Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 269: Wisdom’s Enlightenment, Death and Rebirth

The night was silent.

Although the Fool’s Village secret realm seemed dreamlike and beautiful, the night was eerily quiet.

But this didn’t hinder the softness in Bai Yu’s arms, as I leaned back against her, nestled in her embrace.

The playful banter before sleep finally ended with a joke of me being a pillow.

It seemed that Bai Yu was now holding the person she wanted, but the other person still didn’t belong to her.

Bai Yu was still reflecting on how long she would have to use the excuse of a best friend’s intimate behavior.

Conflicting thoughts were constantly fighting in her mind.

Her emotional side told her that even if she did anything to Little Han, the other person wouldn’t mind, but her rational side told her that it was too radical.

And the path she was on told her to let nature take its course, like an ordinary road, an ordinary life, meeting the person she loves, and then confessing her love.

Bai Yu was constantly recalling the past, the bits and pieces of the past, when Little Han was still a boy… the first time they met as neighbors, she was curious about his maturity and silence that didn’t match his age.

And then their later interactions and understanding… gradually, Bai Yu discovered a problem.

She didn’t seem to have the same emotions and thoughts for the Little Han of that time as she did now.

So when did these thoughts arise?

After thinking for a long time, Bai Yu came to a conclusion: the first time she saw Little Han as a girl.

At that time, she was holding the Magic Power Source, saying sorry with her mouth, but the actions in her hands showed no hesitation.

Perhaps the seeds were already planted at that time?

And what really made her this way was seeing Little Han so calmly accept her identity as a girl.

Accepting her identity as a girl, the stone that fell from her heart was not Little Han’s, but Bai Yu’s own.

The emotions that had been suppressed for many years changed when that stone fell, but how long has it been since then?

Was she a person who was moved by lust?

No, no, no, before that, Bai Yu was a staunch heterosexual, until that moment… yes… she should try to accept this.

There are always some external forces that will cause a person to change, and she should face this.

Thinking of this, Bai Yu subconsciously tightened her embrace of the body in her arms.

She didn’t go any further, not because she didn’t want to take this small advantage, but because she had greater ambitions.

She wanted to truly possess the other person, and then openly go a step further.

At night, it didn’t matter to Bai Yu if she didn’t sleep for a whole day.

This was the first time she had held Little Han so closely.

The last time they shared a bed was the night she entered the dormitory.

Unfortunately, she ran away first.

Even now, thinking back, Bai Yu felt very regretful.

Just as Bai Yu was thinking of continuing her reminiscence, a strange noise from outside and the cries for help from the Fool’s Dream suddenly shattered the beauty of the night.

Bai Yu immediately sat up, but unfortunately, the tent was not big enough for her to toss and turn like this.

This movement immediately woke me up.

“Mmm… what’s wrong?”

I blinked my sleepy eyes and looked at Big Sis Bai in confusion.

Weren’t you holding me just fine?

I even agreed to let you take advantage of me, why are you doing this to me in the middle of the night?

“Little Han, are you awake? We might be in trouble!”

Bai Yu said in a deep voice at this moment.

“Something happened… hmm… wait, something happened?”

I, who was a step behind, quickly reacted.

This was the Fool’s Village secret realm, how could something have happened?

After reacting, I also heard the situation outside, directly opened the tent and rolled out.

The sky outside was still dark.

We followed the sound we just heard.

The Fool’s Village was actually not that big, and we didn’t even need a flying broom.

After all, if we went too fast, we might leave the village.

Even though we had lost our spells, with the body strengthening from alchemical items and the Cat-person Transformation Spell, our arrival speed was not slow.

“What happened?”

I asked a group of gathered Fool’s Dream.

“It’s Little Han and Bai Yu, you’re here.”

“It’s the nightmare, the nightmare attacked the village and also attacked Yuxi.”

“Nightmare? Yuxi?”

After getting some information, I quickly reacted.

Recalling the information described in the intelligence and guides before, the nightmare was the ”bad thing” that would start attacking the village chief after we outsiders entered.

And the Fool’s Dream contaminated by the nightmare would have a great change in personality, and there had even been cases of physical mutations.

They would frantically destroy the peace and quiet of the Fool’s Village.

And the name Yuxi, I might have heard it at the banquet, but I couldn’t say I was familiar with it.

But this didn’t stop me from going to check the situation.

At this moment, the Fool’s Dream called Yuxi was lying on the ground, and a dark, substantial black thing was constantly rising like smoke.

This was the manifestation of being attacked by a nightmare.

There were no external injuries on her body, but if there were no accidents, she might have already been sentenced to death.

The intelligence also recorded such a situation, or rather, this situation was very common, but there was not a single case of being saved.

This was also my doubt.

If someone came in, a Fool’s Dream would die here.

So why were there still so many Fool’s Dream in the village?

And during the day, I had also observed a phenomenon, which was that the number of huts woven by the Fool’s Dream was far greater than the actual number seen.

At this moment, all the Fool’s Dream were just quietly here, no one was crying for her, just every Fool’s Dream was in low spirits because of Yuxi’s situation.

“Everyone, disperse.”

At this moment, a decisive voice came.

It was Yuhu, whom we had met before.

Perhaps only her words would be listened to by so many Fool’s Dream.

“Guest, I’m sorry to have let you see such an embarrassing side of us. We will handle the matter here, but there is one thing I would like to confirm with you again.”

“Is it about helping? I will.”

I turned my head to look at Yuxi, who was already unconscious, and then said.

“Your decisiveness is admirable. Then are you willing to take our blessings and embark on the trial of a quest to subjugate the nightmare?”

Yuhu asked with a solemn expression at this moment, her tone of voice even carrying a hint of solemn ritual.

Although all of this was a bit out of place with the current atmosphere, I still stretched out my hand and nodded in agreement.

“I am naturally willing.”

“Me too.”

At this moment, Big Sis Bai, who was beside me, also spoke up.

After all, from Yuhu’s words just now, it was obvious that she was speaking to both of us.

“Then, please accept our blessings.”

As Yuhu spoke, a ball of light floated out from a very precious box she had prepared.

A spellbook.

This was a spellbook.

The intelligence had mentioned it, but this spellbook, like the Meditation Method, could not be taken out of the Fool’s Village secret realm.

However, it was just a very ordinary basic consumption spellbook for summoning weapons, so not many people cared about this point.

And its main function was as a special weapon against nightmares, just like the ”village good sword” in games.

I accepted this spellbook, which also meant accepting the trial.

This spellbook had another very wonderful characteristic in the intelligence, which was that it would change into different weapons according to the user’s situation, and once it transformed, it could never be changed again.

And the law of the weapon’s randomness was… no law.

It could be roughly divided into swords, staffs, and extremely rare other weapons, such as shields, whips, and the like.

And with a wave of my hand, the spellbook was activated, and a magic book appeared in my hand.

The book was heavy and felt heavy in my hand.

And at this time, Big Sis Bai also summoned her weapon, which was a medium-short wand, or a staff.

I flipped through the slightly ancient-looking book.

Touching it was like touching a piece of old, cracked tree bark.

The paper inside was very thick, but it was blank and had nothing recorded on it.

And just as I was wondering how to deal with the enemy with this book, whether to smash people with it and other strange thoughts, the Yuxi who had been surrounded by the Fool’s Dream just now climbed up in a strange way under the action of the dark power.

Her original cute appearance was now cracked, as if her body had undergone a mutation at this moment.

Fleshy buds wriggled and stretched out from the cracked places.

The style of the picture changed abruptly at this moment.

It launched a sneak attack at an extremely fast speed, and even before the warning voices of the Fool’s Dream came, it had already swung its fist.

“Be careful!”

Bai Yu quickly flashed over, holding both ends of her staff, and blocked its blow.

But just with that one blow, Bai Yu instantly disappeared.

“Big Sis Bai! Wait!”

At this moment, my eyes widened in disbelief at what I saw before me.

Big Sis Bai was gone?

Suddenly, a wave of anger occupied my thoughts.

The book in my hand became the most terrifying weapon at this moment, smashing towards this Fool’s Dream that had turned into a monster.

At this moment, Yuhu and the other Fool’s Dream just watched as the two of them disappeared here.

And the original Yuxi, which was now this monster, could no longer bear this power at this moment, and fell to the ground, withered and ugly.

“Take it to the ancestral land.”

Yuhu repeated as if she had repeated it thousands of times, with only numbness left in her eyes.

“This is the only thing we can do for our guests.”

None of the Fool’s Dream said anything about this.

They were all silent.

It seemed that they were always unexpectedly indifferent in very special situations.

The loss of a friend, the mutation of Yuxi, it seemed that no Fool’s Dream was crying or venting their emotions, even though at the banquet before, Yuxi was happily enjoying food and juice with many friends.

And at this moment, I saw that everything around me had changed.

The place was still the Fool’s Village, but the surrounding environment had become bizarre.

The leaves were swaying and stretching, the sky was spinning, the trees were twisting like seaweed at the bottom of the sea, and the scenery in the distance was as unreal as if it had been mosaic.

In just an instant, I reacted.

This might be a ”dream state,” not a ability like an illusion.

Dream state, I, who often practiced the Witch Meditation Method, was too familiar with the concept of a dream state.

And when I and Big Sis Bai truly arrived here, I finally reacted.

When I first arrived at the Fool’s Village secret realm, my Spirit Vision couldn’t see anything clearly, but everything was real.

And there was no overlapping space here.

So this was a superposition of reality and dream state!

This was even more extreme than the environment in the Witch Academy’s Meditation Room.

According to what was said, the Meditation Room there was only connected to the dream state, but here it was a simple and crude superposition!

“Big Sis Bai, are you okay?”

I hurriedly came to Big Sis Bai’s side.

The monster from before had also disappeared.

“I’m fine… we might be in trouble. According to the intelligence and guides, we might have encountered the worst development. The Fool’s Dream contaminated by the nightmare has pulled us into her domain.”

“Domain… this is a dream state.”

I corrected.

“Dream state… alright, no matter what, Little Han, you have to be careful.”

At this moment, Bai Yu was holding her staff with a concentration she had never had before.

She didn’t want to argue with Little Han about whether it was a domain or a dream state now, but she was very clear that she was indeed in big trouble.

And at this moment, I was also trying the Witch Meditation Method, but it didn’t seem to have the effect of cultivating mental power.

But I found that the spellbook that had been reconstructed into the Primary Meditation Method seemed to have some wonderful effects.

“Mm.”

As I nodded, a wail that echoed throughout this land spread here.

A monster of unclear form was constantly coming towards here from a distance.

Only when it got closer did I realize that it wasn’t that I couldn’t see it clearly, but that the other party had no entity.

“Ugly! Sad… I hate myself!”

“Kill me! Destroy my consciousness!”

“I don’t want to have this kind of cognition anymore…”

That figure was constantly struggling, emitting a sound that was almost unrecognizable, and was still attacking us.

And at this moment, Big Sis Bai and I only had the weapons in our hands, a staff and a book, to resist the other party’s attacks.

And I also understood what the other party was saying.

The other party was constantly venting, seeming to be disgusted and disgusted with their current situation.

Actually, if I were to say it, if you hate yourself so much, you can commit suicide.

Suicide can solve 100% of the problems you are facing now, instead of being here and killing us.

If this continued, it would actually not be a problem for us, but our energy was not infinite.

But just as we were struggling to resist, the other party let out a wail, a sharp, explosive sound, as if it was laughing and crying at the same time.

Its figure no longer entangled with us, but went in a certain direction.

Big Sis Bai and I looked at each other and also understood what to do.

Chase!

Even if Big Sis Bai wanted to prioritize safety at this moment, I would still choose to continue chasing to check the situation.

The other party suddenly had such an abnormal situation, something must have happened.

As we went over, we came to a place in the Fool’s Village that we had never been to before.

The terrain here was complex.

If you weren’t careful, you would miss a lot of underground caves.

And my first reaction was naturally the ”ancestral land” mentioned in the previous information.

When we walked through the narrow passage, the scene before us suddenly opened up.

This was a huge underground space.

The top seemed to have a natural hollow, and an unknown halo shone through the cave onto the huge space in the center.

It was a huge rock, emitting a huge and transparent blue glow, but at this moment it was covered with moss and vines.

Below it grew a dense and scalp-numbing plant, with huge leaves and many huge… flower buds.

“That’s a flower fairy… an existence born in the flowers of plants, but… this is not the same as the illustrated book I know. It may be a rare subspecies.”

Bai Yu said from the side at this moment.

And here, I finally saw the formless monster that had attacked us before.

It was now coiled around the huge rock that was surrounded by these flowers like stars around the moon.

At this moment, neither of us made a move, just watched everything happen before our eyes.

The dark, monster-like form was slowly melting into the crystal-clear stone, and the dark, bad thing was slowly being precipitated out.

This process lasted for a long time, until a pure ”soul body” that was like a newborn slowly gathered, strand by strand, and was thrown into a mature flower bud.

“The Fool’s Dream clan… was born like this? They are essentially that… what?”

“Flower fairy.”

At this moment, Bai Yu and I also came forward.

Everything that was happening was too sacred, as if there was a consciousness interfering with my thoughts, subconsciously telling me not to destroy the ”ritual of the birth of life.”

And now, this feeling disappeared.

Another feeling was urging us to go forward and welcome the birth of life.

At this moment, that flower bud was constantly ”nurturing.”

This kind of nurturing was simply visible to the naked eye, and the speed was so fast that I couldn’t imagine it.

The flower bud slowly opened at this moment, the first petal, the second petal… it was like a work of art blooming before us, as if it was performing its new life for us.

And I also thought of a certain possibility at the first moment.

Could this also be a kind of revelation?

But… what was this revealing.

If this was the birthplace of the Fool’s Dream clan, then this could also be called the ”ancestral land.”

So what’s next?

At this moment, I reached out my hand as if possessed by a ghost, and at this moment, the flower bud completely bloomed.

A very delicate little cutie was curled up, born on the stamen in this way.

The petals were weaving clothes for it, and the leaves and branches were adorning it.

Like a final blessing from the flower bud, at the moment it withered, a blessing fell on her.
