I Sell Mobile Phones Like a Swindler, and Customers Beg Me Not to Go Out of Business

50: Chapter 50 It turns out I was the sucker all along. After receiving the ideal a8 Pro, Sao Hei played several games in a row without any issues.

He was very satisfied with this phone, so he logged into his long-unused streaming platform and posted a livestream announcement.

”Brothers, it’s been a few days. Due to some well-known reasons, I’ve stopped streaming for a few days.

During this break, I’ve taken some time to reflect on myself.

But today, I received the new phone that Li Xiang Technology customized specifically for all gaming streamers: the ideal a8 Pro!

I’ll be taking this phone to dominate the canyon and restore the glory of our Sao Army!

This phone was tuned and developed by Li Xiang Technology specifically for gaming streamers—or rather, for gamers—which goes to show how much Li Xiang Technology values us gamers!

This phone uses an overclocked version of the li xiang 6 series chip. After special tuning, it fully maximizes the performance of the li xiang 6 series chip, making the final gaming experience truly fantastic!

I’ve already played a few rounds of honor of kings, and the gaming performance is quite good; it can already hold a steady 30 frames!

It’s about the same frame rate as when I played heroic battle records, so you could say it’s very smooth for playing honor of kings!

So, I will be using this phone for my stream tomorrow to charge toward the rank of King with all my brothers and sisters in the chat!

The phone isn’t even that expensive, just 28,000. In order to present a better streaming experience to everyone, I didn’t hesitate to get it right away!

It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you all; you must have missed me!

See you all tomorrow, brothers and sisters!”

In Sao Hei’s mind, his audience must have been waiting for him during his break because they had no other content to watch.

Therefore, after he posted this, they would surely express how much they missed him and look forward to his stream.

Plus, he had done a bit of showing off at the end; buying a customized streamer version of the Li Xiang Phone for 28,000—those people must be very envious of his wealth!

He had also euphemistically called it ”doing it for the sake of the audience” to provide a better streaming experience, so surely many people would be touched!

He kept refreshing his post, waiting to see the comments from his followers.

However, the first comment arrived very quickly.

”Holy crap, an idiot is here! Isn’t this Sao Hei? Still bragging about a customized streamer version of the Li Xiang Phone? Wang Daxian next door has already hit number one on the national server using a xiaomi phone! You just got your phone, and he’s already bored of playing on his!”

Seeing this comment, Sao Hei was a bit stunned.

Huh? Why was the situation different from what he had expected?

What was going on? Shouldn’t they be envious, jealous, and hateful toward him?

Shouldn’t they be welcoming his return? Why were they calling him an idiot right off the bat?

Sao Hei was dumbfounded, but he comforted himself by saying, ”It’s fine, these must be anti-fans.

I didn’t expect anti-fans to be so dedicated. I barely posted, and they were the first to react and leave a comment.”

Who doesn’t have a few anti-fans? No need to pay attention to them!

He continued refreshing, wanting to see comments from his actual fans.

However, after he refreshed again, a barrage of comments popped up.

”He’s not just an idiot; he’s the king of idiots! And you call yourself a streamer? You’re so behind on the news. What kind of trash is the Li Xiang Phone? I will never buy a Li Xiang Phone again in my life!”

”A 28,000 phone—do you think you’re rich? Does having money make you special? It’s not even as good as the phone I bought for 2,999! What a sucker!”

”This is just one of those idiots who loves eating the empty promises of phone manufacturers; he’s the prime target for Li Xiang Technology to fleece!”

Sao Hei was completely dumbfounded.

How could the streaming platform have become so foreign after just a few days? Could he not even see a single fan of his anymore?

He retorted in the comments, ”You guys are the idiots! Can you keep your mouths clean? Why are you cursing at me for no reason?”

At this point, a netizen couldn’t stand it anymore and explained in the comments, ”Sao Hei, it’s not that everyone is targeting you; it’s that everyone is truly disgusted with Li Xiang Technology right now.

The ideal a8 Pro has the same gaming performance as the xiaomi 5, yet they are selling it for 10,000 yuan!

After we consumers expressed our dissatisfaction, they acted like they were shooing away beggars by giving us a 200-yuan coupon.

The xiaomi 5 only sells for 2,999 and even comes with a bunch of little gifts! Tell me, what else would you call someone who still buys a Li Xiang Phone if not an idiot?”

Sao Hei was stunned after reading this reply.

What kind of phone is the xiaomi 5? The name sounded a bit familiar.

At that moment, everything seemed to click in his mind.

He had heard before that some guy named Wang Daxian had gained a lot of followers during his break and had even become the first to reach the rank of King.

It seemed he heard that he was using a xiaomi 5? And looking at these comments from netizens, the performance of the xiaomi 5 seemed to be about the same as the ideal a8 Pro.

No! There must be something wrong!

How could a 2,999 phone be about the same as a 28,000 phone? Li Xiang Technology isn’t stupid; these netizens must have gotten it wrong!

He then replied, ”You guys must be talking about the ideal a8, right? But Li Xiang has released a new phone now! I’m talking about the ideal a8 Pro, and it’s the streamer customized version of the ideal a8 Pro; it should be better than that xiaomi 5 thing, right?”

Another netizen replied, ”Better my foot! The xiaomi 5 has about the same performance as the ideal a8 Pro! Of course, we haven’t seen the real ideal a8 Pro yet.

Anyway, looking at the official promotional material, it doesn’t even compare to the xiaomi 5.

People have actually tested the xiaomi 5, and it has an average frame rate of 35, and it never drops below 30 frames! Hitting 40 or 50 frames is commonplace!

With that kind of gaming performance, they only sell it for 2,999!”

It was as if Sao Hei had been struck on the head.

He had spent 28,000 on this phone! Now, the more he thought about the way Xue Haixin had fed him empty promises, the more he felt he had been scammed!

”Damn it! So I was the one who got ripped off! If what those netizens are saying is true, then aren’t I the ultimate sucker?”

Of course, Sao Hei couldn’t just take the netizens’ word for it, so he opened the honor of kings game forum, which he hadn’t opened in a long time. Sure enough, he found many posts praising the xiaomi 5, and even more posts cursing Li Xiang Technology.

Many people had expressed dissatisfaction with the Li Xiang Phone; it seemed what they said was true! Otherwise, there wouldn’t be so many people praising the xiaomi 5 phone.

Then he scrolled to that pinned post—the one where Bai Jingqing said he was going to give out benefits to everyone.

After reading it, he was moved to tears.

”Holy crap, such a conscientious manufacturer. Why the hell did I spend 28,000 to buy a Li Xiang Phone! I’d rather donate this 28,000 to the xiaomi phone manufacturer. They must be selling it at a loss at that price. Such a conscientious manufacturer is really hard to come by these days!”
