Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 191: The Farce from the Blood Clan in the Dream State

After an unknown number of battle rounds, I finally stopped completely when all the magic in my Magic Power Source was depleted.

In this situation, it was not suitable to continue.

I also discovered a very fatal problem: even with hundreds of Magic Power Sources and using basic-consumption spellbooks, there would still be a time when they ran out, and this speed depended on how flashy my moves were.

Any fancy combat techniques required extra magic power for setup, and the self-recovery of the Magic Power Sources took a long time.

I had tested it at the very beginning; it took a full day for one to return to its initial state.

This meant that the more Magic Power Sources one had, the more magic power would be recovered within a fixed time, because no matter how many Magic Power Sources one possessed, it would take a full day to recover to the optimal state.

The recovery of each Magic Power Source was calculated individually.

So with my current Magic Power Source limit, the total amount of magic power recovered in one hour of natural recovery would probably be enough to fill about thirty-something Magic Power Sources.

With the help of potions or recovery spells, this speed would be even faster.

So after exhausting my magic power, I exited the challenge room, because I couldn’t learn anything more there.

Even a technique like Multi-casting, which I valued greatly, might be difficult for others because they don’t understand spellbooks.

For me, who understands spellbooks, I knew very well how to use the most concise mental power to activate different spellbooks simultaneously.

In the time just now, I had already formed these techniques into a fixed pattern, but it would take more time to develop this into an instantaneous habit.

It probably couldn’t be done in a short time.

After I came out, I found that quite a few people had arrived in this initial public area, but at a glance, none of them seemed to be students from Witch Academy.

My sudden appearance attracted quite a bit of attention, but that was all.

No one came over to talk to me or anything.

That made sense.

They weren’t students of Witch Academy, so they probably just saw me as an ordinary student from Witch Academy, right?

Not all students who came for the exchange would come to the arena to watch the competition.

But having no one disturb me was just what I wanted.

After all, my attention was drawn to the notification that popped up at this moment, reminding me that my Magic Power Source consumption was excessive and asking if I needed a quick recovery.

I naturally chose yes for this.

After all, without a quick recovery, I wouldn’t be able to perform various operations without interruption, and I still wanted to try out the other functions in the Dream State.

“Heh heh, look who it is, a student from Witch Academy. Practicing here so early, are you afraid of losing too badly, so you’ve come for some last-minute extra practice?”

A provocative voice suddenly sounded.

Even I was stunned for a moment.

I looked around and confirmed that I seemed to be the only student from Witch Academy here, so I roughly determined that the other person was talking to me.

But where was the person speaking?

“Hey! I’m talking to you, where are you looking!”

I didn’t pay much attention just now, but now that the other person spoke again, I locked onto the source of the voice and finally saw, nestled between two unfamiliar girls a loli?

“Little sister, are you an adult yet? If you don’t have parents, I can help send you to a nursery.”

I looked at this arrogant little one and spoke in a sarcastic tone.

However, looking at their ”tall-short-tall” combination, for some reason, I had the urge to laugh.

This uniform with its black and blood-red color scheme, plus the school emblem on their chests, allowed me to identify which academy they were from.

Blood Clan Academy.

That viscount of the Blood Clan, I still had an impression of them.

After all, my initial impression of this academy was a vampire academy.

“You! How dare you say that to me!”

My words clearly dealt critical damage to the other party.

It seemed she wasn’t the type who didn’t care about her height.

In that case, why would she find followers with such a stark contrast?

“You two, teach her a lesson. I want to taste if this one’s blood is as unpleasant as her words.”

“Yes, Young Miss.”

The two existences who were like servants by her side spoke respectfully and then came towards me.

I could feel that the other party were also students, not some kind of summoned spell effect, but why did their status feel so unequal?

Even in Witch Academy, someone as strong as Tan Han and I didn’t have such followers.

Isn’t this kind of behavior demeaning to oneself?

And this conflict also attracted the attention of more people, but most of them stood by with the mentality of watching a show.

This was the Dream State, so things like death would naturally not be a problem.

It could be said that this public area was the most suitable place for provocation.

Although I still didn’t know why the other party targeted me right from the start.

I was a student of Witch Academy, wasn’t I in the position of a host?

What good would it do her to slap my face right away?

“Enough! This is the Primal Dream State! It is a public area provided for everyone who comes for the exchange, not for you to provoke and brawl in!”

A sudden angry shout instantly broke the atmosphere.

Everyone’s attention was drawn to the speaker, and they even subconsciously made way for her.

“Tsk… Tan Han? I didn’t expect you to come so early. What, you think I’m scared of you just because you shouted?”

At this moment, that little loli directly recognized Tan Han, her arms crossed, in a stance ready for a confrontation.

But this also showed that this little loli had a considerable understanding and fear of Tan Han.

And I, standing on the side, couldn’t help but sigh.

As the protagonist of the script, did other academies know so much about Tan Han?

I’m clearly not bad either…

Perhaps they were hinted at by the teachers of their academy.

After all, this exchange competition was a bit strange.

It was highly probable that it was aimed at Tan Han.

“You can try and see if I can kill you before you make a move.”

Tan Han’s words were now a direct threat.

Although one could be revived here without cost after dying, what was lost was face!

This little loli was clearly aware of this, so she directly chose to back down, but she wouldn’t back down with her words.

“Heh heh… you dare to make a move? Aren’t you afraid of causing public outrage by acting here? With so many people, aren’t you afraid?”

“They won’t help you for no reason. End this boring farce. Witch Academy lent the Dream State to you for the sake of the academic exchange, not for you to be unreasonable here. Besides, this is Witch Academy. Don’t bring your vampire-like customs here.”

“Vam…vampire? You dare to call our noble Blood Clan vampires! I want you to…”

“Want me to what?”

Before she could finish, Tan Han had already crossed the distance and appeared in front of this blood clan loli.

Her hand was pressed directly on her face, and the magic power fluctuation from the spellbook became the most threatening means at this moment.

And the eyes of this blood clan loli, through the gaps between those open fingers, finally revealed a look of horror.

But it seemed to be too late for everything.

She had lost both face and substance.

She could imagine that she had originally just intended to pick on a soft persimmon to announce the arrival of the Blood Clan Academy, but unexpectedly ran right into Tan Han.

“I want you to die!”

These words seemed to be squeezed out from her mouth, and the final word “die” seemed to want to vent all her grievances and unwillingness in an instant.

Blood-red power instantly surrounded her body.

It was the Blood Qi Essence uniquely controlled by the Blood Clan.

But before this power could condense into a lethal attack, Tan Han sent her away with one blow.

A spellbook at the ready plus rapid casting, Tan Han could cast a spell in an extremely short amount of time.

With this blow, the loli was completely dead, her body falling and turning into foam.

Everyone was surprised by Tan Han’s decisive action, but anyone facing this situation would not have shown mercy.

The other party was clearly a cornered dog.

And in the next moment, a figure reappeared at the central resurrection platform of this public area.

“Tan Han! You actually dared to kill me! I want you to feel the sensation of death too! I want your blood to fill my wine glass!”

“Is there an end to this.”

Tan Han frowned, not expecting that the resurrection mechanism here would directly enable the other party’s shameless behavior.

But facing the blood clan loli who had already launched a Blood Qi killing move, Tan Han had no choice but to respond.

And at this moment, the two followers in front of me also rushed over there.

“Young Miss!”

“Master!”

Two urgent shouts, but before they could attract everyone’s attention, they were restricted by a Silence Spell and a Confinement Spell from me.

Although I was not yet familiar with these two spellbooks, it didn’t mean I couldn’t use them.

And what did they just call her?

One called her Young Miss, and the other Master?

I added another Silence Spell and Confinement Spell on them.

Because they weren’t modded, I couldn’t cast these spells on them in an extremely short time.

But the commotion here also attracted some people’s attention, but it was obviously not as attractive as the slaughter over where Tan Han was.

They just gave me a slightly surprised look and then turned their heads back.

“You two just stay put. What can you do by going up there besides feeding?”

Looking at these two who were restrained by just a basic-consumption spell like the Confinement Spell, I couldn’t help but question their combat capabilities.

Are they really here for the academy exchange?

I walked up to them.

These two were actually a male and a female.

Only after a closer look did I realize they were from different academies.

The girl’s academy was the Blood Clan Affiliated Academy, and the guy was from the Blood Slave Academy oh, so these three clowns are from different academies.

“Shh… be quiet, your young miss has gotten into big trouble.”

I said to them with a smile, then got up and walked towards Tan Han.

Just as Tan Han said, this farce should end.

Using the confidence of resurrection to show off one’s power, what is this if not the behavior of a clown?

But Tan Han didn’t seem to have expected this situation either.

However, the other party was obviously no match for Tan Han and was constantly being “spawn camped,” killed at the resurrection point.

Looking at Tan Han, it seemed she wanted to teach her a lesson, to make her not dare to continue like this, and also to let her calm down.

“A little lesson should be enough, right?”

I walked to Tan Han’s side and asked.

I just felt that Tan Han didn’t seem like someone interested in slaughter, so why hadn’t she stopped yet?

“Indeed.”

Seeing me come over, Tan Han sighed and said, “But some things are not that I don’t want to stop.”

After Tan Han stopped, that figure appeared at the resurrection point again.

“Why did you stop! Are you out of power! It’s my turn to fight back! I will be the first of the Blood Clan to kill you! I…”

But before she could finish, her head was exploded by a Fireball.

“Doesn’t she know that energy can be quickly restored in the Dream State?”

I turned to look at Tan Han and asked.

“Maybe… she doesn’t know. Let’s go, this person is simply a mad dog. Blood Clan Academy, I guess this person has entered a berserk state due to Blood Qi Backlash.”

Tan Han said as she pulled me away.

“You can get Blood Qi Backlash even in here?”

A look of disdain appeared on my face.

Although I wasn’t quite clear on the principle of Blood Qi Backlash, I guess the other party had gone crazy.

But just letting her mess around here wasn’t a solution either.

Perhaps… I could try this?

“Little Han, let’s go, don’t mind her. Let the people from the Blood Clan Academy take this mad person away themselves.”

“Wait a minute, I want to try something new.”

I mobilized the spellbook and started to experiment.

This was originally just an idea, but now I could try it out directly.

During the experiment, I killed this blood clan loli several more times, until a sphere shimmering with lightning appeared in front of me.

If I didn’t say it, probably no one would know that this spell was “Lightning Strike Spell,” right?

A Lightning Strike Spell was a bolt of lightning that struck down after being cast, but this sphere, which looked like a fireball, would occasionally have electric arcs roaming across its surface.

The slightly dazzling white light instantly became the focus here.

This lightning ball couldn’t even distinguish between friend and foe.

If it weren’t for the Energy Shield protecting me right now, I might have been hit.

But even so, a layer of Energy Shield trembled under such electric arcs.

This was the effect of overloading the output of the Lightning Strike Spell spellbook.

It consumed hundreds of magic power points.

Fortunately, this was in the Dream State.

Otherwise, if a spellbook was used like this in reality, it might be completely broken, and even in the best-case scenario, it would require long-term maintenance.

This could be considered an extreme application.

The consumption reached hundreds of magic power points, which was already at the level of a high-consumption spellbook, but the damage did not reach the level of a high-consumption spellbook.

It could be said that it wasn’t very useful, but its symbolic significance was greater than its practical significance.

This showed that brute force could also apply to the modding of low-level spellbooks under certain circumstances.

As long as it was refined on this basis, it could become a conventional means.

And the effect of this spell was to eliminate all conductive existences within its reachable range.

So even without a target defined by me, its existence time was limited.

From the constantly emerging electric arcs, it could be seen that it was always leaking electricity, but this time limit was probably more than several tens of hours.

What a joke, don’t underestimate the endurance of hundreds of magic power points!

And now this lightning ball was pushed by me to the resurrection point.

With this fully automatic monster-killing machine, wouldn’t this teach that blood clan a good lesson?

Although using it for attacks would greatly consume its duration, no matter what, an hour, or half an hour should be possible, right?

This was enough to teach the other party a lesson and also enough to let her calm down.

“What is this?”

Tan Han looked at the spell effect with terrifying energy fluctuations.

She wasn’t surprised by the power of this spell, but by its effect.

Its power was just enough to cause a fatal effect on the blood clan who couldn’t defend in time, but the effect was so continuous?

It was somewhat similar to the effect of a summoning spell, but even a summoning spell wouldn’t be like this without the caster’s control, right?

It was obvious that this spell had already left the caster’s control, but it was still attacking indiscriminately.

“Oh, a little trick by modifying the Lightning Strike Spell.”

I said in a low voice, “Let’s go, staying here always feels like being monkeys on display. Didn’t you say you wanted to have another match with me? I agree, it’s not too late, right?”

“You agreed?”

“Mhm”

As my figure and Tan Han’s disappeared, this farce seemed to have ended just like that.

But many people knew that someone who could chat so intimately with Tan Han was definitely not someone to be trifled with.

But they didn’t expect that the student from the Blood Clan Academy would hit an iron plate right from the start, so many people secretly noted down another terrifying existence in Witch Academy.

Although they didn’t hear the last few sentences of the conversation, it was obvious that the spell effect left behind was the most direct proof of strength.

Many people still here also tried to approach, but the lightning from that lightning ball almost made them scream in pain when it swept across their bodies, so no one was suicidal enough to go and try.

No one even tried to go over with a shield up.

After all, isn’t that just asking for trouble?

And if there was a mistake, the outcome would be the same as the one at the resurrection point, and there was no second resurrection point here.

And at this moment, a group of three in the crowd looked at the resurrection point not far away, their brows furrowed, but he did not make a move.

“What a waste, completely disgraced our Blood Clan Academy. I just encouraged her to cause a little trouble for Witch Academy, and she couldn’t even do that properly?”

“My lord, should we go and save Miss Kailin Gaskell?”

A blood servant on the side asked in a low voice.

“Let her suffer. I’m in a competitive relationship with her, why should I save her? After she gets out of this farce, you can go and send her my regards.”

“Yes, my lord.”
