Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2625: Chapter 2634: Dragging Olivia Lewis Down

Leah Rivers came well-prepared. Although she was briefly overwhelmed by Sydney Sullivan’s aura for a few seconds, she quickly reacted. She said, looking grim, ”I don’t know what kind of grievances Aunt and Aunt Sullivan have, but Aunt is my invited guest, which means she’s on my side. Both the Rivers and Sinclair families are shareholders of the Sinclair Corporation. If Young Master Sinclair can bring people to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, why can’t I? Today, I insist on Aunt staying to accompany me!”

Her words were flawless.

She didn’t directly address Sydney Sullivan’s questioning because Natasha Phillips was indeed a mistress. No matter how one tries to rationalize it, Natasha Phillips is definitely a mistress interfering in someone else’s family. Since the identity of the mistress can’t be washed clean, she simply didn’t bother and firmly stated that Natasha Phillips was her invited guest.

Indeed, both Adam and she are shareholders. If Adam can invite people to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, so can she.

What does it matter if Natasha Phillips is a mistress? As long as she stands firm on this point, Sydney Sullivan won’t be able to swallow this insult, yet she’d have to!

Once the mistress steps into the limelight, Sydney Sullivan’s status as Mrs. Sinclair will become nothing more than a title.

At that time, Alexander Sinclair will attract more attention, and she can seize the opportunity to leverage the Rivers family’s influence to force Sydney Sullivan to give in and get Alexander Sinclair into the Board of Directors. Then, gradually erode Adam’s position as the heir...

So, this was an important step for her; she had to win this battle.

Leah Rivers crossed her arms and regained her composure, launching a counterattack by saying, ”Moreover, from what I know, the woman Young Master Sinclair brought is even less suitable for attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony. She is currently embroiled in scandals, and if she attends, it might affect the reputation of the mall and amusement park. This project is a major one for the Sinclair Group, and it can’t afford any impurities. Yet, Young Master Sinclair brought her here at this critical time, showing no regard for the company’s reputation.”

Her words were sharp, hitting the nail on the head with every sentence.

Compared to Natasha Phillips, whose identity as a mistress is known to very few, Olivia Lewis is much more famous. If the media wants to focus, they’ll definitely focus on Olivia Lewis.

And due to the previous incident with August Oliver playing the role with her, Olivia Lewis’s public reputation hasn’t been good.

If Olivia Lewis attends the ribbon-cutting ceremony at this time, there’s a high chance it could be used to stir up trouble, dragging down the Sinclair Group’s reputation along with it.

Alexander Sinclair slightly curled his lips, glancing smugly at Adam Sinclair, whose expression was getting colder, feeling pleased.

He thought it would take a long time before he could see this man hit a rough patch, but it happened much sooner than he expected. It felt really good~

It seemed that Leah Rivers, besides her family background, did have redeemable qualities. His efforts and patience with her were not in vain.

This woman still had some value to exploit.

But it was a pity for Olivia Lewis...

Alexander Sinclair’s eyes darkened as he stared at Olivia Lewis’s beautiful face, looking eager.

Hopefully, once Adam and Sydney Sullivan face setbacks, they’ll take it out on her. That way, when she’s at her most fragile, someone from their family can properly ’console’ her~

He was already imagining Olivia Lewis writhing beneath him in his mind, making his gaze more and more explicit.

Olivia Lewis felt an explicit and disgusting gaze directed at her and quickly glanced in that direction. Although the person quickly retracted his gaze, she still saw Alexander Sinclair’s despicable face.
