I Sell Mobile Phones Like a Swindler, and Customers Beg Me Not to Go Out of Business

41: Chapter 41 Ideal A8 Pro, Xue Haixin’s New MethodsAfter finishing a few more games, Bai Jingqing finally put down his new phone.

While showering and resting on the bed, Bai Jingqing also had some thoughts regarding the sales of the xiaomi 6.

For now, he definitely had to keep the xiaomi 6 hidden; at the very least, it wasn’t time for mass production yet.

On one hand, the current xiaomi 5 was already top-tier enough and extremely popular on gaming forums.

He wanted to fully capitalize on the hype surrounding honor of kings to earn as much startup capital as possible and accumulate some profit points.

If he were to launch the xiaomi 6 now, the sales of the xiaomi 5 would inevitably be affected.

On the other hand, there hadn’t been any movement from Li Xiang Technology yet.

Using the xiaomi 5 against the currently available ideal a8 was more than enough; there was absolutely no need to bring out the xiaomi 6.

Just like in the novels where wandering the world requires keeping a few trump cards, the xiaomi 6 was his trump card for now.

He wanted to wait until Li Xiang Technology realized the terror of the xiaomi 5 and was exerting all its strength to counterattack before releasing the xiaomi 6, dealing Li Xiang Technology a fatal blow!

He currently had three models on hand, which perfectly corresponded to the low-end, mid-range, and high-end tiers.

The xiaomi 4, as the base model, was positioned for the low-end market and primarily used for daily tasks.

Its processor wasn’t the strongest, but for daily use, it could still easily handle WeChat—which was still relatively small in size at the moment—and some other software.

Furthermore, its photography was top-notch, and the front-facing selfie camera with built-in beauty filters was a major killer feature.

The xiaomi 5, as the upgraded model, was positioned for the mid-range market.

It was essentially the xiaomi 4 with an upgraded processor, and could be said to be primarily targeted at gamers.

Currently, the xiaomi 5 still struggled slightly when running the unoptimized version of honor of kings, but its performance was still capable of crushing other domestic manufacturers.

As for this xiaomi 6, it was positioned as a high-end flagship.

He believed that as soon as this phone was released, it would surely cause a sensation worldwide!

However, it wasn’t the right time yet.

This would be the first product brought to the world by the Huayao Technology he had rebuilt, it would be the opening shot of Huayao Technology’s return, and it was something he planned to use to go head-to-head with the top flagships of other manufacturers in the future.

Regardless, at the very least, he had to prepare a decent launch event for the xiaomi 6 to introduce the major upgrades and black technology it featured.

There was really no rush to release it now; Bai Jingqing was just waiting for the right opportunity.

On the other side, Li Xiang Technology was already preparing full-force for the launch of the ideal a8 Pro at this very moment.

Xue Haixin was extremely busy during this time.

”Chairman Xue, here are the advertising slogans for our different platforms and cities. Please take a look.”

”Chairman Xue, this is the distribution information for distributors in major domestic cities, along with their respective pre-ordered quantities and prices. Please sign here.”

”Chairman Xue, the Tencent honor of kings project team wants to use our ideal a8 Pro as their promotional device. This is the email they sent over; please take a look.”

Xue Haixin wished he could grow three heads and six arms at this moment.

While handling these trivial matters, he emphasized: ”Remember! The ideal a8 Pro is our first phone to enter the gaming flagship market. This concerns whether our Li Xiang Phone can be associated with high-performance gaming flagships! Your publicity team must increase promotional efforts; both online and offline promotion must be on point. It needs to be comprehensive, without blind spots, like a barrage of firepower! You must make an effort to establish the high-end image of our Li Xiang Technology! When people mention honor of kings or gaming phones, they should think of our Li Xiang Phone! Also, our current spokesperson for Li Xiang Technology is Wu Yifan, right? Have him find some time to come over and shoot a few more advertising clips.”

”Understood, Chairman Xue!”

”Understood, Chairman Xue!”

A group of people responded one after another, bustling about for the launch announcement of the ideal a8 Pro.

Just like that, under the vigorous promotion of Xue Haixin, the advertisements for the ideal a8 Pro truly became ubiquitous.

”Sharpening a sword for three years, testing its edge today! The ideal a8 series’ top-tier flagship, the ideal a8 Pro, is now newly launched, specifically crafted for gamers! Ideal has joined forces with Tencent to meticulously refine it for 3 years. After tens of thousands of hours of careful tuning and multiple special optimizations and adaptations for honor of kings, we have finally forged this tool for climbing ranks for players! If you want to climb the ranks, how can you do without a good device? ideal a8 Pro, helping you reach the top as a National Server King!”

Countless slogans like this truly tied the Li Xiang Phone deeply to gaming.

Many players would see similar slogans from time to time while browsing gaming forums or various information feed apps.

This was just the situation online; the offline promotional efforts were equally strong.

Advertisements for the ideal a8 Pro were placed on all bus stop signs and subway billboards in major domestic cities, as well as on giant screens in major shopping malls.

The new promotional video filmed by Wu Yifan was played on a loop on buses and subways, and promotional photos of Wu Yifan holding the ideal a8 Pro were plastered all over the streets and alleys of the city, as lively as during the New Year!

There were quite a few people within Li Xiang Technology who felt that Xue Haixin might be over-promoting, as such a grand-scale publicity campaign required a significant amount of advertising fees.

However, Xue Haixin didn’t take the skepticism of others to heart at all; instead, he sneered and explained: ”What do you know? Haven’t you heard? Tencent is still continuously optimizing honor of kings. Eventually, they will definitely allow most phones to play honor of kings smoothly; otherwise, Tencent wouldn’t have released such a game. In other words, the time our ideal a8 Pro can exclusively run honor of kings at 30 FPS is not long to begin with, so this period is our time to seize the market! We must promote vigorously during this time, allowing the stereotype that ’Li Xiang Phone is awesome for gaming’ to take root in people’s hearts, so that all the common people feel that if they want to play games very smoothly, they have to choose our Li Xiang Phone. If we don’t increase the promotional efforts now, when other phone manufacturers react and upgrade their phone hardware first, are we just going to hand over such a big piece of the gaming market cake on a silver platter?”

It had to be said that Xue Haixin had great vision and boldness.

Other executives in the company naturally didn’t dare to refute these words after hearing them; after all, Xue Haixin was truly hot property now, favored and trusted by the major shareholders in the company, so others couldn’t get a word in regarding his decisions.

Xue Haixin snorted coldly and couldn’t help but mock in his heart.

These people are truly short-sighted!

They have absolutely no vision!

Although we are losing a bit of money on advertising now, we will definitely earn it all back in the future!

Advertising expenditure is very necessary; only when the promotion is on point can sales possibly be good.
