Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2636: Chapter 2645: Help Me Ask President Lawrence If He Knows

Half an hour later.

Adam Sinclair selected a cart full of groceries and checked out at the counter, carrying two large bags of stuff towards her, ”Let’s go.”

”Okay.”

Olivia Lewis walked beside him with the dog, glancing at the bags in his hands now and then, giving him a heads up, ”I’m telling you, I’m not cooking today, don’t ask me.”

”Don’t worry, I won’t make you cook.”

He said that, but Olivia Lewis felt uneasy seeing him so meticulously picking out so many ingredients, ”Did you call a chef over?”

”No.”

”Then...”

”I’ll do it.”

I’ll do it!

Olivia Lewis looked at him as if witnessing a miracle, holding back for a long time and then uttered, ”Are you sure you’re cooking? Did meeting your first love make you feel like self-destructing?”

The food he cooked was that bad, she even described it as self-destruction. Besides, he merely met his ex-girlfriend, what’s there to be upset about? She clearly ignored all his previous explanations, ”I’m sure. Even if it’s self-destruction, you’re with me, what am I afraid of.”

”No, Investor, I’m scared.”

Adam Sinclair noticed she wasn’t walking properly, swaying as she walked holding the dog, fearing she’d trip over it, he shot her a look, ”Watch your step, it won’t poison you. If you keep looking around like that, I’ll really poison the food!”

It was a short five-minute walk, and a bit of chatting brought them there.

As soon as Adam Sinclair returned to the villa, he immediately tied on an apron and got busy. Olivia Lewis watched him wash the vegetables, and his professional demeanor gave the impression of someone with good cooking skills.

She hadn’t watched for long before being ushered out, with the kitchen door closed behind her.

Feeling bored, Olivia Lewis sat cross-legged on the sofa, thought for a moment, and took out her phone to call Enna Clark.

”Beep beep...” The phone rang twice, and the other side answered.

”Hello.” It was Enna Clark’s voice.

Olivia Lewis held the phone to her ear, leaning back on the sofa, ”Hey, Enna, it’s me. Thanks for this morning, hmm, Prada came, and everything’s settled now. Lucky to have your help. Let’s grab a meal together sometime.”

She glanced at the kitchen, through the frosted glass seeing a busy silhouette of a man, she pressed her red lips together, ”He’s cooking now. I’m not sure how it will taste, never seen him do it before. By the way, speaking of this, Enna, is President Lawrence by your side?”

On the other side, Enna Clark quickly snuck a glance at the man standing out in the queue next to her, covering the phone’s receiver with one hand and lowering her voice, ”He is.”

”President Lawrence is there, great. Enna, could you ask him if he knows anyone named Renee Anderson?” Olivia Lewis requested on the other end of the phone.

Enna Clark, ”Hold on, I’ll ask for you.”

She moved the phone away, turned her head, and asked the man who stood like a standout among the crowd, ”Baron Lawrence, Olivia asked me to check if you know someone named Renee Anderson.”

”Renee Anderson?” He knitted his brows, seemingly searching his memory, and it took him a while to recall, ”That woman...”

Within his dark eyes flashed a hint of disgust, he said to Enna Clark, ”Tell her not to worry about that woman. Adam Sinclair could never like that woman again.”

”Huh?” Although Enna Clark was surprised, she still relayed his words to Olivia Lewis.
