Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1407: Chapter 1407: Olivia settled down Chapter 1407: Chapter 1407: Olivia settled down The woman hadn’t said a word to him the whole way here, but upon arrival, she took the initiative to help him hide the truth from Enna Clark. With his understanding of her, she probably had already decided in her heart to break up with him.

Adam Sinclair had never felt such a headache before.

In the past, it was always the women who worried he would tire of them. Since when did it start to become him worrying that a woman might grow tired of him?

He guessed that what goes around comes around in this world, and Olivia Lewis was his retribution!

“I’ll talk to my mom again and work on her thoughts, Baron. I need a favor from you.”

“What is it?”

“Could you look after her for the next few days? Someone took photos with their phone on the set today; I need some time to suppress the news.” He paused, “Also, until the injury on her face is healed, she can’t face the media. If someone takes her picture, it could have a bad impact on her.”

Baron Lawrence was seeing him caring about a woman like this for the first time. His deep, hawk-like eyes were unfathomable as he glanced at him and surprisingly didn’t refuse, “Since you’ve already made up your mind, sort things out with your family sooner rather than later. Don’t drag your feet.”

“I know.”

“What I mean is, you’d better think clearly about what extents you are willing to go for her. Your family will definitely not accept her background!”

The news was indeed often filled with stories of Stars marrying into rich families, but in reality, the so-called rich families reported were not truly wealthy. In the eyes of the real upper echelons, those were merely upstarts with a bit of money.

A genuine wealthy family looks for an equal match. Someone like Olivia Lewis definitely could not marry into the Sinclair Family. They would never allow a Star to be their daughter-in-law.

He wanted Adam Sinclair to think clearly about what it would cost to be with Olivia Lewis and whether he was willing to pay that price and if it was worth it.

If after thinking it through he still insisted on being with Olivia Lewis, then he should take a firm stance.

If it seemed not worth it, it would be best to call it quits early on, for everyone’s sake.

After all, Olivia Lewis was that woman’s friend. If anything happened to Olivia, that woman would definitely not take it well.

“Today’s event won’t be the last time. Don’t count on convincing your family. Think it through yourself.”

Adam Sinclair pressed his lips together and grunted a response, “I’ll think about it carefully.”

Baron Lawrence didn’t bring it up again. He had never been interested in such matters. He spoke so much today solely because of Enna Clark.

He had said all that needed to be said; the rest was up to Adam Sinclair to consider.

Olivia Lewis had settled into the resort.

Although she wasn’t staying in the same villa as Baron Lawrence and his group, her villa was right next to theirs, so they spent plenty of time together.

Worried that Olivia might be in a bad mood these past couple of days, Enna Clark had spent most of her time keeping her company, much to Baron Lawrence’s dissatisfaction. Enna knew what he was unhappy about, but with everything that had happened to Olivia, as a friend, she couldn’t just pretend nothing was wrong.

After spending the previous night, Olivia Lewis’s mood seemed to have completely stabilized, really as if she had taken a more relaxed view, going about her business as usual.

The next morning, she went to the villa where Enna Clark was staying and invited her, “Enna, let’s go sunbathe. I’ve prepared a swimsuit for you, the style is absolutely suitable for you!”

“Sunbathing? I don’t want to go.”

Olivia Lewis looped her arm through hers, “Come on, I rarely get time to rest. Keep me company for a bit, will you?”
