, so cultivating the Five Senses cultivation separately seemed… very strange.

Perhaps this cultivation method was only suitable for self-awakened Body Cultivators like me who hadn’t been influenced by other cultivation methods… Therefore, for Body Cultivation, there was no need for me to focus only on “fighting and killing”; everyone followed a different path.

When I clearly differed from others, I needed to define the path I was taking.

Definition is the anchoring by which life understands unknown existence; it can point to an entirely new direction, or it can lead one astray.

Eliminating… or rather, suppressing cognitive bias, would be a necessary path for me right now.

The issue of how to unify the Order of the Power of Knowledge with the Heart Sense could only be coordinated by myself.

Returning to the essence of the problem, the Heart Sense was the sixth sense independent of the Five Senses.

The Heart Sense gradually allowed me to perceive the “heart’s voice” of life.

Of course, this voice needed quotation marks; this wasn’t mind-reading, nor was it a spell ability—it was a pure perception.

Perceiving another person’s heartbeat, perceiving the contraction of their muscles, perceiving the surging of their blood, understanding through perception independent of the Five Senses, and… resonating.

Gradually, I could also perceive the other person’s emotions—joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, hatred, disgust… very faint, but very clear.

Whether it was these bodily operations or emotional fluctuations, they could actually be perceived using the Five Senses, but this was a “Compound Perception” formed based on the Five Senses, cognition, conditional reflexes, and other combined factors.

It was like using “hearing” to perceive sound and then understanding that it was a heartbeat, or using “sight” to observe changes in the other person’s expression and analyzing that they were smiling.

But now, the Heart Sense, through another independent perception, directly bypassed complex analysis to understand the reactions of the life form being observed, and was less likely to be misled.

Then the Heart Sense directly inherited concepts like heartbeat and emotion learned from “Compound Perception” and transformed into the sixth sense.

Therefore, the appearance of the sixth sense didn’t cause me much trouble; I adapted to it very quickly.

And what was the Mental Realm?

The Mental Realm was also the Heart Sense’s perception of the self, an inner realm constructed by self-cognition.

It was also called the Body Cultivation Realm.

It was the power within the Body Cultivation power system similar to Body Cultivation Energy, also called “Mental Power,” but no matter what it was called, it was just a name.

This description seemed similar to when I self-awakened to Body Cultivation, and it was undeniable that self-awakened Body Cultivators were more likely to embark on the Body Cultivation path and more easily awaken perceptions beyond the Five Senses because of this.

“Mental Realm,” described with the concepts I currently understood, was constructing the Order of the self’s inner world.

When I decided to build my future power system with the Great Tree of Knowledge as the core, this cognition influenced my inner Order, and the Power of Knowledge emerged after the subsequent turmoil once the Dual-Tree Structure was created.

Innumerable coincidences gathered to create this miracle, as if each was indispensable.

And the so-called “Mental Realm Externalization,” which is the Domain Prototype, relies on projecting the inner Order to reshape the outer Order.

Therefore, strengthening the Body Cultivation Domain required constantly reinforcing the steadfastness of my inner Order.

It felt somewhat similar to… idealism.

But the so-called idealism was also just a definition, only usable for description and auxiliary understanding; it was by no means the absolute truth.

However, understanding it this way seemed to explain why those simple-minded people who practiced martial arts fanatically, believing their fists could shatter everything, could continuously cultivate, advance, and become stronger.

Because this belief continuously strengthened their inner Order, their fist became the entire perceived Order.

Although I would comment that this type of Body Cultivator could be called “brainless,” wasn’t this also a path to researching the Transcendent, and how did the Transcendent respond to this method?

I also began to understand why Body Cultivators were always called brainless: because… under such an Order, the more brainless one was, the faster the shortcut, but this shortcut ultimately had an end.

So this was why transcendent power grasped without using one’s brain ultimately couldn’t go far.

But I couldn’t be so brainless; in fact, I was very rational and constantly tried to understand and research.

Perhaps this was one reason why my Body Cultivation Mental Realm’s Order was the Power of Knowledge.

Now.

With the foundation clarified and the Order glimpsed, the preliminary preparations were complete.

What followed would be a massive undertaking: unifying the Order!

At this point, the main body of the Great Tree of Knowledge was reflected within the Domain, and the power belonging to the spell’s main body manifested in the form of a Domain expansion.

Everyone present wasn’t surprised by my movements; they just temporarily set aside what they were doing, their gazes fixed on the main body of the Great Tree of Knowledge, their eyes flashing with a trace of excitement.

And at this moment, another spectacle appeared in the Witch Academy; any description seemed inadequate.

It was so huge that it reached the sky.

This was naturally not the limit of the Great Tree of Knowledge, but the limit of the Curtain Walls in the Witch Academy.

Students nearby saw such a magnificent sight and immediately let out gasps of surprise.

This was a scene rarely seen even at the Witch Academy.

The sudden appearance of this tree also immediately touched the hearts of those who had seen it before.

Seeing this tree again, and in such a complete form, the majestic and imposing feeling only made them feel their own insignificance.

Not long after, all students received a temporary notice sent from the Academy System on their mobile phones.

“Transcendent Academy Temporary Notice”

Looking at this announcement posted by the Academy System, many people roughly understood what had happened: it turned out that this was a normal phenomenon in the academic research of the instructors.

Although it wasn’t very common, the senior students had experienced it before.

However, what they had mostly experienced were things like explosions, leakage of transcendent energy, or uncontrolled transcendent creatures injuring people.

This was the first time they had witnessed such a magnificent anomaly, standing in the sky above the Witch Academy, the power flowing above it even made people’s heads feel dizzy, but this did not prevent them from pursuing beauty.

Many students directly took photos with this as the background, recording their beautiful lives and posting them on the Academy Network.

But those who knew the truth behind this were directly shocked!

They certainly knew whose power this tree belonged to, but they hadn’t expected the person to cause such a huge impact so openly within the Academy, and even… the Academy used a temporary announcement to help her avoid unnecessary trouble… What kind of talent could warrant such regard and favoritism from the Academy?

They didn’t understand, nor would they ever understand, ultimately only letting out a sigh.

And in another location.

“Is this the commotion caused by that Little Han you spoke of?”

“Yes, she is very talented, isn’t she?”

The one who spoke was naturally Mei Linde, and the other one chatting with her… was the Academy Head who had recently shown up.

“I don’t deny that.”

“That means you also approve… is that right? Without her, our progress in repairing the ruins of the Main World would probably be stuck.”

“That Destiny Gazing Technique auxiliary instrument… I have seen it. Clumsy technique.”

“A clumsy technique accomplished the most important task. That’s enough, isn’t it? Perhaps you should accept more new things. Other witches are calling you an old fossil, didn’t you know?”

“Hmph…”

“Oh, by the way, Little Han recently created a very magical spell using what is called the most useless Grand Spellbook—the Meditation Method of Enlightenment. It’s specialized in curing old fossils like you. Want to try it?”

“Cure me? Quite the boast. You should stop joking. The Main World has been thrown into chaos by you all recently. You should worry more about the troubles we will face if the Main World is successfully repaired.”

“Troubles? What troubles? We witches are always the ones causing trouble for other races,” Mei Linde said dismissively, then her tone shifted, “But do you really not want to try that spell? The Meditation Method of Enlightenment… perhaps you will find it interesting. Moreover… before long, this spell will be made into a spellbook and promoted among the witch community.”

“You value it that much?”

“Yes, so… Scholar Serina Palitzer, want to try it? I think with your rigorous scholarly nature, you would also be interested in a spell being promoted on such a large scale, even if it’s to question it.”

Serina hesitated for a moment before finally compromising.

“Fine… let’s try it then.”
