Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1417: Chapter 1417: Take Her Sea Fishing Chapter 1417: Chapter 1417: Take Her Sea Fishing Dozens of dolphins were leaping on the surface of the sea, occasionally changing formations; now circling, now fanning out as if they were dancing in the water.

“What are they doing?” Enna Clark asked, turning her head.

“There is a school of fish beneath the water.”

Enna Clark looked closely and indeed saw the fish trapped in the middle.

“Dolphins use sonar to affect the direction in which the fish swim. They are hunting.”

Enna Clark said in disbelief, “Did you know they’d be gathering here?”

“Are you dumb? How could I possibly know that!” Baron Lawrence’s dark eagle eyes swept over her, his lips barely touching as he spoke, “We just got lucky and happened to come across them.”

Generally, unless one goes deep into the sea, it’s not possible to see dolphins, much less witness a pod hunting together.

The reason they were able to see this was probably that a school of fish just happened to swim here, and the dolphins followed.

Of course, he could have used high-tech methods to mimic the sound waves of a school of fish to attract the dolphins, but this time, it was purely good luck; he hadn’t arranged for any of that.

He had only seen the dolphins from the deck earlier and, remembering she liked dolphins, had suggested she come to see them.

He hadn’t expected this woman to ask him such a question!

“Pretend I didn’t ask,” Enna Clark said embarrassingly, realizing how silly her question had been.

The school of fish moved swiftly, and the dolphins, following the fish, soon disappeared from their line of sight.

The azure sea was tranquil once again.

Sunlight scattered across the sea’s surface, casting a golden glow as if gilding it, creating a dreamlike and breathtakingly beautiful sight.

Baron Lawrence had no interest in dolphins and pulled the wistful young woman to sit by a deck chair, opening the conversation lazily, “Do you know how to fish?”

“I’ve fished before, but I’m not good at it,” Enna Clark said truthfully.

Baron Lawrence turned and ordered Scott Harris, who was behind him, “Bring two sets of fishing gear.”

“Yes, Lord.”

Soon, Scott Harris, dressed in a tailcoat, came out with two complete sets of fishing gear. A blue set was placed before Baron Lawrence, and a pink set was set down in front of Enna Clark.

The blue and pink fishing gear, no matter how you looked at them, appeared to be a matching set for couples.

Baron Lawrence seemed quite satisfied with this set of gear, without any complaint. His movements adept, he pulled out a fishing rod from inside and expertly opened the tackle box.

It was then that Enna Clark noticed the box held various types of bait and floats.

Baron Lawrence chose the simplest one and adeptly attached the bait to the hook before casting it into the sea. Then he took more bait from next to him and scattered it around the float.

Watching his proficient actions, Enna Clark was somewhat amazed.

In her recollection, this was the first time she had seen Baron Lawrence fish.

Scott Harris, as if realizing her curiosity, said with a smile, “Lord really enjoys sea fishing. He used to go out to sea frequently to fish with Young Master Sinclair and Young Master Harris. Actually, sea fishing is quite interesting; Ms. Clark should give it a try too.”

Sea fishing, such an upscale pastime, was something Enna Clark truly had never experienced.

The most she had done before was fish in a fish pond.

Moreover, the fishing rods she’d used weren’t as sophisticated — they were just the ordinary kind, ready to use when pulled out.

She really didn’t know how to use the kind with buttons and a small screen on the fishing rod.

Baron Lawrence had opened his too quickly, and she hadn’t paid attention to how he did it.
