Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2614: Chapter 2623: Waiting for Her in the Hallway

Benjamin Sinclair stared for a long time but couldn’t figure out the intrigue between the two, snorted coldly, and turned his head back, looking as though he had no interest in them.

The car drove smoothly all the way to the Amusement Park entrance.

Not far from the Amusement Park was the mall built with massive investments by Sinclair Corporation. As soon as the car stopped, the mall’s management hurried forward to greet them.

Adam Sinclair and Benjamin Sinclair were immediately surrounded by a group of people.

Olivia Lewis felt uncomfortable with the sycophantic atmosphere in the mall and followed Adam Sinclair to the backstage area. She picked up her bag and softly said to the busy man, ”Adam, I’m going to the bathroom.”

”You won’t sneak away halfway, will you? You promised to accompany me.” The elegant man made an apologetic gesture to the persons he was conversing with and leaned ambiguously toward her, whispering.

His breath sprayed into Olivia Lewis’s ear canal. She wanted to dodge but couldn’t, her fair ears blushing red. Speaking softly yet exasperatedly, she said, ”I’m not running away. I promised to stay with you, so I won’t leave. I’m just going to the bathroom to touch up my makeup.”

There’ll definitely be a stage for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and with Adam Sinclair’s party being so grand, there might even be media present down below. Though she hadn’t appeared in public for a long time, she was after all an ’outdated’ female artist, so she had to watch her appearance.

There’s no way she could change her clothes or shoes; there’s no time for that. But at least she could touch up her makeup.

When she left the house, she thought she was only meeting Leigh to discuss a script, so she casually wore a set of casual clothes, venturing out without any makeup.

Now she’s wearing canvas shoes, with a bare face, looking too dowdy.

If the media caught her looking like this, her big-time Manager would definitely lose it and come down on her.

So, touching up her makeup was a must, even if it’s just a light touch-up, at least with some lipstick, to avoid looking so shabby.

Seeing her so certain and not seemingly intent on running away, Adam Sinclair shot her a deep glance and let her go to touch up her makeup, ”I’ll wait for you here.”

”Alright, I’ll be quick.”

Olivia Lewis hurriedly left.

Adam Sinclair got caught up again with several people, unable to extract himself. Hence, he didn’t notice Alexander Sinclair sneakily leaving along with Olivia Lewis from his left-sided corner.

In the bathroom.

Olivia Lewis stood before the mirror, quickly applying a light makeup touch-up. She turned on the faucet, washed her hands, tidied up her items, and left.

Just as she stepped out of the bathroom, someone blocked her way in the hallway.

”Ms. Lewis.”

Olivia Lewis cautiously kept her distance from the man in front of her, ”You are...”

”Ah, I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Alexander Sinclair, a fan of Ms. Lewis.” Judging by appearance alone, Alexander Sinclair wasn’t unattractive.

After all, the woman who could captivate Benjamin Sinclair for so many years couldn’t possibly look unsightly.

However, Alexander Sinclair’s appearance resembled Dad’s a bit, so his facial shape wasn’t as smooth as Adam’s; it was more of Benjamin’s square face.

Overall, it lowered his looks.

Made him seem a bit insincere.

Olivia Lewis caught the crucial point, ”Your surname is Sinclair?”

Alexander Sinclair intentionally revealed his family background, wanting to pique her curiosity. As soon as Olivia Lewis asked, he immediately feigned a saddened expression, hesitantly saying, ”Yes. Actually, I’m a blood-related brother to Young Master Sinclair, but due to some deep misunderstandings, he’s quite distant towards me.”

Olivia Lewis already suspected he was the illegitimate child upon seeing his face, and hearing him say this, it was pretty much confirmed.

Since he came to block her in the bathroom, she decided to play along, showing surprise at Alexander’s words, wanting to see what he intended to say, ”How could that be?”
