THE GOD EATER

The red-haired friend said, “So if we didn’t have a rank 6 undead giant on our side, we would have lost? That’s unbelievable.”

Her friend nodded in agreement before saying, “Truly, the rank 5 death cultivator was instrumental in our victory. I wasn’t surprised at all when she was rewarded with the title of the most useful soldier. She truly deserved it.”

The red-haired woman chucked as she asked, saying, “So when do you plan to return to the Heavenly Battlefield?”

The person who was asked shook her head like a drum and said, “Never again. I am not going to put myself through that kind of experience as long as I have a choice not to.”

“Of the 500 rank 4 cultivators that entered the world, less than 50 survived by the end of the Heavenly Battlefield. So the casualty rate was higher than 90%.”

“As for the rank 5 cultivators, of the 15 of them, only 5 survived. That’s a casualty rate of 66%. It is better than what the rank 4 cultivators went through, but it is still bad.”

“Right now, I would rather be stuck at rank 4 than risk my life for the faint chance of advancing to rank 5. I just want to enjoy myself in your embrace for the rest of my life.”

As she said that last statement, she buried her face in the chest of her red-haired friend. Then she shook her head within the cleavage of the bountiful bosom.

In response, the red-haired woman giggled and slapped her shoulder slightly before saying, “You thug. I hope you don’t suffocate down there.”

The raven-haired woman said, “If I suffocate on your tits, I won’t mind. It is honestly a better way to go than being smashed into meat paste by a hammer.”

“Speaking of smashing, prepare yourself for what I have in store for you. When I am done with you, you won’t be able to walk right.”

Loki decided that the useful part of their conversation was over, so he decided to leave.

On his way back to his room, he said to himself, ’So that crazy bitch eventually won the title of the most useful player. I am not surprised. That rank 6 undead giant of hers was phenomenal. If I hadn’t taken advantage of its weakness, I wouldn’t have been able to defeat her.’

’The people of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect are truly something. If not for that crazy bitch, they would have won. I guess they deserve to be taken seriously.’

’And there is the Nexus of Truth Sect too. That copycat of theirs is truly formidable. She copied the hammer and was even able to know that the hammer was mutated. Then she proceeded to use the hammer to kill its owner. What a riot!’

He had missed that Heavenly Battlefield because he is no longer a rank 4 cultivator. When he signed up, he couldn’t be an ordinary soldier. He had to be a commander and leader, so the sect had to give him his own team of a hundred rank 4 cultivators.

Now that he heard what had happened in his absence, he remembered his experience with that particular Heavenly Battlefield and how it had turned out. As it turned out, his presence in that Heavenly Battlefield had changed a lot of things.

This thought made him curl his lips and say, ’I wonder how my presence in my upcoming Heavenly Battlefield will affect the outcome. We shall soon see.’

With that, he returned to his room leisurely.

He has already been assigned to a Heavenly Battlefield, and it is scheduled to be held in one month. So he didn’t have to wait for much longer.

A month came and went quickly. Soon, it was time for Loki to take to the battlefield.

But first, he appraised his condition with the Power Identification Ability.

He has reached the limit of cultivation thanks to all of the energy stones that Fenrir ate. This achievement then led to an increase in the quantity and density of his total internal energy.

The quantity of his total internal energy has gained a newfound importance ever since he learned that it would determine how large the initial size of his Cave Heaven would be.

So now that he is seeing that his total internal energy is 471,859,200 units, he can’t help but look forward to when this is converted into the size of his Cave Heaven, which will directly affect his power.

After looking at his stats and attributes for a while, he took to the air. Then he flew in the direction of the air dock. This was because the airship that would be taking him and everyone else should be at the dock.

When he got there, he discovered that he was the first rank 5 cultivator to arrive. This made him chuckle and say to himself, ’It seems I am the most eager for this. I can’t blame the others for being so laid back.’

The other two rank 5 cultivators didn’t come until three hours later, when every rank 4 cultivator had arrived. Only then did the airship take off and sail in the direction of the Heavenly Battlefield.

Every rank 4 cultivator on the airship had sealed their lips and were quiet. They didn’t want to make any noise that might offend the three rank 5 cultivators.

Their silence turned out to be a good idea because the three of them were currently busy discussing with each other and their discussion was not exactly amicable.
