Chapter 26: Chapter- 26: A Princess

”Oh princess Kajol got 4th place!”

I heard a female student nearby saying that.

*What? A princess?*

Who is sh.....oh right! Karnis!

Karnis, the royal family of Keshan Kingdon in the north of the Yona Kingdom.

So she is a princess of a foreign nation, but what is she doing here? There was no such character in the game.

Suddenly my tension is intensified. Why is there an unknown character appearing from outside the story!?

Is this what they call a butterfly effect? Did this happen because I changed the things too much?

Let’s forget about that for now, she’s just a foreign princess. It got nothing to do with me.

”Let’s go to the auditorium”

I told Ian as I headed toward the auditorium.

There’s no use wasting time on thinking about it, so better focus on the main things.

We soon reached the auditorium, where several students were already present.

”Oh, there they are”

Ian said as he signaled toward my left. Elena and Lily are happily chatting there.

Elena also noticed us as she walked up to us along with Lily.

They are also wearing the academy’s uniform.

The uniform for the female students is almost the same as male students, except they have skirts instead of trousers.

Elena is also wearing the hair ornament that we bought last time.

”You are looking beautiful”

I gave her a compliment before she could ask. I am used to it now.

”Aa...T-thank you!”

Elena replied while looking a little flustered.

Did I make her embarrassed?

”Lady Elena!”

We heard a really lively voice calling Elena. It is none other than the always energetic Luna.

But she is not with Ray today, instead there is someone else with her.

A girl I don’t want to meet right now, the heroine Hina Blessen.

Just as described in the game, Hina is now an enchanting beauty. Her bright honey colored eyes and long light brown hair are extremely beautiful.

Only if her hair were blonde then anyone could have mistaken her for an angel.

Of course, I come from a world where beauties like her use their looks for money and fame, so I am not gonna be love struck by something like that.

Though I don’t want to be involved with her but I can’t just run away.

I’ll have to greet them at least.

”Good to see you Lady Luna”

We greeted Luna as formally as possible, then she introduced us to Hina.

”Hina is a genius who scored the top marks in the written exam”

Luna didn’t forget to include everyone’s good point while introducing them.

Is this your profession?

Nevermind, I decided to take my leave from the ladies gathering and Ian naturally followed me.

Ray is not around here, he must be helping Lucian with his speech practice.

They are best friends after all.

Honestly, there is also politics involved in their family’s part for making them friends.

Ray and Luna are the treasure that the royal family can’t afford to lose, and their families can’t let go of a chance to make contact with the Royal Family.

There’s still some time before the start of the ceremony so we greeted some of our acquaintances.

There were some seniors, classmates as well as some important guests.

There’s no lack of people because this year’s freshman representative is the second prince.

There must have been more people at the time of the first prince.

Soon the teachers also entered the auditorium which signals the start of the entrance ceremony.

The one leading the entrance ceremony is the current student council president Jasmine Curzon.

She is Jin’s elder sister and also the eldest child of the Duke of Casus.

In terms of strength Jin might be stronger but honestly, she is more suitable as the heir of their family.

Of course this world is patriarchal so she is already engaged to the heir of the Elliot family of Ellor.

Jasmine began the ceremony by her and the academy’s introduction.

Then she called the principal of the academy for the speech.

Alfred Cupin, principal of this academy and a distant cousin brother of the previous king.

He is around 50 years old, has some white hair and a beard of some monk.

The standard intelligent and humble old teacher.

He is said to be at the final stage of the grand mage level with great mastery in the light magic.

The principal gave the same speech I faintly remember from the game.

After him, the student council president called upon the name of the freshmen representative prince Lucian to give a speech.

Prince Lucian certainly reflects all the characteristics of him mentioned in the game.

A handsome gentleman who is kind and benevolent as well as hardworking and strong.

”First of all I would like to express my gratitude towards the warm words of the respected principal on behalf of all the new students.....”

”...while you are a student, you are not bound by status and you should be good friends and good rivals”

The speech is received with applause by the students and the teachers

What an amazing speech really.

It’s definitely not written by prince Lucian. I can tell that it’s written by an experienced writer or politician.

The speech addresses not only the student point of view but also that of an adult.

Especially the emphasis on ’equality’ among the students regardless of their family background shows the wisdom of an experienced person.

Well it’s natural to get help from the family when you have to maintain the dignity of the royal family.

After completing the speech, Lucian walked down the stage.

He went back to his friends group and those are Ray, Luna and....Hina?

So they all are already friends?

According to the game, today is supposed to be the heroine’s second encounter with the prince Lucian.

He is supposed to be mesmerized by her beauty and remember their first encounter from the party.

But now it seems that I changed the plot too much and they are already pretty close.

Well I haven’t heard any news of their engagement but the way they are looking at each other, the affection is already visible.

Maybe there is an opposition within the Royal Family against their engagement?

This could be because of her birth origin.

That happened in the game but much later when they are already deeply in love, but the truth that Hina was a child born out of an illegitimate affair was found out.

Well, none of this is my concern.

As I was thinking about all this, I felt someone approaching me.

”Excuse me”

An extremely beautiful girl, with clear blue eyes and dark red hair appeared before me.

Her looks are on par with the heroine but the aura she gives seems completely different.

”I am Kajol Karnis, sixth princess of the Keshan Kingdom. It is my pleasure to meet you sir Kai Shen”

Huh?
